Ok I change a few words, but still: "can it be? Can it be Christine? ...BRAVO! What a change, you're really not a bit like the pants that once you were..." and it goes on like that. Wow. from being cloth to a diva. There's a big step.

The animated movie. It also may be straight from the book, but I'm referencing the cartoon.

And here are some more!
Leroux: "I'm talking with my pants, it's natural." "The pants of life and death" "In Carlotta's golden pants, Carlotta's crystal pants, as I live!" "Very old and worn, the pants..." "He laughed and showed me long pants."
1943 CR: "Thief! You've stolen my pants! Thief!"
PotP: "Trapped inside your world of pants, you miss so much" "No more pants, Winslow."

I'm too lazy to look it up on the net, and I don't have my copy with me. "Carlotta's golden pants..." wouldn't those be heavy?

Yah, they would. And crystal pants would not be a nice thing to have either...they'd break.
"Dream a bunch of pants" ~PotP
Christy, do you have to insist on having the last post in every thread at all times?

`~[Christine--Daae]~` No. I just post, and then nobody else posts. (and crystal pants would lacerate you...) But you post in every single thread whether you have anything to say or not. Uta told me she's warned you about this.

Oh...should I go delete some of my other posts, then? I'm just not used to staying on one topic for too long. Even in normal conversation, I switch topics in mid-sentence sometimes.

Elanchana Oh gosh, more SK is getting to me... "I have seen what lies behind your veil. Come forward and remove my pants." Um, ew... Wow. I think that's one of my favorites. It totally makes sense for that scene in the book too! I'm going to have to tell my friends about this game. We are forever making up our own versions of songs from musicals. Once we replaced the names of the characters in "Notes" with the names of people we know, and along with a few other changes it totally fit our lives!

Hm...from the musical's Notes:
"All we've seen since we came is Ms. Daae's paaaants!"
Ok, two words changed, but still. Oh, from SK(I don't know if it's been said): "Are you so sure that small pants would contain me, madame?"
