Azlok nodded to Litaria's request. "I'd glady search the post with em'," he added. Though in great understanding that rest would be required first. The drain was leaving him feeling weak, and though he wasn't injured, he might as well have been. He was also feeling the adrenaline of battle wearing off, leaving his muscles sore from the action.
Action: Converse with Litaria, Ezarix, and Captain Belgrath.

Litaria/Ezarix/Azlok/Drin
The bushy-bearded sea captain rubbed his scraggly chin and nodded.
"Your words speak true. As soon as you've rested, make your way to scout that outpost. Remember this is only reconnaissance, I'd rather not lose such effective and helpful individuals."
Stealth (Hide in Plain Sight) Roll for Drin Failed.
"And you," the captain said as he spun about, "the one skulking over there. Declare yourself and let your name be known."
Averah
The dwarven barkeep wipes the sweat from his brow as you address him though he's suddenly taken aback by your unusually attractive features for this area.
"Well, lass. Wasn't expectin' someone like you ta wander inta my tavern. Here, ya can have a single ale an' stew on the house, but I gotta warn ya, it's not the best an' the stew's not much ta brag about neither. Not gettin' much o' my supplies in, what with the battles an' all. Matilda! Get this girl some stew."
After a few moments, the waitress appears and serves up your meal while your ale is happily placed before you by the dwarf.

Drin looked at the Captain as clearly he hadn't been too carefully but it was okay. Now was only the issue of volunteering to assist these fellows, in a dashing way. Clearly he couldn't stay hooded or the jail seemed likely or at least to be escorted away. "I'm Drin Graydusk. A walker by trade." Gently the hood was removed to show his face. Let them all see who he was as he meant no harm and did not wish for their purses either. "I overheard your plans and only wished to assist this lot of heroes. Such a place you intend to visit has a lot of traps and thus you may use of my ability." The last phrase was to the three adventures. Well now it was just wait and see what reply he would get.

Ezarix put the amulet around his neck for the time being, especially with this shady newcomer poking out from the shadows. He tried not to give too much a look of distrust, however any help could be of use to them.
"I think he would make a fine addition to the team. We could use someone as skilled in stealth as he."
Action: Address the newcomer.

Azlok nodded to the idea of 'as soon as you've rested', loving the thought of a bed. Then saw the attention switch to a new recruit. He chuckled at Ezarix's comment, hearing the oozing sarcasm. He decided it was better if he just rest his mouth and let things play out.

Litaria agreed with Ezarix's sentiment, but given her skill at clever insults (or lack thereof), decided to go check if the ettin or the other goblins had been carrying anything useful while the others talked. When she finished, she found herself caring far more about the captain's offer for a free rest at the inn than anything else at the moment. "I don't care if he's about as stealthy as that ettin. I could do with some sleep right now, and I bet Azlok could too. Let's go back to the inn."
She glanced at the amulet Ezarix had put on, wondering if that was a good idea. What if it was cursed? "I can identify that for you tomorrow," she said, indicating the amulet. "Or now, if you'd prefer, but then you might have to carry me back into town."

Litaria was quick to spy his actions and comment on the amulet.
"Oh, this? I wouldn't be much an advocate of Chaos if I didn't have a little adventure now and then, would I not? Although if you're ever so inclined to identify it, then I won't be one to stop you. Except this once, as you're more inclined to pass out. Save your strength."

Drin put on a small and very short smile as the joke was on him. Of course he could argue that he did not try and hide at all. There was no point in it as they had accepted him into this band of heroes. While speaking it was somewhat clear that they where not high and mighty good. That sung well with him. They probably wouldn't whine if his fingers found them I other peoples purses. "I'm honoured to walk with you brave warriors and I'll make sure to be less noticible in the woods." Well now it was just to follow the three to the inn and rest.

Averah smiled in appreciation at the barkeep, before putting a few copper coins on the bar in front of her. "I appreciate the offer, but it seems like you could make better use of it." She pushed the coins ahead, glancing over at the corner where the wounded lay. "So...while I enjoy a hot meal, do you mind telling me about what's been happening here? And...is there any way I could help?"

