The Druddigon wasn't that stupid however, nor entirely consumed by it's natural rage. The second it realized that attack was going to hit both it's maw and it's eyes would clamp shut, wings dropping and causing it to fall heavily to the ground as wind sliced up it's face. Blood splattered the floor, but still the Druddigon held strong. He wasn't going down like the Axew, not without leaving a very permanent mark. For now though, backed in to a corner, the dragon would curl his tail, raising his thorny arms and folding his jagged wings over his body. A simple defence but it didn't leave many openings.
THe pain, but she wasn't done yet ...neither of them were ....as Aella would smirk as she saw the pokemon hit the ground. It was good, the room wasn't big enough for him to really take off or jump like he had. Though she wasn't done yet, with him falling there was openings everywhere, and Aella couldn't pass it up.
Despite the fact that she was terrifyingly tired. She hadn't stop attacking this entire time, and now wasn't the time as she looks over at her trainer.
"You know what to do."
Victoria would twist hard as she sent down another shaft of powerful wind ...as the attack would once arch to him him.
(Go down ...why don't you?)
They were pushing it hard.

"GYROOAAAAAR!!!" The Druddigon bellowed, his eyes seeing only red as he began to wildly and angrily thrash about, splintering furniture and tearing up anything else that got in his way. The motions were too haphazard to be called an attack, rather it was more like a child's temper tantrum...yet with so many claws and thorns it would certainly make anyone nervous about getting closer!
Sweat glisten on her fur .....as the hit connected, but the pokemon was still standing. They were hitting over and over and over, but it wasn't going down. THus was the power of dragon type ...as Victoria would smile deeply at it all.
"Don't give up."
Aella was tired ....too tired as she would aim to fire another Air Slash. THey were getting closer, closer to finally winning this one. She would send it downwards at him. A move to finally flatten the pokemon hopefully. To end this so she could finally rest.
"GYYYROOO---" With that last attack the Druddigon's ragging cry would be cut short, his body suddenly topping, striking the floor with a final and fatal thud. There would be no words from the Pokemon's Trainer. Instead the man would simple, gracefully, step forward and with two fingers close the Druddigon's rapidly clouding eyes; after which he would offer a small, wordless prayer, scattering several coins around the body before departing the room. Apparently it was checkout time.
Victoria would raise her arm once ....as Aella would land on it heavily. She was panting hard as the girl would pick up the coins before walking over to the body.
A dragon type.
She needed a dragon type.
But she had killed it, and the trainer.
"Damn it, we pushed to hard."
Aella was panting and just looked at her trainer with tired eyes as the girl would reach over and pat her head.
"I pushed too hard ...you did great."
She would restate her words. Her pokemon wasn't to be blame for this death, she was. She should have changed attacks, kept it alive, she wanted a pokemon like that ...but now ...now it wasn't possible.
Though Aella had grown stronger as a result. She was constantly growing ...stronger and stronger. She would feel it go through her ....the wish to gain another move ...Charge. She saw the look in her pokemon's eyes, charging would give her more power ...it would increase her lowest stats with was her Sp. Def.
It was a double edge power boost, because it would double an attack like thundershock. It seemed perfect especially considering that she hardly used Charm, but, Charm had been their attack so long, and she still used it outside of battle at times.
"Let's leave you the same."
Aella wouldn't argue as she snuggle close to the ground and them closed her eyes. Victoria wouldn't be using her in another battle so soon as she drops one hand against the side of the defeated dragon.
"Sorry ...rest well."
There was a moment of thought, she wondered, but this pokemon didn't evolve. Could she save a life by trying to evolve it? Could she restore this pokemon to use as her own?
She thought about it for only a few moments before she turn and left the room as well.
No.
It wasn't that simple.
She needed to find it ....Sacred Ash ...if she wanted Torrent back. And this place didn't have it.

"Since you are out of the fights for now ...let me pick a pokemon type that would be beneficial for my group to take on."
Victoria would declare to Aella. THe flying squirrel would smile as she nods her thanks. She was more than happy to sit it out ....as her tail hung down Victoria's shoulder.
The girl would then head to the room of fire. She hadn't dealt with those types for a while, and she smirk as she thought of a certain fire trainer. Though it wouldn't be Raven, afterall, he had never battle her with his charmander. It was always that giant of a pokemon Steelix that she ended up going against.
What Victoria encountered next likely would not match her expectations. From the moment she entered the room she'd feel a hot blast of air, enough to make her mouth run dry simply from inhaling. Seemed like the occupant had not only turned the air-conditioner off, but turned on a portable heater now sitting in the corner! The trainer staying in this room however was even stranger than his choice in temperature. With a bare well toned abdomen the man wore large, baggy, and somewhat squarish pants with tattered edges. His arms were covered by similarly baggy and blockish sleeves, held up by two straps running across his back and a thin red string in front. His hair was wild and unkempt, brown in colour and kept long. Most obscure was the fact that his face was covered by a wooden mask, and perched atop it was a live Torchic!
"HAAAAAHHAAAHAHAHAHA!" Eyes glinting behind the mask, the trainer abruptly began to laugh "A challenger at last! Our battle shall be glorious!" He declared, thrusting out an arm and pointing at Victoria, the Torchic dashing down to his wrist. "MY NAME IS MARCUS! PREPARE TO GO DOWN IN FLAMES!"
[FIRE DANCER MARCUS HAS CHALLENGED YOU TO BATTLE!]

