Spork Faerie Guns-and-Goats Spork Faerie Guns-and-Goats Spork Faerie Eh, not that much of a story. I was playing the titular role in the play Eurydice in college, and she died on her wedding day, so my costume for the play was a wedding dress. Ah. That makes sense then. My mind immediately went to "Holy ********, Sporkie is married already?! From the way it sounds, it's not going so well either..." Lol, nah... Was in a relationship longer than other people who I know who got married though... I honestly don't know if I'll ever get married though. I'm not sure I will, either. My girl and I have discussed marriage and kids and neither sound particularly appealing to either of us. For me, I just don't want any kids or feel like I'm getting stuck in a commitment I may not keep. I don't ever want to go through a divorce, so I figure I won't bother tying the knot in the first place. As for my girl well, she doesn't want certain parts of her body ruined by pregnancy and childbirth. I know, sounds cynical and miserly, but hey, we're being responsible. 3nodding I agree about the kids part. I would probably adopt if I ever did want kids. I feel like it's a little selfish to absolutely have to make your own kid if there are so many out there already who need a home. Evolutionary psychology be damned. OMG! That's exactly how I feel about it! I feel like it's a little selfish to absolutely have to make your own kid if there are so many out there already who need a home.Dude. Like. Crazy. I have said the same thing before. Of course, nature can be kind of a b***h sometimes and you hafta' fight against your biological clock. And I'm not completely against marriage. Just not sure if it's really for me.

Guns-and-Goats Aon the Almighty Guns-and-Goats Aon the Almighty Guns-and-Goats Of course! There is nothing wrong with that. As soon as high school was out I hit the high seas for two years. Exactly. I didn't want to have to rely on my family for everything anymore. I'm the same way. Whenever I came home for leave, I got sick of my family again pretty quick. Well, mainly my parents. I don't mind having my siblings around. I get on well with my parents now that I don't live with them. While I did though, my mum and I often fought. She was a bit controlling. I wish I had siblings. Though my mum's dating a man with 6 kids, and they're getting pretty serious, so I just might get that wish! eek All parents are controlling. I fought with my mom and dad pretty frequently in my later teenage years. Now I get along with them just fine. I think it's kind of just a natural thing. Oh, my dad wasn't controlling. He just didn't really care one way or the other. But yeah, no longer being a teen (well, okay, having moved past the rebellious phase), has helped me get on with my mum a bit more.

Yeah, that's kinda how it happened with me too. My mom is still dealing with my three younger siblings though. Two of them are out of high school and trying to move out. My little sister is still in, but doing a lot of dumb stuff like underage drinking and partying. My poor mother.

Guns-and-Goats Yeah, that's kinda how it happened with me too. My mom is still dealing with my three younger siblings though. Two of them are out of high school and trying to move out. My little sister is still in, but doing a lot of dumb stuff like underage drinking and partying. My poor mother. That's rather unfortunate... I do with the best for your family on that front! >.< I understand. And that's alright, as long as you have other people in your life who love and care for you.

If you're never expecting anything, you're always surprised. emotion_facepalm The problem with that is I'm usually way too shy to do anything, and my crush coding is all out of whack. I do this weird thing where I don't really do any initial crushing, but it's really easy for me to reciprocate a crush. It's so weird and inconvenient D: I mean it's not like I don't have people interested in me either... I just don't know... *sigh* Aon the Almighty I understand. And that's alright, as long as you have other people in your life who love and care for you. Sort of... sweatdrop Daily? umm...not too much so... I mean I have acquaintances like the people at work and my landlords and such, but all of my friends have kind of moved away, and my ex and I, while on good terms, don't talk all that often...and he has the cat... I mean I have acquaintances like the people at work and my landlords and such, but all of my friends have kind of moved away, and my ex and I, while on good terms, don't talk all that often...and he has the cat... I need another kitty crying I know exactly what you mean... Aside from my boyfriend, I have pretty much no one nearby who I can spend time with... @Sporkie: Yeah, I know what you mean. I was in Afghanistan after I broke up with my ex. After I got sick of finding watchtowers to cry in, I developed a little crush on this Army girl. I think she kind of did the same thing. But she may have also been too polite to tell me to piss off and quit hitting on her.
@Aon: It's not that bad. My mom and dad have been a lot better since they divorced. Shoulda' happened a loooooong time ago. But kids.
