Knowing that the wolf was really weak Ember had that feeling that she could take the wolf down until she did that same overcharge thing that Frost can do. A deep growl emitted from Embers mouth as the same images of pain entered her mind, and she quickly broke the link. Her mind put up mental barriers as she knew that her only option would be to use her blood pelt, she had been having to use it a lot ever since she met these wolves. She saw the tendrils move to come and find her, but she had already slunk behind the green glowing wolf, she had seen Frost go into overcharge and knew it wouldn't last for very long, but Ember too was already tired and wouldn't be able to hold the blood pelt for very long.
She knew she had to hold it for as long as possible until the over charge was gone. Her blood erupted up onto her back and attack the tendrils that were coming her way, cutting and slicing at them. She jumped and avoided them, biting and snapping. "We're her friends, Frost is in our pack. She had been severly hurt and she thought she got altered blood in her so she asked us to the her up. We were helping her like she asked us to, and you just decided to attack us with out even talking it out or asking us what was going on!!!" Ember shouted at the green glowing wolf as she jumped on top of the wolf and pinned her down on the ground, using one if her blood tentacles to help hold her down while the others trued fighting off the others vines.Marta Jadvyga Yeah I know, hers is a pretty weak mind control over a strong mind, but she can be really strong when using her blood pelt.

Scarlett stayed on all fours even though the vines tried to drag her down. She bit and pulled and tried to rip them off of her. The taste was horrible, watery. Her mind clicked as she struggled and fought at the plant. She hated remembering the past but it was going to be her only chance. Scarlett snarled and growled frustrated. The vines loosened suddenly, she put her strength into her hind legs and tried to rip them off jumping out. Many broke off but some were imbedded in her skin. They brought her down to the ground while a echoing thud. She snorted at the failure but stayed on the ground. Her body was beginning to give up, it was proving more difficult to even get up. Scarlett then realized Ember was there. She was distracting the wolf. Scarlett smirked, then the wolf went into overcharge. Scarlett wasn't a light bright like frost and the new one, she was more like an open light-bulb. Scarlett got her paws under her and stood back up against the pulling vines still wrapped into her. Her body temperature began to raise, the air around her going dry. She focused the heat into her body, where the vines attacked. They needed water to thrive, well she would dry out the cave then. Not having used the spectral light often it took a lot of concentration and energy. Her body was weak so she needed to do this fast. In the near blackness of the cave Scarlett began to full body glow. It was a soft glow at first, the air around getting dry. Then a warm sun glow, the moisture in the cave began to dry out. Then her body jumped her 'overcharged' stage, though that wasn't what her humans called it. A blinding light in the darkness, like standing next to a bulb in pitch blackness before turning it on. Her fur and skin erupted in the white hot heat, air sizzled and the floor beneath them cracked under the sudden change. The vines would crumple away and die under the intense heat. Her mind was to focused on just keeping the heat up to focus it on the plant head. The dry stale air was becoming unbearable for Scarlett. She opened her eyes and squinted against the light from her fur. Slowly she moved one paw at a time and walk at Marta. Even if the plant tried to eat her the heat pouring out of her fur would make it pull back. The equivalent of biting something straight out of a 600 degree oven. She hoped the plant would try it, or wither away soon. Scarlett could only hold the heat so long before it would begin cooking them alive, starting with her.

