She looked around and sighed softly. Already was everyone gathering together and pairing up. Things were terribly confusing. She wasn't sure what to make of any of it. Except... She saw someone sulking. A girl of her size and maybe her age. She wasn't sure but a smile lit up her face and she clutched the orange soul gem softly. Taking a small moment to grab hold of her giant lollipop, she hurries over to the girl and smiles shyly.
"Hello.. I'm.. Alice! Yeah that sounds right. I think." Her brows furrow deeply before she holds her throbbing head.
"A-agh. Sorry... My head, but anyway!" She smiles brightly and leans in. Blinking with bright amber eyes. "Who are you? You're a reaper right? You talked to that weird thing too?"
She shifts softly and stares down at her lollipop. "Do you like sweets..?"

"Damn right I look- WAIT. WHAT YOU SAYIN KID?" Red in the face, Viridian "I eat bolt for breakfast! You challenging me? Huh? HUH? HUH!?"
Glaring, ready to shoot the other girl, she bit her lip, wondering. "...You alright." Crossbow lowered she smiled. "Yeah, you alright. I'm not in charge, but I can be. Provided I'm not leading a bunch of crybabies or twigs ya know?"
Looking around to the other girls. "Still don't know what happened. Maybe if we give some other kid a shake down for the s**t we can figure out what's going on."
Vera's head was splitting. Well, not literally but it sure as heck felt as if someone had taken an ax to her skull several times. Her eyes were skill shut but anyone watching her would see that the restless state she was in appeared to be coming to a close. With two slow breaths, the female opened her blue eyes and gazed up.
The voice seemed to come from nothing before it dawned on her to turn her head to the right. There was a shadowy creature gazing at her with a smile. "Who...what are you?" She gasped out quickly sitting up.
Bad idea as she felt the pain rush back through her skull.
"That's funny. I'm here to fight. Good joke. Now seriously, where am I?" With an expression that lacked amusement, Vera looked over as it continued to talk. Items about Fear, a balance, and a weapon? Now she was really confused.
"That's all fine and dandy but let's try making..." Before she could finish, Vera realized her hand was wrapped around something. Looking down, she noticed something coiled around her hand. Yet before she could say anything else, voices caught her ears.
"Wait...didn't you just say I was alone?" Vera asked looking for the shadow animal but found nothing. Instead, all she could see was that there were other females present. Only females present.
She couldn't do anything except follow along after Tamara brought her into the group of girls. Tilly didn't mind in the least however, they all looked to be nice and figuring out what was going on with a group of new friends was certainly better than figuring it out by herself. She gave a friendly smile as the other girl eyed her sword, Tilly tried to keep a non threatening stance but the weapon was an eye-catcher. "I'm Tilly, nice to meet you." she beamed at the group and then her eyes darkened as she struggled to find memories that no longer existed in her head. Shrugging it off she just leaned in to get a better look at everyone and asked. "Is anyone hurt?" It felt like an appropriate question at the moment.

Right about the same time as Etain was wandering hesitantly over towards the group of girls, a younger girl was waking up near her. Here goes nothing.
Hi there! You look as lost as me. I'm Etain by the way. She smiled sweetly at the girl.

She was beginning to really like Maria. Always on point and to the heart of the matter. "Too true, the who what where and whys are very important. We seem to have more of the who information at least." She nodded. Because they had names in the very least and the creature had explained a little bit of them. And the teenager could only imagine what addressing their weapons could unlock; maybe more of the who and where, they had to have them for a reason, right?
"I dunno," she replied holding the book at arm's length. "It's like super light in my hands so I don't think it would be super effective like your guys' but maybe spells," Tamara was also now on her list of likes. Look how smart she was! Maybe. Ridley still had to open the book, which she did, pulling it closer and lifting up the cover. It thankfully wasn't devoid of words like apparently someone else's but ... she couldn't really read it on first pass. It was like the words were all scrambled. "weird..."
At least someone else arrived to pull as a distraction. "Hi!"

