Starlight: *sitting, staring up at the sky, breath visible as steam in the cold night air*

Sarah: Is out for a midnight stroll wandering aimlessly*

Starlight: *blows out a puff of air and watches it turn into visible vapor* Duuuuude.

Sarah: hears something and turns to the noise* Hmmm?

Starlight: *looks over at the female* It's like, totally amazing. I mean with the cold, and all, it like, makes things you can't see totally visible, ya know? *blows some more vapor out* Awwwwesome.

Jinx: ((I want it noted in advance that I warned you he was going to be weird XD))

Lisa: ((sounds like a stoner >_< sorry))

Sarah: gives a kind smiles* Yes the cold weather does have its perks. I used to do that when I was small because it was so entertaining.

Jinx: ((XD Yea, that's how I mentally hear his voice too. He's not, he's just really.......yeeeeeea.))

Starlight: *blows out another puff of air* Duuude. I'm an adult, and I still find it entertaining. *grins, taps his chest* Heart of a child. Makes life, just, you know, less...*pauses, trying to find the word he want*...you know, adult. More wonder in things man, more appreciation of the wonder.

Jinx: ((*facepalms*))

Sarah: I think your looking for the words strict or dreary(sp) but yes I get what your meaning. I havent done that but every once in awhile i talk my brother into a snow ball fight. He says I cheat but I don't think I do

Starlight: *chuckles* That's no cheating, that's just pulling off a daring surprise and being awesome enough to get away with it. The people who call it cheating totally need more zen in their lives so they can appreciate the awesomeness. No use gettin' all riled up when you can be enjoying life.

Sarah: smiles* why thank you. He thinks Im cheating cause as you can tell I am mostly white but I am also transparent. He is black and transparent and tends to stick out like a sore thumb in the snow.

Starlight: Yin to yang babe, ain't no fault you got the sun workin' on your side. He's fighting the elements, all chaos. Talk with the shadows and the night, find his center, and he will totally be one with the snowball.

Sarah: He is very much fighting his element which it is funny. Though I have yet to figure out if he knws that or not.

Starlight: Probably doesn't, cause, like, when you're fighting with your element you totally don't know. It's when you realize that you start to find you inner harmony, and then life is just so much easier to enjoy.

Sarah: I think I am more in Harmony with my element compared to him but he is perfectly harmonized with me. He is a big grumpy mr. bitey pants.

Starlight: 'S totally cool man. For some people, grumpy is their chill. It's like, just one of the many spices of life, you know?

Sarah: smiles and nods* Though I don't think he would like the idea of how he is being normal. *holds out her paw* I'm Sarah.

Lisa: (( I like his name its cute))

Jinx: ((lol Thanks. I kept trying to look for something with a meaning to it, then I realized he's the weird kind who'd have his name say it all without any hidden meaning. Thus he is dubbed Starlight Starbright XD))

Starlight: Man, it takes all kinds. This world would be one boring curry pot if it was only one flavor, ya know? *fistbumps the offered paw* I'm Starlight. Starlight Starbright. You can call me Star, if you're into shorter names. But hey man, don't let me harsh your creative flow. If you're feelin' a name that you feel just like, fits, you go ahead and call me that.

Lisa: ((he makes me laugh i love it. Sarah likes him to she is grinning in my head))

Sarah: Oh I'm sure I'll come up with something for you but in the mean time I'll take your advice and call you Star or Starlight though I must say I really do like Starlight. Your name is very.. uplifting brightnening lightening. Things that I enjoy.

Starlight: *grins* Right on, little Yang Snowball, you totally get my message to the world. *laughs, flicks his braid out of his face* My zen totally throws people off. They're always asking me about stones, and I gotta tell 'em, "No man, it's stars." Apparently it's really confusing, cause I get a lot of blank looks. And not like, "Whoa, mind blown," blank, it's more like the, "Dude, I ain't pickin' up what you're puttin' down" blank.

