No problem, do you want me to type something up about it? Also will trainers be giving fighters a boost or something? Yeah math...Lets stick to mini dice game. That works it keeps it much more relaxed and more of a mini game. Will this also apply for all types of fighting?
Mmkay, is there a outline set or just the basics Yeah that love baby is something I can get behind..Wow all types of bad puns. -goes and sits in a corner- You can do what you want with him I am sure I will like it just from the characters you are blending for him.
No problem just commenting on what was posted. Putting my little two cent in.
You can put a paragraph mini on post count. Mixing post and word count could make things easier. With a minimum of a paragraph to count per post and say 12 post minimum or such. I think solos should be added in to growth so it is a nice recap or something.

@ yoru:
So if you've won 5 times you have + 10 attached to your next roll, that sounds good.
Not being able to go over a hundred makes sense but there should definitely be a limit to how much modifier you can stack to begin with just so it's not almost impossible to beat them. I do think somewhere in the +20 to + 30 range should be the max
So the formula stays simple your roll + your modifier if you have one vs opponents roll + modifier, highest number wins.

Yup if it would be alright? *__* I would appreciate it. Anything involving math kind of kills me.
And you RP managers duke the RP reqs between you guys. XD Because, I confess, I'm more an artist than an RPer so I honestly don't know what's too hard an RP req and what's too easy. >>;
Yeah. Since I don't write much at all. *cough cough*
So I can do whatevers for your Elfdude? Okay then. Right-on!

I would even make a comment about it that a post that is just a couple of sentences doesn't count = n=;; Put it right up in front so they can (hopefully) see it. But if you want to go that route of words = points system then it shouldn't be much a problem (again, hopefully).
Reflections should be separate since it's something else. It's a reflection of a PRP, PVP, ORP, and META (No solo) but that's usually just a little summary of their thoughts and feelings of what happened and with the person they interact. No word count or anything to it <3

Since this is just a few people...should it be in the journal/inventory space? >>; or where to put the UPDATE MY GLADIATOR STATS thread. /strokes beard.

@ yoru Since most people aren't fighters it shouldn't be a big deal to ask those that are to keep track of that stats in their journal somewhere. So it's not extra work on your staff.
@ krashed bats Eh I think trainers just offer another interesting rp aspect if you're interacting with one . I guess if Yoru approves they could could also give some modifier points ( still doesn't let you go over 30 just gets you there faster if you do some solos with a trainer)

On the note of the Celestial,
I like what you have there so far and also that they need a prayer or pledge from an NPC or another character that they need in order to gain their godhood; like they need a certain number of them to achieve such a godly level. But no pestering others to get them.
Perhaps they should have a little more requirements other than receiving a prayer like having to write extra words? It's rare to have and powerful so maybe writing a little more should be a task to do and accomplish.

I see. OvO Hmm so basically we're sticking to a point system. And you're only allowed a number of points per post. So no one can take advantage of a 10k post to grow instantly. XD XD Hopefully that works.

Yeah...it's still a soft concept. XD Need to be hammered out. But certainly. They will have a longer and harder time growing compared to the other pathways. So probably need to add more reqs on that race. OvO

AT ALL YOU GUYS
I forgot to put it in the information at the story of Nocte but basically the way a human gets to NOCTE is if he/she is accidently sucked into Nocte by a random portal appearing out of nowhere.
This portal is never predictable. So you can't plan to go to Nocte. Nocte basically just sucks you in....willing or not.

I remember there was a shop about gods back in the old days and at a certain point people had to give out plushies or other little tokens representing their deity and when you had x amount of people accept them it helped them grow. Of course that falls under the potentially pestering people problem.
I'm not sure, but you guys can work that out. I'm content to wrap myself in gladiator related concepts for right now.

XD Ooooh plushies. That's adorable. Might take that under consideration. But it would take more work for the shop artists to make custom plushies for each. And you need prayers to reach both deity and God stage. OxO

Yep! I think the point system would be really good idea for it and to break down those people who write epically long posts and solos. Also a limit of how many solos they can do. Their requirements shouldn't be fulfilled just by half prp and the other half is solos.
Well yeah a soft concept but still good! xD I like how it's going so far.

Mmkay, should this include the trainers and their roles with gladiators? Yeah math...If it stays simple.
Go crazy on that neutral grumpy elf. I can't see it going wrong mixing those two.
Miidnight: Do it. But good chance somebodywill ignore won't see it. Word count seems like a simpler way to go. Reflection could be something extra.
Trainers should do something icly to the character otherwise it is kinda a pointless position. Yeah moving the character faster or boost only the trainer can offer.
Well an inventory system at the start of the post so that even if the staff doesn't update it they can or at least check up on it. A mandatory post made by the rper setting up the journal.
On that note how long do people have to set up a journal? Well at least attempt to set one up.