"Fine, the cat-goblin-thing. I meant it more metaphorically, anyway." Now that she thought about it, she knew the word goblin, but was having trouble pinning down what it meant. Except that she didn't trust it. "It sure didn't tell us very much, did it? Do we even know if what it said is true?" She scowled, not liking the situation at all.
Name... the timid blond-haired girl had said something about a name to someone else. "So what's your name?" she asked, mostly directing it to the girl who'd spoken to her - and another who'd replied to it - but also opening it up sort of generally.
Magenta shook her head quickly. "No, no I don't know anything! Mr. Fluffy wouldn't tell me, I think he had more important things to do!" If it bothered Magenta that she'd been ignored, it didn't show.
"I'm excited to save everyone! I think we should do our best and fight with our hearts!"

The small form of an eleven year old was cast in the shadow of her lost memories, hanging under the form of an unknown creature. A small form with large eyes summed up both her and the companion that met her upon awakening. She didn't recognize this creature, nor did she recognize where she was at which caused her to shift uneasily under the weight of her companion's gaze, her arms squeezing close around to her body. Who was this creature? Why did it speak in such a friendly manner to her? She didn't know and she didn't know how to reply. Words were beyond comprehension when she was asked her how she felt.
Instead of her mouth opening to reply she felt this pressure in her chest, hanging just under the beat of her heart. She felt like she should be able to answer this question but she could only feel emptiness. How could she answer that question? It might have been a simple thing to do before but right now she couldn't remember what she had been doing prior to opening her eyes. She couldn't say for sure but it felt off and her hesitation and silence seemed to be answer enough, causing her companion to say four words that carried so much weight.
You don't remember anything? She had concerned about it when she opened her eyes but nothing more than a vague uncertainly. She hadn't really needed to think about it until the question was brought up but now that it was out there the reality facing her was grim. It wasn't something as simple as simply not knowing the creature in front of her. No, if only it had been something so simple. Instead she was slammed with the reality that she didn't remember anything. Nothing at all. She didn't know where she was, who this creature was, why she was here or even something as simple as how old she was. She could remember but one thing about her entire existence, her very existence herself. One thought was painted across her face as she weighed her options: My name is Meredith.
It was such a small thought, such a small hope in the darkness of her memory. There wasn't a thing she could do nothing about the creature so instead she simply nodded her head to it's question, signaling the creature to fill in the blanks of why she was here. Some of it was difficult to hear, and most of it she didn't understand but she tried her best to sit there and take it all in strides. Or at least she tried to the best she could to but by the end of it she was forcing back tears. She could be strong right? Was she strong? She didn't know and because of the lack of memory her will to do so was repressed. This wasn't what she hoped to hear, and she had gone from confused to frightened. She didn't understand why she would choose to fight. She wasn't a fighter, was she?
In the end. she didn't know what to do so she continued doing the only thing she currently knew how to: cry.
A voice... whispering to her... beckoning her. "Mmm..."
The girl slowly rose, blinking. What... was this? Where... was she?
Confused... Please... ...Fight?
Turning, she noticed a small object beside her. It was... pretty. Wait... this egg-shaped thing held her power? ...Fear?
< Ah, let me explain a little better. There are many kinds of Fear. There is kind, benign Fear, taken from Humans, to help our world. Then there is a terrible type of Fear that would take without considering the balance between Humans and Halloween. > < You have been chosen to restore this balance of course. Your weapon will help you do this. As a Reaper, skilled in using Fear in weapons, I'm sure you using this weapon is natural to you! >
Wea...weapon? By her foot, was a round sun-shaped object, and when she bent down to pick it up, she found it quite heavy, yet... familiar?
W-wait! I-
She suddenly found herself utterly alone, but then, there were voices, people, getting closer... louder... And then when she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by all sorts of girls around her age, each one wielding one of the egg-shaped objects and a weapon.
Around her voices were chattering away as if they were old friends. Some appeared to be at least making friends while one, curse her cheery nature at this moment, made Vera think she should be holding pom-poms. Why would anyone be so happy at a moment like this?
But before she could answer, another sound caused her to turn back. Behind her, a little girl had tears running down her eyes. It moved Vera in a way that made her sigh before pushing herself upward. Holding the chain whip in one hand, she walked to close the distance between herself and the child. "Best to cry now before something else happens." Vera whispered kneeling down before the girl. "Are you scared?"
Without waiting for an answer, Vera sighed. "I am."
Dimly, Tanith was aware there were other people there, or at least had some concept that there should be other people, considering the... thingy had referred to them in the plural. Which was all well and good: she would be happy to work with her fellow Guardians of Halloween...
You know, after she figured where her real weapon was hiding.
"Come on! Where are you...?" She wailed as she rifled through her bag. The stupid thing was empty -- or rather, as she shoved her hands as far as they could go, it felt like she was reaching through a void and would never reach the bottom. Groaning loudly in frustration, she flipped the bag over and upended it, shaking it violently. "I can't fight the forces of chaos with some dumb empty bag!!"
Tanith was so engrossed in her fruitless struggle that she hardly noticed the other girl approach until she spoke up. She had a soft, shy voice...
... Not that that stopped Tanith from jumping straight up in the air.
"Don't scare me like that!" She yelled, whirling to point accusingly at the other girl. Alice, she said her name was. Tanith took several deep breaths. There was no reason to panic, really: she looked harmless. Friendly, like the fuzzy thing. Tanith smoothed her frazzled nerves and returned her smile. "Yeah, that's what... he... she... it said. I'm Tanith. Guessing you're one of the other ones he was talking about, right?"
Alice's gaze drifted away, and Tanith followed her eyes until she caught sight of a... giant lollipop. Her cheeks puffed up, a snort flying obscenely from her pursed lips. "Hey, wait, wait... Wait. Is that your weapon?"
Not that she had much room to talk, but she felt marginally better about being saddled with a bag by comparison...