Sarah: giggles* I like that nickname maybe we will play in the snow some time? Yes I do seem to pick up your flow though I do understand theirs. Question is do you and if not would you like me to explain or would your rather be in ignorance bliss?

Starlight: *tilts his head* I'm just too zen for the world, man. It's like, we all gotta be judgmental these days and they just can't' handle my kind of chill. *shakes his head* It's like, total bummer, you know, but it's all good. I go with the flow and keep the currents from gettin' too bumpy when things ain't lookin' right, ya feel me? *blows another puff of air in the sky* Snow ain't too far off now, just cruisin' and goin' with the wind from Old Man North. We should totally chill in the chill once it gets here.

Sarah: blows out a breath and moves her head so that her breath curls around itself as it floats up into the air* Yeah Mr. Freeze is on his way and I cant wait. Even though it is so cold the snow is so worth it. Maybe one day everyone will just relax and let things be. Maybe not so judgmental.

Starlight: *grins* Keep the dream alive, yea. Wishin', wishin' upon a star. *laughs* All the stars man, you ever wonder how many wishes all those things have seen? Lookin' up at the sky that's seen it all.

Sarah: took a seat next to him and gazed up at the billion of stars that streatched out acrossed the sky* I'm sure they have seen triple their number but I wonder has any of the wishes ever come true?

Starlight: *looks up at the sky too, expression serious* I got no doubts. Stars, they'll grant you your wishes. Trouble is, people are bad at wishin' for what they need. You go gettin' greedy, wishin' for stuff you only want, you ain't gotta get it in the way you wanted. That's the stars way of tellin' you, stuff you want, it's only worth it cause you went out and got it yourself.

Sarah: wanders out ducking her head against the wind*

Lisa: ((btw you know she is fully transparent yea?))

Jinx: ((Nope, thought she was only transparent in a couple places. And stuff some snow down his shirt and run for it. 50/50 shot he'll chase you for revenge. Otherwise he'll probably sit there and whine about it XD))

Starlight: *sitting and facing directly into the wind, his mowhawk plastered flat to his skull and braid fluttering around wildly*

Sarah: is walking against the wind and squinting trying to see where she is going* Goodness the weather is in an uproar today.

Starlight: *since he's facing the wind directly ears are filled with a dull roaring; unable to hear a word Sarah said, but a bit of her voice reached his ears; turns his head a little* Heeeeey, it's the little Yang Snowball! 'Sup girlie?

Sarah: Glances up still with squinting eyes. Can see a black out line with rainbow colors till his voice hits her ears and smiles* Hey Star. And not much I thought to go adventruing today but the wind has made it pretty hard to walk.

Starlight: *reaches out and pats Sarah's shoulder* That's cause you're fightin' the wind. You got it in your mind that this is some kind of challenge that you must overcome in order to have a good time, rather than makin' a good time out of the situation. *grins* You try to hard little Snowball, the best adventures appear when you're not even looking for 'em.

Sarah: Playfully stuck out her tongue when he mentioned that she was trying to hard. It was something that she did* Yeah but I bet that is why I have stumbled acrossed you again oh wise Star watcher.

Starlight: *laughs* Not a star-watcher tonight. Gonna be clouds comin' in and doin' their cloud thing. I was thinkin' I might be more of a wind dancer, ya know, while I still got some sunlight to see by. Totally fun dancin' in the dark when you got a full moon, but not so cool when you can't see the ground and hurt yourself, ya know?

Sarah: Yeah I would imagen it would be a lot harder to dance in the dark than it is in the sun unless you know the area and ground insanely well.

Starlight: Even then, ya gotta be careful. It's like, cool if you want to have fun, but accidents happen. Like, even when you can see where you're going you can slip up. It's even easier to misjudge in darkness, ya know? *shakes out his starry fur, which is promptly flattened to him again by the wind* Ya ever do a wind dance, little Yang?

Sarah: No I can't say I have though than again the idea has never occured to me till now.

