Makoto had wandered into this booth out of pure loss of direction. Despite the demons all-knowing nature, he couldn't tell west from east or left from right unless someone was physically directing him, and even then, he'd probably find a way to get thrown off course.

Still, the booth looked amusing in a rather violent way (it seemed that Makoto was finding a lot of those), and thus the Inugami stayed, his long tail furling back and forth in contemplation at the game mechanics before he picked up a hammer and adjusted it in his hands.

"Hmm."

He lifted it and swung, though one ear swiveled in a certain fiery girls direction.

"Ah." Makoto glanced at Danny, momentarily caught off guard. "You are - "

... He didn't remember her name.

Danny whacked one more poof and then turned to the person addressing her. Unfortunately, she turned mid-whack, so the mallet went flying out of her hand, and straight into his face

As Moriko finished up her game, she made note of her prizes. She then proceeded to make her way over to the booth owner. "Looks like I might have won a few items?" She told him as she cashed in her prizes.

A foxfire popped up, and since Danny was mallet-less (oops), she whacked it with a fist. The machine seemed to accept that as a hit, and Danny wasn't about to protest. She was a champ!

"Wait uh. You remember me? 'Cause I don't remember you ..." She put her hand on her chin trying to think about where she'd seen him. It only dawned on her THEN that she'd hit him. "Oh gosh I'm really sorry. You okay?"

"Apart from brain trauma, I imagine I'll be fine." Makoto drawled from his position on the ground. "You wouldn't. I know your family." He made a noise in the back of his throat, as though that didn't really seem right. "My family knows your family. Something like that."

He lifted himself gingerly to his feet, and when a foxfire popped up from one of the holes, he took from Danny's lead and simply whacked it with a fist.

Jack damn flame demon and his stupid bratty temper. Just WHY did she have to run into him? OF ALL the students. He... he... UGH!
She had nearly stormed past the booth when some boil jumped in front of her, making her gasp.

What...
WHAT IN THE JACK'S NAME WAS HE WEAR-

She didn't have time to finish her horrified look before she was dragged over to the booth, the boil chattering away about hitting stuff and releasing anger and she really didn't care, just let her go and CHANGE YOUR SHIRT, OR TIE and-
wait. Hitting stuff? Well, she was kind of pissed off right now, and-

A rubber mallet was shoved into her hand and she was pushed towards the booth.
... Poofs? Well, he said they weren't real, and she did want to hit something so... why not?

As a poof popped up, she smacked down at it, instantly feeling some tension release.
Hmm, maybe this wasn't so bad.

Business relations.

"Um that's neat I guess ... you uh ... yeah ... That's cool," Danny stuttered, kicking at the dirt. When it came to her family's status and wealth, Danny had absolutely nothing to say. She was the kid that didn't do anything and stayed that way forever, sort of drifting with no direction at all until someone shoved her in another way.

An awkward silence passed and Danny said, "WELL ... I guess uh ... So how are you?"

Moriko had giggled at the results of the compatability test. "Well then, that was certainly amusing. Maybe we can be friends after all. Sophie's a friend of mine. She makes really beautiful dresses. I'll have to show you some time." She paused a moment at the whack a poof booth again. It seemed that she could try several times so maybe she'd give it a shot again.