Litaria
You search the ettin and a few of the nearby goblins, but aside from broken weapons and useless trinkets, you find nothing of interest. You decide you may as well head with the others to the inn.
Averah
You speak with the bartender for a short while and learn of the small group of adventurers who had just protected the town along with the aid of Captain Belgrath and his crew from the ongoing assault of the goblin menace.
In addition, you learn this "new" piece of information as well:
"I heard that the Captain's wizard friend, Malburn hasn't been seen since shortly after they entered port. I'm no fan o' wizards meself, but in the past years I've seen the man, e's had a right-dirty look on his face..."

Ezarix decided it was time for him to head back to the Drunken Sailor, whether the others followed him or not was up to them. Though it did seem like they needed more rest than he.
He entered the tavern much like before, and the view before him was altered only slightly. This time more of the wounded littered the background and rested in cots. He caught glimpse of the Dwarven Barkeep and gave him a quick Elvish nod of acknowledgement.
He made his way over to an unoccupied corner and sat cross-legged, and cross-armed, closing his eyes for some meditative rest.
Action: Take a mild rest.

Litaria joined the other members of the group in shuffling back to the inn for a rest. She found out which bed was unoccupied that she could claim, and was ready to collapse in it, when she noticed a human woman monk sitting at the bar. Intrigued, in part because the woman appeared to be a newly arrived traveler, and in part because she'd had few opportunities to interact with a monk before, Litaria quashed her shyness and approached the other woman.
"Hi," she said quickly, before she could change her mind and dash away (and probably look completely insane in the process). Then she realized she had no idea what to say next. On top of that, she probably looked extremely strange, considering her tired state and her clothes, rumpled and dirty from battle. She took the chair beside the monk, partly to create an excuse not to talk for a moment and partly because she really was quite tired and why hadn't she just gone straight to bed again?
But it was too late to back out now without being even more awkward, so Litaria attempted to start a conversation with the monk. "Are you also here to help out in the fight against the goblins?"

Azlok was amused by the brash bravery of Ezarix and his eagerness to throw on random charms to figure out what they do. He chuckled before seeing the general consent of the group to go back to the inn. He followed with haste, having shorter legs than the others. He wanted to get in bed though, so this was a welcomed direction of motion. He saw Litaria go for the bar and Ezarix sit in a chair, but decided he needed a bed. He smiled and nodded wearily to the barkeep. "So, what beds be open?" he asked to the dwarven barkeep. The similarity in race was a welcome return.

Drin followed the group in silence. As they started to walk the boy once again hid his eyes under the hood. Sure it removed vision but no one got to see his eyes. At this point it was more of a habit then to avoid detection. Yet then again to avoid being remembered was never a minus. The walk was a quick one. A nice walk and then he could sit down. The three new companions was still nameless to him but he worked on getting their faces connected to names. Azlok, Ezarick and Litary was what spun in his head. The woman was Litary, Litaria or Litarie. That was an easy one. The men could be either one. So a bit more listening and all would be in their places.
Drin sat down near Ezarix. There was crowded in here, well maybe not but too many for his own wishes. He was not here to judge that but he was hear because hopefully these people would need him as much as he needed them. Being quick with fingers didn't make you quick with a blade. So friends that was hands free from his actions and would defend him, yes that was needed. Obviously such a respect would demand time and time would be given.
Action: Inventory check.

Averah glanced back as the adventurers filed one by one through the narrow doorway. She took a mental note of the equipment they had before turning back to continue listening to the dwarven male, making sure to sip at the ale slowly so she can make sure to keep her wits about her.
The mention of a Wizard piqued her attention a little. She mulled over the thought as she took another deliberate spoonful of the stew, chewing it slowly as she got lost in thought. It was the sudden arrival of the female adventurer that abruptly brought Averah's train of thought to a halt, and left her a bit unsure of what to say. She was used to being the observer, not a participant in the usual goings on.
"Good day to you" she replied, once she regained her composure. "I don't see what harm there could be, in protecting the people here. Though, from what I have heard, these people already have some strong defenders."
