Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Still Adi went on about the angel, but claiming she didn't know who the Angel of Vigour was, except the name was Zurial. Nyru knew that the name the titled angel took was indeed Zurial, and whether he really was real and more than myth the shadowmancer could not know. He liked to think it didn't, as the sudden interaction with angels would be a change he didn't enjoy... but he would also welcome it... as fouler things exist in the world at the opposite ends of the realms. He fought a Greater Demon of Hell, and an Angel would have been more than helpful.
Getting her down tot he throne room was difficult, but she held up, and when the Queen said she should go to be treated on her throne, or the 'chair' as Isabelle put it, Adi tried to refuse. "Nonsense" Declasia interrupted, she proceeded to gesture to Nyru and Claudia to hastily take her to the throne. "That 'chair'" she said "has seen far worse and been stained by the darkest of bloods. The floor will not serve as a proper place to treat you, and the hospital ward is at the other side of the palace" Declasia explained.
As the nurses made their way over, one of them had a surprisingly small and sweet voice as she said "Don't be afraid, our treatment might be foreign to you, but it works nonetheless". Then one poured some sort of liquid from a glass phial onto a rag of velvet before placing it straight over the open wound "Oh" said the burly woman "forget to mention it stings a little". She then held out er hand for the spare nurse to quickly hand her a glowing blue gem "Nasty business, vampires. Never thought i'd have to use such ancient remedies" the woman almost sounded irritated, or knew that this kind of wound could be worse than one that looks similar from anything else. She held the gem over the cloth, holding the cloth down with her other hand and let the gem hum and emit its twilight over Adi's body. "This should kill off any nasty bugs the foul vermin spread... accordin' to the books" "you'll be fine" said the younger and sweeter lady, reassuring her with a smile. Then the burly woman took off the moist black velvet and took the wrappings, slowing wrapping it around Adi's waist, Nyru could see the small runes resonating with the dullest of light.
Claudia, meanwhile, was speaking like a robot to the queen, explaining, perhaps out of shame, that it was Adi and Nyru that slew the monster and not her. With a quick and clumsy bow she left, just like that. Queen Declasia could barely reply. She raised her head as curious eyes watched her pale figure disappear from the halls. The queen then gave Nyru a glare and asked "Vladimir Dracula?". She knew of him very well, too well actually. She knew the lineage and that he was perhaps the first of all vampires, even the Prince of Crows was rumoured to descend from him. All the rest in Magic Earth were just mindless fools, insane with the magical properties of hte young Magic Earth they came to after leaving the mundane world. She just never expected the dead vampire to rise again, the last time she checked... Dracula hadn't been seen alive, nor his castle, in many, many years.

Claudia was quick to state that it was her and Nyru that had defeated Vladimir. Adi herself would have spoken up and denied that it was just them. The blonde had helped plenty considering she knew just who they were fighting. The gypsy had no such time to do so, as she was surrounded by nurses and Nyru staying there as support as she sat upon the countries ruling chair.
Holding her tongue back with a sassy comment, the wounded gypsy looked to the nurses and Nyru hoping if anything was 'fishy' that he would catch it. though the soft nurses voice and words made her chuckle, which turned into a cringe.
"I just fought a vampire and half my inside feel like they are about to fall out...your medicine is by the far the least scariest thing here...its simply new..." Adi stated through wheezing breath and cringes of pain.
None of that compared to what followed when the other nurse placed that wet rag on her side. Being it was still a fresh and deep wound, not to mention that Adi's adrenaline had worn off, it hurt more then a simple sting. The gypsy was actually letting out a slight cry like scream of pain as her back arched off the chair. The young woman's hand flying out to grip Nyru's shoulder tightly even if it was still covered in armor.
"That wasn't...a little..." Adi wheezed out through her teeth at the pain eventually eased.
She barely noticed when they brought out the blue gem and began using it. When Adi did realize what they were doing, her grip on Nyru lessened and she stared at it and listened with curiosity; not aware that vampire's carried nasty stuff like rats in the city sewers. The wrappings came next and thought tight in their own way, she was glad that the larger portion of the pain was gone. Now was left was the healing and aches she would feel in the morning.
Looking to the Queen however Adi was firm in her words of certainty. "He will not be bothering you again...nothing but aches remain, and even that evidence is small and scattered on the winds and washed away."