Marta was rusty, without a doubt; a red flash of warning echoed in her brain a fraction of a second before a weight pinned her down. Yet another pale covered wolf, and what appeared to be blood-like tendrils raising from her back held her down. She was shouting angrily, but her words were lost to the pounding blood in her ears as she fought for control. The air seemed parched, too dry, as the twin-tail pulled from her vines, wavering heat surrounding her body. She could feel her vines retract from the sudden burst of heat, almost like fire. The tables had turned and her plan seemed to have failed- She noticed that a strange smell was underneath her and she realized it for what it was. Bird dung. They had gotten her fur dirty. Her fur-Pure rage exploded within her. Several more blooms erupted from the mass, their spiny jaws roaring shrilly in the darkness, the vines searched for the source of heat hungrily, thriving in the warm air as the intense heat grew closer. Unable to touch it, like the sun as it moved, but bringing that ever-loved warmth, bringing life; the plants thrived. It wasn't called the Devil's Maw for nothing; her mind near completely gone with the combined primal aspects of the Devil's Maw and her own incoherent fury. Some part of her tried to restrain her, tried to hold her back, but no. Tried to remember that this had all started as a bid to get information over what had happened and who these scum that dared try to mess with her were, to deny her what she could do. Tried to remember her fallen, former leader laying outside forgotten from this whirling maelstrom of vegetation twisted by the hands of man into perfection. She was under attack from two separate enemies, with abilities outside of her knowledge, but she didn't care. They had done the ultimate crime, and she would make them pay in blood, in when she tore their corpses to pieces to feed her roots. A particularly thick vine swept out, slamming the wolf off of her as she staggered to her feet. There was something wrong about her gaze- " You. You wretched, diseased bag of fur." She growled, her eyes green and like sickly moons in the darkness. The vines seemed to grow thicker, out of control, filling the cave with their twisting relentlessness, like roots. She could feel the anger rising ever stronger, she began to pry at the Blooded One's and the Twin-Tail's mind, tearing at the walls, seeping into any gaps it could find, a surge of emotion and images to make even the most conditioned tremble. Make them cower, make them writhe, make them pay- The rage made Marta feel delicious, and they were so hungry... Always hungry... The mental strain was making her crack, but it felt so good; every crack letting more of her sanity go, and more power flooded through her, making her markings brighter, making the grin across her face wider. She was in ecstasy- The world was chaos as the monstrous blooms attacked, jaws open wide against her attackers, snapping and numerous. And she was happy. Oh they might cut those down. And they might cut down the next. But still they would come, relentlessly, fueled by their mother, fueled by their source- And she was Fury. She was Rage. And she was Bliss. Marta gave a long, beautiful laugh as she welcomed them to her world. Shika Uchiki Hey, I respect your abilities, but Id appreciate following formula (Dont land the blow, let the other person decide that it hits) just for future reference. You have the right idea though; trying to tire Marta out is not a bad course of action, but also keep in mind she can hold her Overcharge state much longer then Frost since it isn't really designed for her whole body but for her brain.. ^^ Scarlett Schoenheit They cant hit you. But Devil's Maw is like, her one plant that's the most fire-resistant and loves heat. Also, please someone take her down, because this cave is now filled with Devil's Maw, and once she loses her grip, or gets too tired to handle it, it will go friggin beserk.

Scarlett readied herself for an attack. Then she realized, the vines bent and moved to her but were not touching her. An evil smirk crossed her maw as she moved backwards. Slowly the vines pushed and moved out of the way as she walked to the entrance. Why would she care if the plant killed off Frost and the brown one? She didn't, Ember would just be a casualty. She got to the opening and focused the energy at the the ground again. The floor split from the original crack toward Scarlett. The cave began to collapse inward as Scarlett's energy ran out. Her fur was gone and dark burnt spots were all over her skin. Tired and badly hurt she needed to get away before it was the death of her. She slunk into the dead trees and trotted away as best she could. No sign of the other pack members so she felt she would get safely away. She would need time to rest in case the human dogs got out. Though she felt a sting of sadness for the lose of Ember she pushed it to the back of her mind. The wolf moved slow at first but was able to get a good distance away from the pack for the time being.

Bullet wandered around for sometime before regaining her sense of smell. Once she did she fallowed Scarlett's trail to a collapsing cave. "What the hell!?" Sniffing around she knew that Scarlett had left but didn't have any sign Ember did, she was unaware Frost was here as she thinks the wolf is still hidden away. "Ember!" she yelled as loud as possible hoping she was still alive. She dug at the rocks trying to move them, but more just fell and covered any small opening she made.
Worried Ember may be dead she paced back and forth thinking of how to get inside.

Ember growled at the images and everything going on in her head, then the cave collapsed and everything went pitch black. The images had disappeared and everything seemed to disappear, but Ember had made sure to protect herself with the blood from any rocks that may have fallen near her or almost on her. Once everything seemed to have died down did she open up her blood pelt and let it melt back against her fur, she put out her senses. She could hear the pumping blood of Frost and that other wolf still, but Scarlett's was long gone. Ember knew that the wolf had done this and ran away, not wanting to face her actions.
Ember coughed from with in the dark damp place she went over to where Frost was hidden and curled up next to her, she was going to protect this wolf no matter what...even though they both got off on the wrong paw in the first place.
Her ears twitched when she heard a familiar heart beat and then the voice of someone outside the cave. It was Bullet, "Bullet!! I'm here, I'm with Frost...but I don't know about the other wolf...I think she's knocked out cold. Scarlett ran away, she collapsed the cave...I can't find a way out..." Ember panted between each sentence and then trailed off when she heard a hissing sound, she just really hoped that plant wasn't still alive. She hoped the rocks had killed it because she wasn't sure she had any energy left to fight.

