Epic Irony Samuel Bates
Friendly Neighborhood Necromancer Life asked Death, "Why do mortals love me so, yet hate and fear you?" As the conversation drew to a halt, Samuel turned his silvery gaze to the battlefield. The physical actions of the men were hidden from him, but he watched his own version of the battle enacted by the energy the men exuded; their auras clashed and wrestled in a climactic swirling of colors. He watched for another moment before sensing an inner turmoil behind him; the boy, Carter, was coming to realize his feelings. Sam felt his confusion fade to a relief which then boiled over into an anticipation of anger, and suspected this whole personal journey was centered on the girl he'd been lovey-dovey with a few minutes ago. The whole scenario was of very little interest to Samuel, who turned back to the fight. After the fighting boy spoke, however, he again lost interest; the way the boy spoke, he was obviously an idiot. That string of words equated to gibberish, and Samuel simply rolled his eyes. "Some people never understand the importance of language. Grammar, spelling, and sentence structure are seriously important if you want anyone to understand what you're saying," he muttered, glancing back to Carter and giving a nod. "Anyway. Like I said, check out Chapter 9 for all your soul-rending needs. I'm gonna go see what these guys have got going on in the library- maybe I can find something I can actually use."Death replied, "Because you are a beautiful lie, and I am a painful truth." I looked back at Sam and nodded to him "I'll look at that. I hope that you find a book you can read. It really must suck not to be able to read what the mage actually wrote." I grinned at him and waved to him

Emmi felt him look at her and looked up, her hair covering her blue eyes. She softly smiled at Carter. Funny thing, while reading her mind was somewhere else. It was on him, and how she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Emmi smiled bigger and bit her bottom lip. I saw Emmi's smile and the way she bit her lip. Is she okay? I look at her and tried to guess her mood. She seemed to like the book. So maybe she found something interesting there. I can't tell. How can I? I can't even guess my moods sometimes. I sigh and looked at the battle field in defeat. Girls are so hard to understand sometimes. One minute they cry cause u got hurt the next their pissed cause you got in a fight.

Emmi noticed him thinking after the slight confusion she noticed when he looked at her. Did she do something wrong..? Emmi shut the book and put it away. She then grabbed a hair tie, and put her hair in a braid so it was out of her eyes. Emmi thought about Carter, and how she never felt this way about someone before. She thought about his smile. Emmi looked to the ground thinking.

Emmi noticed him thinking after the slight confusion she noticed when he looked at her. Did she do something wrong..? Emmi shut the book and put it away. She then grabbed a hair tie, and put her hair in a braid so it was out of her eyes. Emmi thought about Carter, and how she never felt this way about someone before. She thought about his smile. Emmi looked to the ground thinking. I glanced sideways at Emmi and noticed that she put her hair in a braid. I blushed a little at the sight of it. She looks so pretty! I grinned to myself and looked at her from under my bangs. "What are you thinking so intently about?" I whisper to her. I scooted a little closer to her on the blenchers.

Emmi heard him, and looked at him when he scooted closer. Across the bottom left of her jaw was a scar that was not as noticable when she let her hair down. Emmi smiled at him and replied, "just you." Sh told him giggling. Emmi's ue eyes sparkled every time she looked at him.

Caretaker of Snowcrest Castle - Duelist of the Green Rose  ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎As the battle between Zack and Jakar continued the sight of something in a dark shade of grey with green lining swung in using a black chain with a green aura about it. The being in the grey hoodie landed on the stands, far away from all the others present in the area, a patch of green hair hanging from beneath the hood, this being was none other than Sacarius Kel, Duelist of the Green Rose Goddamn I hate these clothes... he thought to himself quietly as he relaxed in the stands. He sat there and watched as Zack and some other... guy, who had a much stronger power level fought it out, with a chuckle he dismissed the fight as unimportant. The real reason he had come here was the familiar aura he felt over in the Gardens, his book was somewhere in the area, probably being held by someone who had no clue just what they held in their hands. Sacarius let out a yawn and gave a bit of a stretch, looking down from the higher up stands at Siera so was speaking with someone who looked alittle worried about something, as his eyes passed over Siera he felt that annoying little voice get louder Yeah, yeah, yeah, later... we got better things to do, y'know you really should get a hobby... he thought in response to the voice, letting out a little chuckle as he continued to taunt the voice Remember when we first met? It was like uhh... crap, what was it? 1500 years? Something like that he added with a smirk, knowing just how much this was pissing the voice right off. ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Emmi heard him, and looked at him when he scooted closer. Across the bottom left of her jaw was a scar that was not as noticable when she let her hair down. Emmi smiled at him and replied, "just you." Sh told him giggling. Emmi's ue eyes sparkled every time she looked at him. I grinned at Emmi and noticed the scar on her face. I lifted my hand touched it. What happened?" I mumble. I had to replace the necromancy book on my lap to keep it from getting taken. I smiled at Emmi and told her: "Sorry Emmi, I really want to read chapter nine in this book." I mumble sheepishly as I kissed her in apology. I opened the book and flipped to chapter nine.... No ******** Way!! I got a little excited and icy wind swirled around me a little. My stone face showed nothing but i'm pretty sure the ice wind gave it away. My lighten eyes turned to Emmi and I sighed. "I'll have to read it later or I might ignore you by accident." I reached out and held her hand in mine.

"Are you okay? you don't seem that cheerful like you were a few minutes ago." I mumble to her. I saw he touch her scar and it made me think of the scar I have on my chest from my baster of a father. I placed my other hand on her cheek and flashed a devilish grin. "Slap me if I do some thing you don't like.... I haven't really relaxed at all in my life until now" I tried to make her laugh... Seeing her bright eyes was way better then reliving memories that I try to bury.

Emmi felt his arm around her and smiled once more. "Yes I am okay.." She told him. She gazed at him when he placed a hand on her cheek. Giggling at what he said she smiled her eyes bright once again. "You're so cute." She told him, smiling to herself.

Emmi felt his arm around her and smiled once more. "Yes I am okay.." She told him. She gazed at him when he placed a hand on her cheek. Giggling at what he said she smiled her eyes bright once again. "You're so cute." She told him, smiling to herself. I grin at Emmi, seeing her bright smile once more and start to relax. Mmmm... if you think I'm cute now you should have seen me when I was younger... I had curly purple hair and thought I could protect my whole family... I thought myself a superhero." I mumble sadly at that thought. I did thought was myself a hero back then. But that's just it. I was a kid when I had those thoughts until I couldn't protect my mom from my father. He was a cruel man. He single-handedly tour my family apart. For that I hope he rots in hell. I thought bitterly.

She told him, and leanded her forehead upon his. I mumble to her and smiled. "I never got the chance to be a wild child. I was busy....with other things." I said with caution. I then grinned a little "Maybe i'll be rebellions this year" I chuckle softly as I tighten my hold on her a little. Not enough to hurt her but allowed her to be closer to me.

Emmi smiled being closer and smirked at what he said. She softly kissed his forehead and gazed into his eyes. "Nothing wrong with that.." She said gently, and smiled again. She was here for him, and wanted to help him with whatever. Her eyes showed that as she gazed at him. Her showed so much trust and the willingness to help that I had to ask. "If I start to look weird....like... uhh... bluish...will help me calm down?"I asked with embarrassment filling my voice. There is no way I can tell her that I have rages.... I rarely do any way. I sigh and lower my head. What a stupid question.. the information was vague to the point of being suspicions.