Claudia Vesslia She literally watched his last breath leave his reddened lips before dragging herself out of the alleyway. She found a broken pipe system spewing out mounds of water and washed the evidence off her hands. The group of soldiers that Vincent trained with would come looking for him and once they find out he is dead they'll will chase down the culprit and exhilarate her. She splashed water on her face but it didn't cover up the tears still escaping from her tired eyes. Although, rest wasn't a choice for her because when she looked around their was a lot of reconstruction to attend to. Not just of buildings, but the morality of the citizens that desperately needed guidance. There was a family near her with a woman holding her dead husband with the children surrounding their father. The blonde walked over to them and parted the kids to duck down to the woman's level in order to comfort her. "He wouldn't want you to grieve like this." She touched the female's shoulder with intellect from one same gender to another.
"Ralph, was a lover and protector to the end. I wish I could have returned the favor." The bonnet wearing woman sobbed uncontrollably hugging the corpse tighter to her chest as Claudia stood up. "I'll arrange a proper burial for him as well as the other fallen tributes. I assure you they won't be forgotten." Of course, the archer couldn't stay for long see the others that needed her. However, before she left a little girl with brunette hair and brown glossy eyes tugged on her arm. "Thank you, Lady. You're really nice and pretty, and someday I'll be just like you." The shadowmancer couldn't help but be flattered by leaning down to giving the six year old a hug. If only she was all those things but she didn't even recognize herself anymore. Ceasing a stray horse, she galloped through the city solving as many problems as she could.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Soon enough Adi's wounds were cleaned, and ready to heal on their own with some worthy rest to follow. The Queen was grateful for what Adi and Nyru had done, and she was sure Claudia could not have been as futile as she seemed to make out. Nodding her pale head to Rur'Adika, Declasia "I couldn't thank the three of you more" she said softly as the nurses picked up their bits and bobs and walked by her majesty, the burly one said "We'll be back to clean your throne your majesty" with a respectable smile.
"Your highness" Nyru said, his expression tight, as if to be working out a puzzle. "We thought you were dead" he said, after taking in a breath, "and we were framed for your murder" "I understand." the Queen replied quickly "I thought I was dead too. Your sister took the liberty of explaining a few things when i awoke. Darris wanted to unlock immortality, something he should have known he would not get from me. However, an 'upper-class' vampire of Non-magic Earth has no place here... Dracula shall always stay dead, especially once i alert the syndicate." "But... forgive me saying, my Queen, but you are-" "older than anyone here. It's the curse of longevity, nothing like the rumours the citizens here. I do not age but it has it's flaws" she said, not leading on to explain the flaws. "Oh, and the Therians were a surprise, a welcome one" she said, then Isabelle suddenly spoke up again, forgetting her manners "They deserve their land back". In honesty, Nyru forgot she was there, but now with a horrified look on his face. Isabelle showed no fear however, just an expression waiting for an answer eagerly. The Queen did reply however, with "Their land has always been theirs since the day they abandoned it. Now, onto more important subjects... Before i died i wrote a letter, i knew Darris was planning something but i could not tell anyone. I thought my last days were coming to get me... So, did you find it?" "The... jewel?" Nyru asked. She nodded. "It is safe at Notchwood"

Done with the torture of tending to her wounds, Adi finally was able to relax a bit more. It was still painful and she could still feel Zuriel assisting what the other nurses had done with her healing. He was calmer less anxious over her safety and the Angel had more attention on what was going on around them both vs simply tending to wounds and hurrying the process along.
Adi was still tired though, as more and more the adrenaline seeped from her blood exhausting her further. However the gypsy still focused on the Queen as well as she could, and smiled at the words of thanks. "None needed..." she breathed.
With Nyru now bring up the past and how this whole thing started, Adi listened to find out exactly what she may have missed. So caught up in the process of fleeing and then attempting to get back and find allies, she hadn't asked many questions. Things came into order and everything was crystal clear...Darris...really was a power hungry p***k. Mention of the Jewel however, brought Adi back to full attention.
"The Therians have it safe for now...but with them now coming into light, it may not be so safe there any more. That thing made my skin crawl and my body ache...thought maybe not as much as what I'm feeling now..." Adi stated with a soft chuckle and cringed slightly as it made her side throb with the jerky movement.
'You need to rest and stop moving...it will only slow the process Adi', Zuriel stated in her head.
Adi shook her head physically with her eyes falling closed as if to shake him from her head. '...no...too much to do still....rest can wait...'
Zuriel made a throaty sound that sound much as a growl as any Angel could probably make, as he didn't care for her answer. "All things can wait till you're in a better state of health. This wound is partly my fault for forgetting that your body is still human regardless of how much of my power runs through it."
Adi smirked as she stared at the ceiling. 'Feeling guilty are we...it doesn't become you Zuriel...'
There was no answer but the silence in her head.