When the last rumblings had sunk away, Marta curled the heavy walls of vines away from her, shoving bits of rock and such away. Her rage was bubbling now, seething as she saw that an additional fine coat of dust now covered her form. The twin-tail had made a mistake. She should have finished the job... Much of the plant lay crushed and dying beneath the rubble, only the small patch and a single bloom that had protected her from the cave-in remained; her eyes still glowed eerily green in the darkness, thought their light was much dimmer now. With less of the Devil's Maw to control and her near-approach to complete exhaustion, some semblance of sanity had returned, tempering her barely controlled rage. She would rip them apart later. For now, she had to focus on getting out of- A quick mental sweep revealed that there was in fact two consciousnesses nearby. One was slow and steady; Sno-cone, for sure. She was starting to deeply regret even trying to get her in the first place; this had been alot more trouble then it was worth.. the other... A cruel grin crossed her features. Exhausted as she was, there still might be time to play after all... The vines ripped apart the barrier of fallen rocks between her and her prey. "Found you~" she called with some hoarse-ness, as the head of the bloom began to creep through the opening, its jaws wide and dripping with acid.

With Embers response Bullet's tail swung, happy to know she was still alive. "Is Frost okay? I'll keep digging here, try and find a back way out." She tore at the stone sending them flying behind her. All she needed was a small opening, enough for her to fit through. Another voice echoed from within. It sounded cruel. Ember was in danger. Frantic Bullet managed a good sturdy opening. She wiggled through carefully and lightly moved through the cave. She nearly fell into the large crack a few times. It was so dark in the cave, all Bullet could see was a faint green glow. She didn't have time to ask what was glowing, she needed to find Frost and Ember and get them out of here. "Ember?" She called quietly unsure if a loud call would cause a further cave-in.

Frostridge was beginning to hate waking up. Every time she did, it seemed either her body was reminding her of her hurts with either blinding agony through the afflicted areas, leaden exhaustion in her limbs, or a searing pain in between her temples. Either that, or some huge crisis was occurring- It appeared she had hit the jackpot however. Slowly she resurface to consciousness, as her body awoke; the air smelt wrong, different; confusion, pain, and still tired... How long she had been staring at the dirty floor in the pitch blackness she didn't realize till she saw motion on the edge of her vision. A white pelt stained red... Groaning, she clambered to her feet, feeling her shoulder scream in reminder. Confusion was dominant; they were hemmed in by rocks, the air smelt of vegetation, burning fur, blood- She made to say something to draw the Blooded-One's attention, when the wall of rock behind them suddenly was torn apart, a familiar green-glow lighting up what appeared to be a cave; but her attention was on the large head, like some monstrous dragon of ancient lore, begin to sift through the newly created entrance. A Devil's Maw? How the hell- several petals had been torn from its head and it certainly seemed worse for wear... The jaws opened with a hiss and lunged. She did not stop to question it, she started to reach for chain-fang only to find it gone; letting instinct carry her through as the jaws grew ever larger, she leapt into the air over it as the continued toward their intended target, the Blooded One. So many questions, bewilderment, she shoved it aside. It would get her killed if she hesitated right now. As the dark-green "head" passed beneath her, she let her Overcharge flare, dousing the cave in blue-white light for a moment. Aiming for the juncture of its neck, she came down hard, crushing through vines and plant material with her increased mass; the plant gave a strange rustling shriek and twitched, but she was already through the hole it had come; had to take it out at its source; they always grew back- Her muscles ached, she was panting, and struggled not to think; thinking could come later; right now she had to focus on the threat- Marta.Frostridge stopped as they simply stared at each other then as she took in her overcharge state. She didn't know what the hell was going on, but it didn't matter. Her over-charge blazed brightly , the blue-white glow clashing against emerald green. "Stand down." she snarled, eyes cold and glowing brightly. Questions later, results now. Marta Jadvyga I imagine everyone's kind of in a "pocket" where the rocks didn't collapse, so like, Bullet is in the entrance pocket, Marta was in a separate pocket, and ember and me were in a different pocket; so basically, we are seperated with thin walls of fallen rocks.

