The explosion blew her over the crates, her shoulder taking the most damage ,being pulled out of place. Jennifer winced and grabbed her arm, she yanked it back into socket, just as Emilia took her next attack. Tex was able to block the first attack, but the second left a cut across her exposed skin , and slightly cutting into her dress. She rolled out of the way of the fireball. Tex pulled out one of her electrified batons. She jumped over the crate she was crouched behind and swung twice times at Emilia, once at the back ,and one aimed at the legs. The baton practically disappeared, and was replaced by her sword. She did a backflip away from Emilia ,gaining some distance. The Sergeant looked over to her Commander and gave him a small smile and wink, before turning her head back to Emilia within in moments. "How are you doing over there?" Jennifer said giving a slight chuckle Tex ran up and slashed at Emilia, before jumping up and back flipping away from her
In mid back flip she shot her pistol once aim at Emilia.

What is Life?
Emilia ducked when Jennifer aimed for her back, and used the hilt of her sword to jab her in the gut. "You don't listen to reason, heck you didn't even bother to hear what I had to say, you just pulled out your gun and started accusing me." Emilia snapped as she jumped. She watched how Jennifer backflipped away from her, and Emilia began to walk. She wasn't going to waste energy. "Oh? Is that the person who told you that I killed your men? Be honest... I'll have a word with him if you don't answer." Emilia said as she glared at Jin as she blocked the slash attack before responding with a slash of her own. Her sword was ready, and just when Tex was in her mid back flip Emilia threw a fire grenade trap where she was about to land, and a fire ball while she was still in the air. She took the shot, which was lucking since it almost got her heart, but she didn't care. She wanted Jennifer dead.

When she landed her feet barely missed the trap. The Sergeant was hit with the fireball in the arm. She snarled and winced grabbing her arm. " You don't understand..... I was demanded to do this" Jennifer hissed Tex Grabbed ahold of her sword and jumped off the crate. She raised her arms and swung down, slashing at Emilia. Tex began rapidly swinging her sword trying to hit Emilia.

Jin narrowed his eyes on Mari as she summoned Droplet "Focus more on this fight girl, you have enough to deal with right here..." he explained to her, before seeing Mari run at him. When she kicked him in the shin, the man didn't budge, he just grimaced "Seriously?" he muttered. When Blaze was summoned, the man finally drew his sword "Finally..." when a whirlwind og fire was sent to him, Jin seemed to change strategies. Before, he had simply dodged attacks over and over again, this time he stood still. The man suddenly began to slash at the fire, this would be a stupid move for anybody. But suddenly, the man kept slashing, over and over and over again, until his slashes just became blurs. He must have slashed thousands of times in the mere seconds the fire got close to him. But his slashes actually formed a defense in front of him, with the fire going around him. The man had literally just slashed through fire. Afterwards, the man sheathed his sword once again "Are you done yet?"

Jin narrowed his eyes as he saw the earth crumble "Have you not learned anything?" he muttered in an annoyed tone. The man suddenly did a U-shaped dash away from the crumbling earth and Blaze's attack "I'm too fast for your attacks... you're slow... and your use of sprites only makes it easier to fight you. I was specifically trained to kill those who use magic... the more you rely on your magic, the easier it will be to kill you."

"You had a choice... Could have looked at things carefully, but you didn't... Don't blame me for killing you... Unless it was intended for a bigger plan." Emilia said as she looked back at Jin. She didn't like the look on that guy and she had a sixth sense for detecting jerks. Emilia barely caught Jennifer in time to block the downward slash, and did her best blocking the attacks, only with a few nicks on her arms before she just hit the sword out of Jennifer's hand and then stabbed foreward, aiming for the heart. "MARI! GET OUT OF THERE! HEAD FOR THE SHIP!" Emilia shouted when she did her move.

Jin immediately pit his hand on his blade to draw it when Mari spoke, but as he heard her, he began to move his hand away from his sword. The man had a blissful, small, smile on his face "You are different... I admit that. But I swore vengeance on Magic and the Heroes already... you've done nothing but destroy my life... even when I was on your side..." he told her "I hate Heroes you see... you're above the law... always have been.... you answer to no one... even with your immense power. That is why I'm doing the world a favor by becoming your enemy... but..." Jin turned to Emilia, in time to see Emilia stab towards Jennifer's heart "Tex!" he yelled, drawing his blade "You b***h!" he continued, glaring at Emilia.

Her eyes widened as she felt Emilia's blade pierce into her chest. The sword barely slashed the side of her heart. Tex gasped in pain, as her fingers loosened their grip on the gun, the metal banging on the ground. She quickly wrapped her hands around the blade that was sticking from her body, and tore it away. Jennifer winced as her legs gave out, causing her to collapse, she pressed one hand to her chest and held the other red stained palm to Jin as she fell. Tex laid on the concrete ,coughing as the sticky red fluid began filling her mouth, her eyes beginning to water as she looked up to her Commander.

Jin narrowed his eyes at Mari as she left "..." he said nothing and did nothing as she began to leave with Emilia. Jin turned his attention to his soldier who was slowly dying before him "I'm sorry sergeant... I should have known better than to get you involved... your blood is on my hands..." he muttered to her, he grabbed the hilt of his sword, his grip tightening around it. The man looked up at the sky "I'll kill every Hero... man, woman, and child..."

She choked, a few tears escaping from the corners of her eyes. before she began to cough more violently. The dying girl held her hand up to her Commander, her blue eyes quickly loosing their color. Jennifer's breathing quickly became harder as she struggled to keep oxygen in her lungs. "I...I Lo" Tex tried to choke out as air rushed from her lungs. Tex's eyes started to haze over turning a foggy color as she looked up at Jin. The Sergeant's body went limp as her last breath slowly crawled past her lips.

Jin narrowed his eyes on Jennifer "Rest Tex... I will finish the job..." the man muttered. Jin tore of his insignia and rank from his uniform and left it on Jennifer "I never did tell you the full truth... I quit the Paragon Military when they chose the Heroes' side... they are just as corrupt and evil as the enemy..." he spoke, turning away from Jennifer and walking away from her.