Claudia Vesslia On the out skirts of the wall, Claudia straightened out her posture as much as she could searching for more meek souls to spread her condolences. Every time she walked up to a broken citizen her heart dissipated more and more. She felt sorry but at the same time she knew she was no better than the alliances of Vladimir that took away their loved ones. Someone out there right now was mourning over Vincent's demise because of her. She held back regret hoping that her good deeds would be notices by a higher power because even though people could see what she's doing it won't cover up her secret. Squeezing the leather reigns, the blonde swallowed and asked her, "Who I'm I? I've never commended somebody like that and its tearing me apart inside. What will Nyru think of me when he finds out or Adi or the rest of them?" She steered her horse to head back towards the Black Palace, and after it took two steps she changed it's course in a second.
Claudia thought if she ran away, she would eventually face the problem but not right now. Maneuvering the animal through the trees, felt something dark following her and kept turning out of paranoia. Suddenly, the mare's hove hit a stump beneath it sending the horse tumbling to the ground almost crushing Claudia under it's weight. The girl flew off in another direction landing in a pile of mud and when she stood up, after struggling, she started to skin. Summoning her bow and arrow, she scanned the area repeatedly but it wasn't professional and out of panic.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
((Sorry i haven't been replying guys D smile )
It was Adi who spoke up and replied tot he queen about the whereabouts of the Black Jewel, an artefact so foul and powerful that she admitted its affect on her mind and body. Nyru nodded with crossed arms, he could feel the power of the jewel too when they stood before it, no wonder the Therians feared it so much and always kept it locked up in a secure, charmed chest. If anyone were to get their hands on it... he hated to think what would happen. Another Jewel War perhaps? Then what, would the Daywalkers be cast aside again? Forced into hiding their land just to preserve the peace for all of Occulas?
"That's good. I feared that the Jewel would be lost to Darris when he took the city... But, as it turns out, he was merely looking for immortality, and something such as Dracula probably wouldn't know enough about the jewels in the first place." The queen explained. Nyru, still beside Adi, scoured in thought and said "Darris- or uhm, Dracula, kept mentioning the truth and perhaps-" "Luceal, the Spirit of Truth? Doesn't surprise me, there's a reason we only have one building for that faith, yet we cannot destroy the faith or we'll be damned by perhaps a quarter of the population. Doesn't surprise me that he chose to follow a faith like that, it seems to take most it comes into contact with when they're lost, a pity some of them end up crazed and in the wilderness" Declasia explained and described, making Nyru feel like a student again yet he already knew half of this. He chose not to mention it. "Well" she then said, looking around at the throne room, at least Darris kept the palace clean, treated it better than any of the citizens. "You three had better get rested, i'll do the rounds and thank the Therians, give them all a place to rest until they are ready to reclaim Southmarch. Never thought i would be in their debt" "So you'll help them?" Isabelle asked, for once showing compassion in her eyes, the Queen nodded, "Yes, the least i can do send a party of Shadowmancers with them. It will make the wilderness less of an alien to traverse - If I find Claudia..." she paused for thought, wondering where the girl ahd gone "i'll get her back to the palace" "Shouldn't you be resting too?" "Darris kept me in a state of sleep until he knew what to do with me. Sleep, has never been less important"

In Darris gotten his hands on the jewel, things could have turned out differently. Not something that Adi liked to think about, but the reality was that anyone that got their hands on the jewel with any sort of malicious intent could do some serious amounts of damage.
"...the black jewel should find itself a new home..." Adi mumbled aloud but to herself as Nyru spoke up about the 'truth' their now dead enemy had mentioned. This too was something the gypsy had been curious about, and even when given plenty of answers as she listened still confused her. The culture and ways here different yet not so different at the same time from the other places she had seen and the other people she had learned about.
The mention of rest came up this time Adi understood completely but didn't like the idea. "There's too much to do...people to see and heal..." breathed Adi as she slowly and delicately began to push herself to her booted feet with a grown. "Tck..." came the soft sounds of her pain now that the adrenaline had purely worked its way from her system, it was all far more painful...and the aches were only to come later.
"Claudia is our friend...we'll look for her, you have other just as important matter to look into Your Highness..." Adi said this but as she said the last word and stepped from the throne, her breath hitched and she drew the word out a bit more as a sharp pain flared in her side.

