angel_of_joy Twisted_Misery That's really cool. Was it good? Jack Sparrow would've been passed out on the floor from drinking too much and being slapped by ten wenches for cheating xD. You're right, he would have been. Yes, the rum was some of the best I'd ever had. I tried their coconut rum and their pineapple rum and OMG it was just so nice. Not like anything we buy in the stories. It taste better, it feels better when you drink it. It's just all around nice because they make it there. Is it like their own special ingredients or just that it's so fresh?

I mean who knows what some of the big companies to to make their rum, but this stuff is made on the island from Island ingredients and it's been made there the same way for years and years. They know what they are doing. IT was really fresh like the pineapple and coconut was like it was picked off the tree and put in the rum. It was incredible.

They probably take it right from the fields to the food places. Instead of factories and all that where the food would usually get kind of blah. Now I'm thirsty.

Me too, now I want a really good drink. For now I'm going to settle for my Tea. Do you have Tim Hortons that far south yet? I know that Tims was moving into the states, I managed to find one in New York City.

I rarely drink anything else. Water and Tea. those are my go to beverages. Apparently in the next few years they are going to branching into the states more and more.

I could only stand water when I used to play soccer. I drink milk and Sprite 24/7 and Coke on Fridays. I'm surprised they haven't already, but we have a million Starbucks, so that could be why.

Yeah we have 6 star bucks in my tiny little town - which I think is over kill. but we have like 20 tim hortons! heehee. I don't mind sweet tea. That's what we call iced tea in canada. We don't just brew tea and put ice in it like you guys to. I forget sometimes and when I go to states and order iced tea, i usually regret it. But hot tea is my favourite. A few years ago I gave up all carbonated beverages for lent and I never went back. Once in a while I'll have something that you have to mix with pop to cut the alcohol, but i can't drink it just straight anymore.

I couldn't throw a rock without hitting one. How small is your town? Oh I see. I think it depends where you're from in the U.S. on what you call it. Wow, good for you. I could never do that.

Not really, It's more Canada's Duncan Doughnuts. My town only has a population of 110,000 people. Is it terrible to say i've never had a good cup of tea, sweet, iced, or hot in the U.S? Does that make me a terrible person or just way to tied to my Canadian heritage? I only say that because Canada is still technically part of the Common Wealth. The Queen is still on our money. Technically if she shows up in Canada and wants to have a say, there is a throne for her in our parliament and she can just take over. The Governor General, is actually the representative of the Queen when she isn't here, and if something really big, involving Canada and sovereignty is going to happen, she has to sign off on it. We're not Britain, but we're still part of the monarchy. I think it's pretty awesome. I tried to have a root beer the other day...it wasn't what I remembered. Disappointing, but now that i've had my fill, i don't need to have another one for a year, or ever, whichever comes first.

No, it just means you prefer things the way you've had them your whole life. I have a feeling if I went to France and got a burger, it wouldn't be as good as one in the U.S. I had no idea about the Governor General, but that all is pretty cool. I always thought it would be cool to experience being ruled by a monarchy. I don't know if I've ever had root beer, but it just sounds gross. Lol, one sip and you're like, "Okay. I'm set for all of eternity now." xD

I really used to love Rootbeer because it's got more of a Vanilla flavour without having the cola. It's hard to describe. But that was my favourite for a long time, now, yes i've had enough for an eternity. Don't need that anymore. Most Canadians are very proud of the fact that we are our own country but we are still tied to the monarchy. It's our history and when the royals come to visit in canada it's a huge deal. I have a friend whom I went to school with who plays in the royal canadian band and when William and Kate came here a few years ago, he played in a parade for them. I saw him on TV and everything! It was amazing. Yeah, I don't think you'd go to France for a burger, but french food, heehee.

That's cool you can see the U.S. from there. Is that picture from your house? Oh I see. Maybe I'll try it one of these days. Yeah it's like you guys are ruled, but not really. You're like the cool kid in school that does his own thing and is pretty much accepted by everyone. That's so cool! I bet he was freaking out! If I were you, when I go to restaurants, I'd take out a picture of him at the parade and be like, "Oh yeah, I know him. I practically know the Royal family." xD

It's from a park called Hill Crest. And yes, we are proud of our name. It's pretty epic. heehee He did meet the royals, and was very cool about it. He has to be. He's part of the army.

I typed Sleeping Giant and the first thing that came up was Connecticut. That's awesome! You could live in the U.S. and work in Canada or vice versa. Even Hill Crest sounds nice xD. It sounds like it wouldn't have a single bad person in it. Oh I see. I would've been freaking out on the inside.
