Miles Libertatis Miles lay with Noira in his arms. "Noira I...." he began, trailing off as he tried to think of how to put this. "Noira, I don't want to make it sound like I'm just saying this in the moment. But I....I need to say it. Noira, I love you," he told her, bluntly and honestly as Miles was known for. "I've never felt this way about anyone else before. I mean, I don't know how to explain it, but I want to be with you. Like this, always. I want you by my side every night. I want every night to be like this. Um...I know this probably sounds crazy but....it's the way I feel. If you don't feel the same way then....I understand."

Miles Libertatis Miles nodded slowly as he heard Noira. "I understand," he replied quietly, though he was definitely disappointed. "I'm happy to hear you feel the same way," he told her quietly. "I'm sorry if I was too pushy."

Miles Libertatis Miles's smile returned as she kissed him on the nose. "Yeah, I'm glad we'll still be able to see each other again. I admit, I missed you during those months." He reached one hand up and began stroking her hair. "And um...this. Uh...we can do it again....right?" Surprisingly he still blushed slightly. It still felt so new to him.

Miles Libertatis Miles nodded, squeezing Noira gently for a moment. "Okay," he replied before he leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. "If you need any help with the Blackwings, let me know," he told her with a smile. "I wouldn't mind fighting by your side."

Miles Libertatis Miles smiled. "Agreed," he told her. "Noira, you're beautiful," he added, seemingly out of the blue. As he said this, he looked at her as if he had found some kind of hidden treasure. "And nothing that's happened to you could ever change that."

Miles Libertatis Miles smiled as Noira pulled closer to him and continued running his fingers through her hair. "They're true," he promised as he continued to comfort her with his wavelength. He took a deep breath as he closed his eyes and leaned forward, resting his head on hers. "Don't ever forget that."

Miles Libertatis Miles nodded and watched Noira fall asleep. He watched her for a little while longer, stroking her hair before he too eventually became drowsy and fell into his own dreams.