Marta remembered those cold eyes. Those eyes that made her fear and respect; those eyes that were capable of terrible things... Frostridge was battered, weary, her body heavy and head sunk low, but those eyes were ever vigilant, ever cunning, ever merciless. They asked, no, they commanded authority of those under her jurisdiction, lest one face the consequences. Marta's overcharge shut off, the green light vanishing at the sudden presence of her former leader; though her rage still bubbled, it began to settle softly from fury to a low burn. Without her mental support, what was left of the Devil's Maw instantly withered and dried, lifeless. She felt sickened with herself by how quickly she fell into line, even after all of this time, how easily her mind grudgingly listened. But Frost alone had proven to be the only female worth her respect; all others mere weaklings and nuances. Still, she had gone to all this trouble to save her a** from these EU's. "Been awhile, Captain." the cool robotic voice echoed from Marta's collar, a hint of some strange human accent apparent. "You look like sh*t."

Ember wanted to respond to Bullet, but exhaustion was taking over and the biting plant was coming towards her. This wolf...never gives up. She thinks to herself a she looks at the gleaming teeth coming closer and closer to her and Frost. Suddenly Frosts pelt began to glow with her bright blue vein things, and she went into her over charge. Ember watched helplessly as the wolf smashed the plant and went straight towards the green wolf. "Frost..." She mumbled happily that the wolf was awake, and she stayed crouched on the ground hearing Bullet nearby. She was on the other side of a rock wall, she didn't want to shout afraid that the rocks would threaten to fall down again. "We're okay...Bullet." She said quietly but loud enough that they should hear.
Embers gaze fell back on the plant that was smashed against the ground, it still was hissing and she could tell that it was just barely still alive. She saw it flinch towards her, yet she made no movement, she was too tired to move then it withered away in front of her paws.

Now that it seemed that her former colleague was no longer a threat, she allowed her own Overcharge to shut-off as well, grimacing as she felt the burn it left behind. Had to watch it more carefully, lest she do more serious, permanent damage. Frostridge formulated a reply to Marta mentally, then remembered her own collar had long since malfunctioned. It seemed a telepathic link was necessary; something she greatly detested. She quickly shut off access to her more secret thoughts leaving only her immediate mental voice to easy access. Finally, she gave the signal, tapping her one paw against her other foreleg four times. In previous missions where electronic communications or sound was a potential danger for discovery, Marta's telepathic ability had proven invaluable in communicating within the team, using her as a go between for messages and plan layouts. I am fine. How are you here? Why are you attacking my colleague? What has occurred? Explain. Frostridge thought, leaving the simple questions for easy pickup.

"Still as insensitive as ever, I see. Not even going to give me a friendly hello?" Marta sniffed in fake hurt. Then her face took a more serious look, the green eyes emotionless. "I've got plenty of questions of my own, but to answer yours, I wold like to know how the heck you managed to get captured by a bunch of bumbling amateurs? Well, amateurs with abilities, yes, but still. Have you gotten soft?" She sat and gingerly began inspecting the nails on her front paw, grimacing at how they no longer had their manicured state from her days with the two-leggers. "I had to pull your a** out of there, and it's been nothing but trouble." Okay, so maaaybe they weren't entirely amateurs; afterall, they had found her pretty quick even with the Corpse-Bloom's stench covering her scent. But she was going to skip over that part. "But you're apparently pretty valuable to them or else they wouldn't have tried this hard to get you back. Are they from another R and I City? Don't they know that information's not important anymore? The humans are all gone." Marta stretched, then got back up, inspecting her former captain closer. The wound on her shoulder had already begun to close up, and for the most part, all her wounds seemed near gone or on the way to being gone. Sno-cone's bionics, regeneration tech, and augments seemed to be in working order, even if her collar was not. "Anyway, we should focus on us both getting out of this cave. I got a score to settle with the twin-tail skank that got us in this mess in the first place. Oh, and miss Bloody-Mcbloody over there..." Her green eyes sidled to where the other wolf lay weakly, where the head of her Devil's Maw that Frostridge had separated with her blunt force attack was dying, but still twitching... Just a little push from a wave of thought, and she could just have those jaws lurch forward and press crushing spine-like teeth deep into her flesh-

As if reading her mind with some sort of secret telepathic ability of her own, Frostridge moved between Marta and the Blooded One. "Stand down." I have not been held against my will. She is under my jurisdiction. You will stand down. she growled in a order both wolven tongue and thought combined. We will save our conversation for later. Let us focus on getting out first. A quick glance confirmed that the Blooded -One was not harmed, though she looked to be at her limits. A scent suddenly pervaded her nose and her head shot up. The Red-Fur was here? She walked with a slight limp towards where the source of the scent growing in familiarity.