Claudia Vesslia A ball of black feathers ruptured out of the bushes which scared the unstable blonde and accidentally she released an arrow. The solid arrow flew at the crow but at that last second turned transparent and fazed through the bird but it still felt the pain. Her eyes widened in shock as the creature crash landed a few feet away from her reminding petrified. Claudia covered her mouth out of sickness when the mare strolled over and dangled it's reigns down to pull her out of the sinking mud. She grabbed the leather straps, the rouge horse yanked her from the brown liquid with ease, and once she was out she limped to the seemingly dead crow. Collapsing to her knees, she hesitated to touch the bird when suddenly it resurrected and flew into her face cawing and scratching. The archer covered her face with her arms letting the furious bird claw the fabric and fly away. At least it was alright and didn't need her sentiment, but what was she becoming? She leaned back allowing her pulse to slow before the house walked over and crouched basically to use the mare as support. Animals knew how much pain the female was experiencing and she wanted to thank her for her kindness by granting her a name.
"Your a good horse, Farlawn." Claudia swung herself onto the steeds back but instead of sitting up her draped herself on its back. Her arms, legs, and body in general were just to tired to steer the horse but she had the instinct to return to civilization. The blonde's hair was cascaded all around her in a dirt crusted mess and her dress was far from savable. Her own died blood clung to her still and her wound was unbearable to deal with by this point. The child closed her eyes but stayed away by mumbling to herself, "Tell me I did the right thing. Please, I can't live like this..." Farlawn navigated itself to the gates and towards the Black Palace with the delirious girl half awake on her back.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Nyru heard Adi's mumble, however he thought that perhaps in time it would make it's way to the blessed Jewel Shrine the syndicate is so fond of. As she made her way from the throne though, Nyru coudln't help but stay close by her side as to make sure she didn't hurt herself further, or even fall. He knew that in a moment he would force himself to move fast enough to catch her. When her tone of voice became higher, he did reach out, but didn't touch her, incase she did fall. After swallowing and assuring Adi was okay for the moment, Nyru added onto the end of her statement and said tot he queen "We'll keep a look out for her too, Queen Declasia. Don't go out of you're way, please" "She helped save my kingdom, but if that's what you wish then I'll do my best not to" she replied, a neutral tone expressing how she woudln't ever let someone have power over her, but that she respected them for saving her city and her land from the vampires.
"Come on" Nyru quietly said, keeping his arm around Adi for support. The queen stayed by the centre of the throne room whilst the three of them walked out. "I'll go find mum and dad" Isabelle stated, walking quickly ahead and down one of the dark corridors to find them somewhere. Nyru nodded as he proceeded to direct Adi towards the Royal Guard's living quarters... home for Claudia and Nyru. He hoped he'd see her soon, it wasn't often they wouldn't be together for longer than an hour in times like this. Before his sister could get too far down a hallway he quickly raised his voice and asked "If you see Claudia could you let her know we'll be int he quarters?!". Isabelle nodded in return without saying much.

Nyru's hovering next to her was both appreciated but also a bit nerve racking. Adi was doing her best to not look like some delicate flowering that was ready to swoon or faint on the spot. The gypsy ignore him for the most part as he reached out in worry but never going as far as to touch her. Adi though looked up at him when he deterred the queen from doing more then she needed to, to which Adi nodded.
Knowing that more walking was in order, this was when Nyru offered his arm and support for Adi. In this case she could agree to his support and help, he was sturdy and kept her from wobbling down the hall.
"Thanks..." she whispered to him, as Isabelle joined them and exclaimed about searching for their parents, along with Claudia if she was around. This left them alone in the empty halls as the guards were everywhere else but there.
It left them the perfect opportunity to talk in private. "...your tattoo...when did you meet him Nyru?" she continued to speak softly as Nyru led the way.