"I guess the nap was alright.. though it would have been better if we hadn't woken up here, where ever that is. Preferably with my memories intact, since I don't think that thing could have just conjured us from thin air in hopes of saving humans." Little creatures couldn't do that... could they?
She took a quick glance around, some what surprised at how many of them were there and pairing up. Granted, in battle it usually was a good thing to have some partners, so it couldn't hurt to try to do the same if there were others free and willing. "I'm Narcissa by the way. Do either of you have any better idea of what is going on... have I missed much of anything while being out of it?"
Kleio earned a blank stare and a slow nod from Thalia at her attempt to joke. Tails or wings... "I er, yes, I suppose so. I mean, considering that we can't remember anything at all, I'd say our whole existence is really just one big question mark right now." If there was anyone willing to listen, Thalia could talk all day about how this whole situation could have been some sort of government conspiracy but...no. Now didn't seem to be the time.
Joce earned another warm smile from the girl, and she crouched down a little so that she was closer to eye level with the shorter girl. "Thank you--your looking quite pretty yourself!" While now probably wasn't the best time to be complimenting each other and talking about their (admittedly strange) outfits, Thalia really was unsettled by the fact that such a young girl was present and expected to take part in this aforementioned "fight". And sure, she herself wasn't much older than Joce, but...still!
She stood by as she watched the others talk, shifting her weight from foot to foot as she ran a hand through her long hair and looked around. There wasn't really anything of interest beyond the fact that the place was full of girls dressed strangely and wielding weapons though. Frowning deepening, she gave a light shrug of her shoulders before turning back to look at those around her. "Honestly, at this point, I don't think there's anything we can do besides sit around and wait for...something to happen."
Now that Isabelle realized it, there was actually a lot more girls here than she thought. Which to be honest, as a little overwhelming when she didn't know a single soul here. Then again, that was a little of her own fault, considering she had kept to herself from the moment she woke up.
She needed to fix that.
Swallowing hard, she slowly scanned the area for someone she figured would be easiest to talk to. However, just when she thought she might have found that one person, she walked right into another.
"Oh! Sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going and--are you okay?" She asked, offering the other girl, who she had just bumped into, her hand.