Starlight: It's easy, it's easy, watch. *stands still for a bit, then slow starts moving his legs, then his body; it looks a little like he's being blown about by the wind as he moves around with it, but the wild energy and fun radiating from the movements give it a sense of grace rather than chaos*

Sarah: Sits back and watches his every move so that she will be able to understand and than perhaphs duplicate it*

Starlight: *finally comes to a stop, fur looking distinctly worse for wear; has to trot back up to Sarah since was dancing in the direction the wind was blowing, makes a weaving path back up to the female* You see. You just, totally let the wind help you move. Just feel the flow, and go with it.

Sarah: Lets out a giggle* So litterely we are to be going with the flow and where ever the wind blows or pushes us we go.

Starlight: *nods* Totally. You just, let it guide you, you know? Work with it, but don't let it push you around too much. *chuckles* You don't want it shovin' you places you really don't want to be goin', but there's not much to worry about around here.

Sarah: Yeah being shoved into a river or something at the moment really doesn't sound appealing. Though... I suppose I could give it a shot.* she took a breath before steppeing away and made her muscels slowly relax instead of being stiff and resisting the wind. As they relaxed her body began to genly move with the wind*

Starlight: *nods, smiling as he watches Sarah dance* Totally rad, little Snowball, totally rad. *starts dancing around with her, making sure not to run into her*

Sarah:*smiles and dances with Star in the wind* This is fun.

Starlight: *grins* It totally is. Freedom and goin' with the flow. It's the best feeling in the world.

Sarah: *dances around him* Is this your second favorite thing to do?

Starlight: I don't like to classify favorites, you know? Puts too much expectations on things, limits them, you feelin' me? Like, if I have it I enjoy it, but I don't give it a rank cause it, like, spoils the enjoyment of other activities.

Sarah: Alright howa bout things that you enjoy to do more?

Starlight: Don't have that either. I enjoy all things equally, just chillin' and takin' what life sends my way as it comes with equal amounts of enjoyment for all. Life sends what it sends, you set yourself up for sadness if ya keep expecting specifics.

Sarah: Ah I see. Your very much an equal opprotunites sorta speak.

Starlight: Right on, little Yang, right on. You enjoy life more that way, appreciating what you have now instead of yearning for something that might not come. *does a complicated little spinning motion with the wind, grinning* Gotta learn to love what you have while you have it, ya know?

Sarah: Smiled* Alright I get you*jumps atfter him* We should play tag while dancing in the wind.

Starlight: *laughs* I like your mind, miss Yang. Totally working with the flow and making the most of what you got! *twirls close and taps her shoulder, then gracefully twirls away*

Sarah: Pounces after him and tries to tag his foot*

Starlight: *bobbing around on the wind as erratically as a leaf; doesn't seem to be actually trying to avoid Sarah on purpose, but is doing a very good job of doing so*

Sarah: Sits and waits watching him closely*

Starlight: *still dancing around, having quite a time with you* You're trying too hard again, Snowball. Ya can't figure out the wind by looking, you gotta feel it.

Sarah: Launches herself into the air while aiming for him*

Starlight: *does a twirling leap up into the air, launching himself backwards at the same time*

Sarah: gently swipes at him barely hitting grazing his fur*

Starlight: *grins while he dances away from Sarah, feels his way into the wind and makes a roundabout circling motion towards her*

Sarah: Lets out a slight frustrated huff*

Starlight: *laughs, continues dancing around Sarah in a way that doesn't look like he's going directly towards her, dancing closer then moving away and repeating the pattern, circling and weaving every which way*

Sarah: *shots him a frustarted glare and waits knowing eventually he will get closer; dances his way and tags his leg*

Starlight: *chuckles again but his dancing pattern doesn't change, continues a very odd circling and weaving movement around Sarah*

Sarah: Sticks her tongue out at him* I got you I win*says with a smile*

Starlight: You sure the game's over? Pretty sure it lasts longer than a single tag per player, though guess, you know, it kinda depends on the number of players and current situation

Sarah: Well you are right but that was my own personal little victory. We can continue I don't mind though it is more fun with more people.