Claudia Vesslia The horse trotted through the town as many individuals view her display a misery. Some tried to help, but she refused them coldly and had to strain her torso in order to elevate in order to kick the mare into gear. The horse quickened its pace because the hooves could be heard from a mile away on the cobbled floor. She arrived at the Black Palace in no time seeing that Isabelle was waiting to escort her at the door. Who else would the Gothic attired female be waiting for besides Claudia or her parents that probably are funding a charity for the refugees right about now? Tugging on the reigns, the mare skidded to halt in front of the maiden kicking up earth in its wake. The blonde slipped down from the settle and immediately lost her equilibrium when she hit the ground. Before Isabelle could come to her aid, she thrust out a hand and warned, "Don't come near me. Just stay back and leave me be, please." Like there was any consequences if the fire wielder did support her.
Claudia struggled to her feet and tried to scrape off the dry mud clumped at the bottom of her dress and push her hair aside into a neat formation. The archer wobbled over to Farlawn, lead her to the sibling, and looked the girl in the eyes. "Please, take care of Farlawn. Don't tell anyone I'm sure, especially Nyru. I don't want him to see me in this defeated state and to be honest, I'm scared to be by him right now. Buy me time, okay?" Without an other word, she left the steed in her care and took a secret route to the Royal Guard chambers. The chambers was were the low ranked recruits stay and not as fancy as the quarters. Nyru, Adi, or the Queen would step foot in there unless it was necessary which it wasn't at the moment. At least there was a bathroom with showers, cleaning supplies, fresh robes, and comfortable furniture to sleep on. Once she accessed the lower level, by paying the main stationary guard to command all personnel to leave for a few hours as well as kept his trap shut, she cleansed her body of all today's residue.
Afterwards, the girl searched in the closet from a form fitting soft cotton night gown and brushed her hair to the side styling it into a lose braid (Sort of like Else). She limped over to a already made bed, and once she hit the mattress she was out until someone came to wake her.
In her dream, she sat on a lone bench under a cherry blossom tree waiting for someone, most likely the Prince. She had bothered him enough, but she needed to compromise with him one last time to see if her decision was inhumane.

Nyru Statem From shadows We'll descend upon the world Take back what you stole From shadows
Reaching the outskirts of the Black Palace, Isabelle came to find out that her parents were in fact in the city square now and were making sure that everyone here was okay. She wanted to speak to them... she thinks that maybe Dracula was the reason that the Occult claimed authority to traverse Magic Earth and help, it would only be a threat from their side of the worlds that would give them an excuse to come here, really. On her way by the gates she did found Claudia though, and the girl looked very much like she had seen better times, how unfortunate for that dress she wore...
"Farlawn?" Isabelle questioned, raising a brow as she looked to the horse and gathered the girl meant the animal. "You know i don't keep secrets from my brother" she stated, but the girl was off and sighed, Isabelle could never understand that girl, always acting on her own mind, not always letting others know what she was up to except for Nyru. That's probably where her mother's dislike for the girl came from. "Fine, whatever" she dropped and arm as she looked to the horse.
Back inside Nyru was quite looking forwards to getting to the quarters, it would be cosy and everything they needed would be there for rest until they were okay again. Naturally, he was thinking about all the city clear up that would be needed, as well as going to Southmarch with the Therians once the Occult were back in Absóluté. Then Adi said soething. She mentioned the tattoo and his heart suddenly began to beat faster. When his chest suddenly decided to collapse he felt the air escape him when he stopped walking and stared at the ground. He swallowed and didn't break eye contact with the dull carpet laid out before them. "You've met him too..." he said, remembering the same tattoo on her shoulder back in the battle. "He found me and Claudia when we were imprisoned... I can't say im proud to have used his gift" he admitted, not truly able to make eye contact with Adi as they continued down the corridors. He kept thinking how the prince had managed to give him and Claudia abilities that gave them the upper hand in some of this, but... how much did he help, really? It was more like he was just here for the ride, watching for his entertainment. He was confused more than anything, Nyru didn't enjoy being confused or frustrated either, he liekd things to be simple. And that was something to talk about alone... simple won't be easy for a while when he thinks about introducing Laxion to his parents...
He shook it off. He needed to update Laxion... he must be worried bitter. Nyru finally asked "You?" then giving her a single glance, his expression showing ache and his struggle to accept the prince ever happened. He wasn't ashamed, but he wasn't proud, he was only unsure about how to feel about the subject. The Prince of Crows was normally like marmite, you either hate him or you love him. Old hags saying how he was great and helped their people in a time of need, others claiming how he was full of deceit and was the terror that unleashed the ravenous vampires that Occulas hates so much, nothing like the high-blood vampires of Non-magic Earth.
Above the darkness and the shame Above the torture and the pain Above the ridicule and hate Above the binding of our fate When it started All we wanted was a chance to live our lives Now in darkness Taking everything we want and we will rise

