A pained expression came over Lesley's face as Cora inquired about Melanie. He didn't know where she was, and it was eating at him. Even if they hadn't finally managed to take things to the next level the night before he'd have still been worried, they had always been friends, but now? He was nearly frantic.
A part of him wanted to stay put, in case she came looking for them, but another part, fueled on by the appearance of a giant ******** spider, figured they should promptly get the hell out of dodge while they still could. It would be pretty damn difficult to go looking for the handler once he was dead.
The spider, of course, had other ideas. After knocking Tonio to the ground, it had set it's sights on Lesley, and with a sweep of one enormous leg it had sent the lab tech sliding right into an over turned table. The resulting bump to his head hurt, but the acidic, flesh burning webbing that rained over him seconds after was far worse. With a yelp the man began tearing at the sticky, silky strands, only vaguely aware that Tonio was having no luck at all, and Cora had managed to make it to safety.

Cora was in agreement that they needed to get going, until she heard the crash from the kitchen. As the giant spider came into view, she froze in spot as fear took over all her sense. Of all things, why did it have to be a spider! Screaming, she turns only to fall to her knees as the webbing smacked right into her leg. It burned clear through her jeans, all the was to her flesh and all she could do was whimper as she tries to rip it off her skin.
Sitting there trembling, she snap her eyes up as she heard Tonio scream at her to get going. She wanted to shout back at him that she wasn't leaving without him or Les. But it was in his eyes, and she knew better then to fight. Tears running down her face, she mouths three simple words to him before she turns and kicks off the ground.
Without looking back, she took off running the same direction Tooly had. Her only hope was that he find his way back to her.
{Cora OUT!}

Guest Name: Coraline Dolan Guest Profession: Photographer HP: 20/25 Physical Description: Standing five feet, seven inches, she a beauty in her own unique way. With boy cut dark brown hair, its highlighted with blood red through the whole hair. Her bangs are longer and hang in her face most of the time. Slate blue eyes, with freckles all over her cheeks and nose. Normally spotted in a simple spaghetti strap shirt and flare jeans. Brief Character Profile: Full of life, she always has a smile on her face. To her, even the worse moment can be the best picture if you look through the eye of a camera. She loves to talk to everyone, and always tries to include everyone in.
His eyes were on Cora only on her. A brow wrinkled as she sobbed and mouthed something that looked like olive juice to him. For a moment he was confused, of course they hadn't had breakfast but olive juice? Shaking his head he watched her run, grateful that she hadn't tried to protest.
When he ended up plastered to the ground by the burning web on his own attempt to run, the mouthed words ran back to him. Twisting and pulling against the webbing to try to free himself he attempted to sound out things in his head as to try to see what his friend had tried to tell him. Looking up a smile of relief graced his lips as Cora's back disappeared out the door. At least she was safe.
Taking a deep breath he scanned the room to see where the spider was, pulling all the time against the webbing to free himself from the floor. Noticing Les now he gave a wince and was tempted to call out for the man to see if he was unconscious. But his better judgement warned him against bringing attention to himself. Focused on freeing himself he managed to get off the floor only to be smacked in the back with one of the spiders massive legs as it swung around to attack.
Action: Flee Target: N/A Roll Results: Fail
My HP: 25 - 5 (first spider attack) - 5 (for failed attempt) =15 - 5 (second attempt.) 10 Hp My Items: None Brief Character Profile: Stubborn. Anyone that's met Antonio knows he's a little uneasy around a large number of people, one that prefers to do his job with as minimal talking as necessary after all he's there to do a job not make a friend. While he's a bit of a hard-a** when works involved he is able to cut loose and lay back when the situation for it arrives. He's an observer by nature which can have him coming off a little creepy at times.. well that and his own twisted sense of humor. All in all he's a generally silent sweet man until his temper gets the better of him or his 'inspiration' strikes.
With enough struggling Lesley finally managed to get himself free enough from teh webbing to make a break for it. His skin was still burning, but he could deal with that after he'd made it out of the Realms.
Correction, after they had made it out.
"Not leaving you behind, let's go man!" The lab tech dropped to Tonio's side, hands scrambling at the webbing that still tangled around his body, until they'd managed to rip enough of the stuff off so the other man could get his legs back under him and run.
Antonio was ok with dying. He was really especially now that Cora had made it out. Though he continued to try to get himself up and out this peace of mind rested in his head.
For a moment he had closed his eyes, panting to catch his breath and hiss at the burning of his skin. It was only when Les' voice reached his ears that his eyes snapped wide. He had come back? Why. Why would he do that, the kindness of a stranger amazed him yet again as he nodded when the man started to help him out.
Once he was free enough he scrambled to his feet with a quick, "thanks now let's get the hell out of here!" Nodding to him he started for the door, fleeing along with him.

Glenda had fallen asleep in the car.
No one had bothered to wake her up.
It was only after the second or third rain of gory body parts slapped the window of the car, finally shattering the glass, that she came to with a loud BLORT.
"Oh, ah, pardon me."
She squinted at the windshield.
"Oh, dear."
Climbing out of the wreckage of the car, she started to approach the doors to the Realms center - and thought better of it.
She turned around and abandoned the ruined vehicle, making for one of the park paths. It was well past time to leave, she thought prudently.