Starlight: *chuckles* I'll take your word for it, I never played with game with more than two people at a time. *suddenly changes his pattern, going from swooping and wheeling to a straight pounce*

Sarah: Leaps away and keeping her body close to the ground*

Star: -Sitting in the common meeting room, having found his way there by chance. He sat on his haunches, rainbow mohawk a tad ruffled with a short braid swinging by his cheek. He appeared to be staring off into nothing, though with him it was hard to tell for sure.-

Eke: - buzzes in, flitting from one place to the next, ignoring the stares from other noodles. She notices Star sitting there, staring off into nothing, and races over. - Hi! Hey! Hello there! I'm Eke, ya know? You seem a lil' distracted. - sits down without invitation - Tell me what's on your mind!

Star: -Responds without looking at Eke, his voice a little slurred like he's stoned, though that's just how his voice is; he'd completely sober.- Like, duuuude. The wall man, it keeps changing. It's like, if you focus your mind, you can change this place. Like it's all a figment of the imagination, you know? But it feels so real! Totally chillawesome, dude.

Eke: - Her wings buzz quickly. -I am not a dude, I am a-a female. Yes, female . . . dude? Are you a dude? - Stares at the wall for a moment, confused, then smiles brightly. - So-so if I want it to be flowers, will it be flowers? Pretty, flowers are pretty, and tastey, and yum!

Star: -Chuckles and finally looks away from the wall and directly at Eke.- Dude can be used for all genders. It's like, able to be used in a neutral way. I never assume, cause just cause the body is one thing doesn't mean the spirit is another, you know? Totally no offense meant. I can call you dudette, if you want a female acknowledgement. -Looks back at the wall, a small smile playing on his lips.- I totally bet if we concentrate, we can make a wall of flowers. I prefer to look at flowers over eat them, but honeysuckle can taste totally awesome.

Eke: Oh? Oh! Oh, okay. - nods frantically - Dudette sounds nice. Call me Dudette! Yes! - completely lost philosophically, and blinks, then a look of determination crosses her features and she turns to the wall and stares without blinking at it. She looks frustrated after only a few seconds, and then moves to the wall and presses her nose against it. - But-but why didn't it turn into a flower? Pretty flowers, pretty flowers?

Star: -Walks forward and pats Eke comfortingly on the shoulder.- You probably tried too big and too hard. It's like you gotta focus, you know, but there's such a thing as too much focus. Try to do too much and all your focus can't cover it all, or just shatters. Just get to a zen mode and let you mind be free, and things happen as they will. -Gives the wall another unfocused look. Slowly the texture changes, like rough brick, and a cluster of honeysuckle vines appear on it. He blinked, then smiled at the result.- Totally awesome, how this room can change depending on the ones in it.

Eke: - If it's even possible, she's even more lost now. - So I cannot eat the pretty flowers? I must con-cen-trate to eat the pretty flowers? Hm . . . I will try this fo-cus-ing, then. - She most defnitely did not want the flowers to shatter before she could eat them. She was feeling a bit hungry. She turned back to the wall and tried to master this "zen" thing he spoke of, but she was a bee, and this was a difficult process. She would blank, and then come back when a fly passed her sight. - I do not think I can do this fo-cus-ing. - She shook her head sadly. Perhaps there were more flowers? - Teach me this "zen mode" thing you were speaking of?

Star: Zen is a state of the mind. It's like, you sit and watch something and your body's all chill and relaxed but still, you know, and you just let your mind focus and unfocus at the same time. You don't force something to become, you let what it is enter your mind and work itself out and the realization just comes to you. It's like, totally a peaceful experience. -Looks around at the room with a kind of spacey interest.- I bet if you just zen enough in here, the whole room could become somewhere you've been and know.

Eke: I-I do what? I-chill? I become colder? That seems strange. I bet I could find ice, though! Yes! - She is still unsure of how to do this. What did becoming colder have to do with anything? If she became colder she could focus and eat the flowers? It sounded like a worthy goal, though, so she'd give it a shot. - Okay! First I shall find the ice, and then I will come back and fo-cus. I am very hungry. I hope it does not take long. - She looks around the room. - Do you know where the ice is? I must chill.

