OOC: Pulling her out! She'll have one more post of her tasting food and buying some stuff then she's gone. Volelrei laughed at Tau's comment. A vegetable indeed! And she nodded agreement at his opinion. "Stealing food's the worst crime someone can do." In her oh so humble opinion of course! Starving was terrible, not being able to eat and being surrounded by food was almost worst though. Vollerei still had nightmares about when she'd cute her cheeks and couldn't eat without pain. She then heard the bell signaling the start of her battle and waved goodbye to Tau as she headed off. "Nice seeing you again, Tau! Try not too make too much of a fool out of your self with your posturing!" She called over her shoulder as she vanished into the crowd.
Rayolun
Rayolun was feeling rather happy with himself. Lasarra was looking forward to his visit and he'd gotten a hug! Girls are rather squishy aren't they, he thought as he sauntered off to his battle, in a nice way.... He'd have to try his best and see how far he went in this tournament! Perhaps he could impress Lasarra more. He made sure to watch and cheer for Lasarra, though he did stay and watch other's fights. It was interesting watching the fights. He felt like he learned something about the way people fought by watching them. It's rather like observing your prey before you strike. He thought with a smile. He doubted anyone here would be happy to be thought of as 'prey' but watching and analyzing them felt like he was analyzing his prey as he stalked it, he couldn't help it! His stomach suddenly grumbled, it was hungry after all his fights! Perhaps he should see what the prices for food were.. he didn't have very much to bargain or buy with since he so rarely left the jungle. Senja Senja watched the fights with excitement. The thrill of being in the crowd was just so intense; she could practically feel everyone's eagerness, trepidation, and happiness. She watched Niadra and cheered loudly for her, and gasped when she was hit, hopefully that didn't hurt her too much! Once Niadra's fight had finished, Senja figured she should set up a small area for her to dance in now while people were still busy in the market place. She also figured that Niadra would be able to find her easily if she could hear her playing her pipes! After a few songs and dances, Senja saw that she'd made some spending money. Happy about that she emptied the container and stashed the money in her bag and then she spotted Niadra weaving through the crowd. "Niadra! Over here!" She stood on her tippy toes and waved her arms happily.

Lasarra
Lasarra froze when she heard her name being called, instantly recognizing her sisters voice even though she didn't know where it was coming from. It took her a second but finally she realized that her sister was at one of the food stalls and waved at her as Kelina walked towards her.
"I saw your battle, I also lost. It seems we both need some practice." she said with a laugh. She looked around for a second before turning back towards her sister. "What are you eating? I'm starved, if it's good I'll go get some myself. Now I know why cooks are so important in wars." she said laughing. She had never really heard that, but she assumed it was so. After all, the food stalls seemed to have many more people now that the battles were over then before they started.

Niadra
Niadra continued to scan the crowd, and all over a sudden could see the arms of her shifter friend. "I'm coming Senja!" she called back as she pushed past the other people. It looked like Senja had already set up a small area for her to dance in. "You got started without me!" she teased. Really she was happy that Senja had already started, that meant she had something to do while Niadra and the others were dancing. She wouldn't want her friend to get bored.
"How is the crowd? Do they know talent when they see it, or are they uncultured." she asked with a laugh as she danced around her friend. Sure she was a little swore from the fight, but she would never pass up a chance to dance or to make some more money.

Ilyra
Why was his hand over his head? What was wrong with his head? He didn't look at that good, and Ilyra was about to suggest that he went to the healers to get all fixed up when he started talking. When he did she frowned slightly. Why did he want to change his eye colors? He was perfect the way he was, sure his eyes weren't like those of their sisters, but neither were hers. She had red eyes, and still she didn't want to change her eyes. Briella told her to be proud of who she was, that she was special. So was Yaholo.
And then he moved his hand and she saw he was now missing both antenna! He had already been missing one, but now he was missing both of them! "Yaholo what happened? Here let me help you. But you should see a healer before going to get that potion. If anything you go to the healers, and I can get the potion for you." she offered as she put one of her arms through his.

Kelina frowned when she said she had watched her battle, she hadn't done the greatest. "I know I need some practice! You did pretty good though! I know Yaholo is really proud of his hammer and really enjoys his class. They're some kind of noodle is some kind of broth, its really good!" She said surprisingly. Kel had run into Yaholo one time in the woods, he was a really nice guy!

Ime's mother looked relieved. Ime just grinned and waved happily.
"Okay!" she chirped, "Byebye, Kelninna!"
She took her mother's hand and they began back toward the tournament grounds together. Maybe she'd see Kelina again some day! She'd certainly like to meet her again after she'd grown up a bit!

Tau || At the food stalls with Vollerei (post 7)
((Pulling Tau out of RP))
Tau waved to Vollerei with his cheeks still full of the second bun he was eating. She sure left in a hurry. But then again, it was almost time for the battles. The horns had already blared. "See-nnh you-hhn."
He gulped all of the filling down and washed it down with water before wiping his hands on his shorts and stretching. He would hate to fight on a full stomach, but really, what other choice did he have? Time to see what his opponents were made of. He sauntered off to the Arena to see who it was he would be fighting first and was more than sorely disappointed to see that it was a chick of all people.
This would be cake.