Making their way closer to the quarters Nyru and Claudia used, the heavier the silence seemed to feel. The palace though rid of its dark and false ruler now, was still dark and full of shadowy mystery. The Dark Palace was still in its own right rather intimidating and frightening to some. So distracted and focused on the goal at hand, Adi hadn't really noticed that for herself, but neither did she let it get to her.
By that realization, Nyru was giving her the answer she wanted to hear but only after confirming that Adi had met him as well. The gypsy figuring the tar in her clothes allowing Nyru opportunity to see the mark on her shoulder, to which she nodded; no point in lying after all.
"That early on..." she whispered, rather surprised, but then again not so much. "You weren't out of line to use it Nyru...or try....there's a lot about those powers neither of us understand; we can't learn about it if we don't use it...we however know not to gross the line into a place where we are putting others at danger or using it as a means to gain what we haven't earned."
Lost in a bit of thought around that, Adi realized she hadn't used those powers yet either. They brought her so much pain, she was a bit worry to use them. The Prince's power not liking her using her light, but what if the light hurt more when it didn't like her using the more darker powers of the Prince of Crows.
It was her friend and companion's single word question that brought her from her thoughts, but also made her rethink about the night she had met the Prince. "I first met him in the Inkwell...while I was seeing Croix; lots of cloak and dagger mystery about him. But when I was branded with the mark...we were in Notchwood. Watching me from the barn I went looking for him after part of my performance and found him there all cocky and majestic," she said with an air of disdain.
Shaking her head, Adi tried to think a bit past her personal feelings about the prince and focus more on what the man...creature was doing.
"He 'helped us' with giving us some form of his power...but he did the same for Darris' men...not here neither to help nor overpower...a watcher from the shadows. The Prince of Crow is playing a rather concerning and dangerous game I have to say..."

Claudia Vesslia A knight entered the room and awoke the young lady assisting that the queen needed their tribulation to society. Straining her still weakened body the girl had felt like she had been asleep for hours when in reality it had only been forty five minutes. The prince stood her up in her dream so that obviously meant that he wanted her to find the answer herself. Word had probably spread by now about her whereabouts because Isabelle couldn't keep a secret from Nyru to save her life so now was a good time as any to talk to him. Claudia thanked the man for allowing her to use his bunker and picked up her crusted disgrace of a dress off the ground. She disposed of it in a garbage can right away hoping to never lay on the garment that contained more than just her blood. Out into the corridor, she slowly climbed the stair well to the upper levels to the Guard Quarters where she knew he and Adi would be. Should she spill her darkness achievement to the gypsy too or spare her innocent ears of such vulgarity?
The archer made it up their stairs to the point where she was out of breath and needed to rest. She sat at the top wiping sweat from her brow and leaning against the railing before she caught wind of voices down the hall. The blonde couldn't comprehend the conversation, but the mumbling was enough to verify whose's voices they are. Erecting herself, the girl inched down the hall using the wall to push off of every few seconds. Their shadows were long thin figures parading towards the room, and her shadow wanted to join theirs but she was afraid. However, it was to late to turn back now knowing that she would have to see the two eventually and tell them her actions of her stone heart.
She slipped into plain view and waiting down at the end for them to reach her. Claudia would have met them half was if she wasn't about to collapse under her own weight and running was an unfathomable opinion. Her heart raced as the drew closer and her breathing was loud enough to echo through the corridor which was almost embarrassing. Although, the red color in her cheeks drained into a pale white which didn't make her look to winded, but instead incredibly sickly. She trying to put on a smile to cover up her pain but there was no doubt Nyru would see right through her ruse.