Star: -Grins at Eke.- You're funny, Dudette. Literal. You got a very clear and pure mind, that's awesome. -Tilts his head, braid swaying back and forth.- Chill is like, an expression. It means, like, calm and relaxed. No hurry no worry, you know.

Eke: - tilts her head to the side - I am . . . funny? Hm. I have never heard that before. - blinks at him, confused, but then it finally clicks - So I do not have to get ice? Okay. I just have to . . . relax. - tries the word out - Like slow down? - tries to slow the frantic wings on her back and stares intently at them, willing them to stop or something -

Star: Relax doesn't have to mean still. I mean if it's not natural to you, you know, then it's not very chill anyway. It's mostly the state of mind. It's like, it's gotta be a blank slate. Like don't force your thoughts, let your thoughts just filter in naturally and work themselves out on their own.

Eke: A blank mind? My mind is never blank. Never. - flits her wings again now that she knows she can - I am always thinking. I am a bee. Always doing something. - blinks her eyes - You know how to do this relaxing. Have you helped people before. With the relaxing thing? Should I think of pretty flowers? Then they will appear? If I think only of flowers?

Star: -Thinks for a moment, then nods.- Memory should, like, totally work in this case. Just imagine something. Like a place you've been, or a flower garden you really remember. Just focus on it, let the memory fill you mind, and then imagine that memory in this place and we'll see what happens.

Eke: Memory? Memory of flowers . . . - She pondered a good one for a second, then settled on the prettiest, brightest of them. Yum! - Yes, I shall do that! Remember stuff. - She shut her eyes tight a forced the memory through, but then remembered what he'd said and loosened up, letting it filter through and waited and waited and waited. She waited until she felt like she couldn't stand it any more, and then opened them. It was hazy, but it did kinda look like the garden. - It worked? Pretty flowers. - She swiped at one, but nothing came up. - I cannot eat them, though.

Star: Are you really living the memory? Like, I mean, does it feel real to you? This room changes based on the strength of the memory and how strong you feel it. I could feel this room should be like the hills I've roamed before, and I bet it would change for us to those hills. You know, to an extent. It can be many things for many people. -Knows he's probably not making a ton of sense, cool with that.-

Eke: I-I don't think so. It looks funny. See-through. Not real. You know? How do I fix it? -- Looks a little frustrated - Why doesn't it look like it?

Star: -Ponders that for a moment, then gives his best guess.- Probably, like, it's a memory to you. You aren't livin' it, you know? It's not real to you yet. You gotta believe it's all real. Any doubt, and it's all just an illusion.

Eke: But I have already experienced it. I know it is not real. How do I forget it? Do I not think about it? I will not think about it! - She shoved that piece of information to the back of her mind and concentrated on it again, remembering each detail to the quantity of pollen in the air. She waited as long as she possibly could without getting fidgety, then opened her eyes. It seemed more solid than before, but still not completely there. She couldn't seem to forget it wasn't truly real. - It isn't working. - She huffed to herself, trying again. -

Star: -Smiles.- It's alright. It took me a bit to master the trick, I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

Eke: - sighs to herself, suddenly tired - Well, alright. I guess if you say it is hard . . . - She trailed off. She wanted the flowers! Why was she incapable of calming herself enough to get it done? Stupid bee genes! -

Star: -Pats Eke's shoulder sympathetically.- Dudette, I got an idea. Think you can believe in me to make it real? If you can believe in me, then whatever I make real should be real for you as well.

Eke: - buzzes - Believe in you? How does that make it real? - tilts head to the side, staring at him intently - But okay. I will believe in you. Yes! Make real please?