Sathe || Wandering the Fairgrounds with Aminah (post 9)
The lady talking to Sathe decided on her color and picked it up. "All of the fish are so cute!" Sathe said to her with an emphasis on all, as if none of them could be left out. She was still holding her fish tight, but replacing her free hand to hold onto it better.
The lady asked her question and seemed to be waiting for Sathe's answer. She nodded her head and smiled. "Well, those two are still Big Sister's, so they're not mine really. But Big Sister bought mine, so I think it's more like she has three." Sathe was a big enough girl to know that just because she wanted it, it didn't make it hers. Aminah's fish were Aminah's fish. She would just have to visit a whole bunch and go see them so her Tin would have friends to play with.
"Tin is going to make friends with Big Sister's fish." She held her menk up with both hands in front of her face so she could look at it. Briella approached the stall, seeming to know who this last Sathe was talking to was. She even called her Sister. She smiled to Briella as a small reintroduction. "Hi Hi!"

[Biroki: Returning from his battle, at potion station]
Uggggh, that had been terrible. Not horrible terrible, though. It wasn't as if he hadn't been expecting to lose. All those fantasies about winning everything? That had been pie in the sky and he had known that.
Still... to lose against someone he was equally matched against... It sucked. He was too tired to feel much more than dissappointment, but he could feel the sparks of frustration slowly growing.
But he would not throw a fit here in public. Maybe in private at his training spot...
The potions advertisements caught his eye- become stronger! Just one sip!
Well that sounded nice. He figured he might as well take a look. Who knew, maybe there would be something to help him.
A familiar figure caught his eye, and he double took, staring at the large brown man. He looked away, then back. It was Yaholo- or at least someone who looked a hell of a lot like Yaholo.
But, where were his antenna?! was it some other half leaf alkidike male? Biroki didn't think there could be many. He wasn't sure if the markings were the same or not.
He squinted for a moment more.
"Holo?" he said, uncertain.
When Ilyra came by he waved at her, then stopped. She had called the man Yaholo. So he was Yaholo.
"Yaholo, are you all right?" he said, walking up quickly now, very concerned, "I... I mean, Sorry Ilyra..."
He frowned. Well, he supposed it would be drastic if an alkidike lost their antennae. The idea was kind of strange, but... Well, clearly his friend was in great distress!
He looked at Ilyra.
"I... I can heal a bit, if you'd like..." he offered, "And then we can all look for the p-potion stand?"

[Kaalnia: Menk Stall]
The kid was confusing Kaalnia who wasn't the sharpest even in the best of times. "But... she bought it for you. So maybe they're all hers?" She held up her new Menk as well, looking at it. She looked back at Sathe.
"Is that your's name? Tin?" she frowned at hers. "I should give mine a name" she said. Yeah, cute pets should have names.
"Uhhh Popper! Mine's name is Popper!"
To her surprise, Briella- Briella of all people- found her. At the Menk stall.
If she had been in an embarassed mood, she would have pretended to TOTALLY NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS CUTE FISH FOR HERSELF NOPE. But she was just happy to see Brie safe and sound. She looked up at Briella, having crouched down to talk to the kid.
"Hi Brie!" she tried to say, cheerfully, but it was lacking its usual energy. She had to try to pretend she was totally okay, though. She didn't want Brie to worry. Or the kid. She didn't even know the kid, so it wouldn't be fair to them.

"We both need practice sister." she said with a smile as she put her hand on Kelina's shoulder. "Yeah, I'd never seen anyone use a Hammer like him! Let's just saw I was impressed." she said with a laugh. She remembered that Yaholo had told her that he met Kelina the one the the two of them had met.
"Oh, it sounds good. Come on, I'll get some too!" she said with a smile as she took Kelina's hand and lead her towards the vendors. "Have you seen anything in the shops that would look good at home?" she asked. She had some money from her mother and from doing odd jobs around Ast and was more then willing to share.

Briella
Something was wrong and she knew it. Kaalnia should have known better then to try to fool Briella. Just listening to Kaalnia Briella knew something was up. Her voice lacked the normal hype that Kaalnia always spoke in.
"Sathe, this is my little sister Kaalna. Did you help her pick out her fish?" she asked with a smile. She knew something was up with Kaalnia but she didn't want to bring anything up in front of Sathe, both because she didn't want to worry the girl and because it wouldn't be fair to Kaalnia. Whatever was wrong she obviously was trying to hide.

"We will have to practice at home then! I'll have to distract you from your animal taming to do so I'm sure though." Kelina teased her sister. Of course it wasn't in a bad way, Lasarra was always trying to tame one animal or another and Kelina actually liked having all the animals around. "Yaholo sure is good with it! He was meant to use a hammer!" She agreed with her sister.
When her sister took her hand, Kel dutifully followed. "I had seen some adorable fish at one stall that I thought you might like." She commented, recalling the little fish in the weird bowl things. Kelina had instantly thought of Lasarra then.

Kaalnia didnt notice any ticks or tells, but she had a feeling deep in her gut that her sister was not fooled. How the hell did Briella just KNOW these things?
Kaalnia tried to grin, managing a smile at least.
"She sure did! The kid's got great taste in colors. I think she has one of each of 'em between her and her sister.." she squinted. "I think."
She looked back at Popper in his little bubble, staring out with blank innocence. He was cute, okay? She caught herself before she made fish faces at him.
If she just looked at the cute, things would be okay.

Maybe? What sort of answer was that?
"I just want a slingshot. I've daggers, plenty of 'em, but I need somethin' I can use t' fire rocks an' balls of ice with. Somethin' better n' my hands, ya know?" He tried to explain. She made weapons, and if she was anything like Winta he should give her something to work off of instead of yelling. Also his chest hurt from the last fight.
The horns blared to announce his fight. He was pretty excited for this one- it was pretty far in the tournament and that meant a really meaty and tough opponent... right? He knew he could do it, he just had to... well... do it.
"Thats my fight. Ya gonna do it or not?" He couldn't wait for her answer, there was a fight going, "Here." he tossed a silver coin onto her counter, "'s down payment. See ya after I win the fight!"
He said, running off to his next fight.
