Yeah. Typhlosion's been my favorite of the fire types. Fennekin looks cool, but we'll see how he stacks against my buddy Blaze. I'm really hoping for something other than Fire/Fighting, though. One time, cool. Two times, eh. 3 times, wtf?

Beats just 1 water/steel. Congratulations your water type is now weak to fire attacks. I personally prefer Venasaur myself.

Doesn't make it weak, just losses its resistance to fire so it does normal. But it also gains a bit of defense against grass. And it learns metal claw, despite not having claws, or hands for that matter...I never really dealt with Venasaur. Never been much of a grass type lover, but I did love Lileep and I do love Leafeon. Also, my Leafeon has Sunny day and my Typhlosion has Solar beam.

Yeah, but it still seems to defeat the purpose of a water type, to me.
Venasaur is kinda like a happy medium between Blastoise who specializes in defense and Charizard who does so in offense. It also has a wide array of different types of techniques it could learn that can be fairly troublesome to most opponents.
Neat! My Leafeon knows Aqua Jet....I like the whole breeding process.

XD Never thought of that. Mine knows Dig and Leaf Blade, as well as sunny day and synthesis.

Yeah, the only major disadvantage to Bulbasaur as a starter is that if you're lazy you can walk through the first two gyms with ease.
That's a pretty crafty combination of moves there.

Charmander ends up having some difficulty in the early gyms, but special seems to be the saving grace to dealing damage to the rock types, but a completely different strategy is needed against Misty.

Yeah, pretty much. But that is why we can catch other pokemon. (like Pidgey)

Or randomly obtain them. (Eevee)

Gotta love that one!
Or through trading for them, though in my opinion you kinda get ripped off in a lot of those ingame trades.

My friend and I bred Eevee's in Soul Silver. He uses his platinum he had at the time to get us both Glaceon and Leafeon. I ended up having the only female of the 12 we bred total.

A litter of adorable pups!
I usually had to hope for a female Eevee and hope to have another pokemon that would breed with it.

Pending on the game, I'd pick an evolution at random or I'd just give it an everstone and keep it an eevee.

I have all 7 evo's in Soul Silver XD I only really use Umbreon, Glaceon, and Leafeon, though. Might use others, since I'm finding Espeon is a fast little crap with a lot of power.

In Black...or did I get White...well whichever, in it I have 1 of each of them and I primarily use, Glaceon, Leafeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Espeon, and Umbreon.

And Eevee, but I just didn't like putting Eevee in battle. As for Vaporeon, I just didn't have an in battle use for it, since anything water is good against, so is grass. Although I did switch it out with Flareon every now and then when going to area's I had to surf to get to.