The girl wouldn't even sweat it as she would release her own water type as the Quaqsire would appear and with just one pointed fingers she would aim her in the direction of the room.
"Cool it down, use water gun."
She would call out to Salacia as the pokemon comply for once. It was a bit of a relief to see that she was actually listening as the water type would flop back on her own rear end after wetting up the walls.
"If you want to bring the heat ...I am going to bring the rain. Let's go."
Victoria would declare with a wink to the man as Salacia's tongue would hang out in a way that said she didn't have a care in the world.

"Hoo haa! Not even water can dowse the flames of our passion!!!" Marcus exclaimed in the wake of the Quagsire's attack, the walls beginning to exude steam as the temperature seemed to rise rather than fall His Torchic leaping off his arm the man would suddenly produce a baton from each sleeve, raising them high and setting them alight with flaming breath. "GO GO GO GORORORORORO!!" The man chanted almost rhythmically as he began to twirl the now flaming rods in a series of simple but exceptionally swift patterns.
Bobbing his head the little flame chicken would dash forward, relying on his superior speed to close the gap between himself and the Quagsire as he leaped in to the air with a mighty ">WAACHAAAW!<" Leg out, claws at the ready, the attack seemed simple and clear...until the limb burst into a cloud of black flame...no...shadow! Of all things Salacia was about to meet a Nightslash head on!
Unless Victoria was able to think quickly, cause Arcues knew the Quagsire wasn't going to.
She would call out. It wasn't an attack, but it was a new way to deflect an attack that the girl had come up with. Victoria would have the pokemon literally spin like a top as she would send her tail out straight to hopefully bat the pokemon away without taking any damage. Because, this was a first time ...usage there was a good chance it would fail, but, the girl figured it hurt nothing to try.
Nothing at all.
So, she would wait to see if her pokemon could indeed pull off the trick.

Hurt nothing was likely quite the understatement. Although the Quagsire's thickly built and squishy body would halt some of the impact, it would do nothing to save her from the Torchic's claws. A flash of shadow would slice across her side, rending her supple flesh as Goro landing upon the ground. Looking back the Fire-Type would give a clack of his beak, the sound almost resembling a confident 'Hmph'. The crest of feather's upon his head fanning out slightly the Torchic's eyes would narrow, not another sound passing his beak as he darted forward, leaping toward a shelf, kicking off, and proceeding to dart and flip around the room. Unlike the Quagsire he presented a much more compact, swift target...and he wasn't about to make it easy for Salacia to keep eyes on him!
Victoria would declare only moments before she was quite literally splashed in the face with a Water gun. Salacia wasn't the one to normally do a lot of talking, but she made one thing clear ...she wasn't happy with that last command.
As she turn her attentions on the moving fire type as Victoria screamed and started to shake the water out literally. It wasn't like the water was cold and where it came from ...was really gross as the Quagsire would point ...aim and shoot.
(I don't have time for this)
The water type would declare sounding more than a little pissed at the situation.

Caught mid-air the Torchic would be blasted across the room, slamming in to the wall opposite Salacia. Steam rose from the bird's body as he slid to the floor, but although Goro still had plenty of fire left in him it was plenty clear the bird wouldn't be continuing this battle!
Still as Marcus recalled his Pokemon it was clear he was far from done. Spinning sharply and tossing one of his batons in to the air a PokeBall would fly free from his sleeve and in to his palm "When darkness falls the hero arrives!" The fire dancer announced, tossing the ball, spinning, and then catching his baton "Go my strongest flame, El Fuerte!"
The moment that name was called the ball would burst upon, a high pitched squeal accompanying the flash of light as their next opponent appeared. The wood of the bed from creaked as the Pokemon's rotund body appeared, both arms raised above his head, hands clasped, shaking back and forth as if to greet a crowd. ">Prepare yourself amiga, today you learn that none stand before the might of El Fuerte!<" With this declaration the Pignite would leap backward, landing upon the bed butt first and bouncing back in to the air. After a surprisingly agile somersault the Fighting-Type would square his shoulders, reposition his arms, and lock his elbows in to place. He was going for a Body Slam from the top rope!...minus the rope.