Star: -Sits in thought for a moment. Slowly the area around the two of them changes. They're no longer in a room, but on a plain of gently rollings hills, carpeting in long waving grass and wildflowers everywhere, turning the ground into a riot of color.-

Eke: - Eke stared in amazement at the landscape as it began to morph, the colors becoming more vivid and real. The reality of the area, the tables and walls, became more colorless until the landscape was all that she could see. She couldn't believe it! She snuffled up to a flower and nommed thoughtfully on it for a moment. - It tastes real! Wow! - She took another bite, flopping onto the grass that she could feel from underneath her stomach. - It even feels real! How?

Star: -Flops down in a patch of flowers and flashes Eke a grin.- It's the power of my zen, Dudette.

Eke: - Chomps on another flower - This is good! Very good! Where can I get this zen?

Star: -Chuckles and sits back, muscles relaxed.- You just gotta learn to see this room as a part of the world. Infinite possibilites are open to you when your mind is open.

Eke: - ponders this for a moment - Really? That's it? But that seems so easy! It can't be.

Star: Simplest answer is usually the right one. People like to complicate things, you know, when it's like, not all that hard. Everyone needs to stop and chill every now and then, does the soul good.

Eke: Really? - She usually didn't complicate things, but whatever he was doing was working, so she'd accept it. - I'm not good at this chill thing . . . - She usually took things too literally, and "chilling" didn't seem to be in her skill set. Too much staying still. -

Star: Just do what you find relaxing, Dudette. You'll find your zen eventually.

Eke: I find eating these flowers relaxing. - She sighed in content, stretching her paws-claws?-out along the soft grass, scratching at the strands and snatching up another sweet purple flower. Was this even real food? She couldn't be sure, but it did taste devine. - Good food. I must find this zen so I can eat more of them.

Star: Well, it's only here in this place that you can change things. -Looks around the hills with interest.- It's like, I bet you were a long way away from where I was. I was totally a long way from these hills, cause I've been here before. This could all just be an elborate dream inside my head, and you don't exist. My whole life could have been a giant dream. -Drifts off into thought, staring out into space and looking very much like how he was when Eke first found him.-

Eke: Really? Only here? That's sad. I wish I had this room in my house. - She luxuriated in the realistic feel of the area. If her little house had a room like this one, she'd never leave. She stared at him, head tilted to the side in her usual sign of confusion. - . . . What? I don't understand. - He seemed to have taken that lost look he'd first had again. Huh. -

Star: Just thinking about a variety of realities, and what, like, life means depending on which reality I'm in. Maybe I'm not even in one reality. Life's fluid like that, you know?

Eke: - Still overly confused, her head remained at its side tilt. Life was simple for Eke: food, flowers, and fun, the three f's, were what life was about. She rarely slept, and she spent more time helping others than herself, really. This was deeper than Eke had ever gone. - So am in other realities too? What kinds of realities are real?

Star: Well all the realities are real, you know? And we can exist on several of them, but in some we're nothing more than dreams or scraps of thought. Just because we, like, don't exist in a reality doesn't make the reality unreal.

Eke: - This was going further and further past Eke's realm of understanding with every passing sentence. She only got more and more confused, which only made her dizzy. Thankfully she was lying down, lest she fall or something else embarassing. Her first friend! She couldn't mess this up in any way, so she must look like she knew something about what they were talking about. She could channel philosophical. Not. - I-I think. I think it is an in-ter-es-ting thought. - She blinked a few times to clear her head. Think, Eke, think! - It is true, then? Many realities? How may I find these realities?

Star: It's not something you can, like, learn from me telling you. It's something you just gotta realize on your own, otherwise it won't make sense. -He looked over at Eke, a smile playing about his face.- I can already tell what my mind sees and what yours sees are different, so the things you realize are probably things that would never occur to me. Maybe one day we'll both see the a few of the same realities, but for now we're looking through different sets of eyes.

Eke: - Eke blinked. - Yes. We have different sets of eyes. - She pondered whether or not this could be fixed, but decided that this was probably impossible. She was frustrated; she wished she could do this on her own, but it was impossible to understand. She stared intently at the nearest blue flower, plucked it from its stem, and held it in front of his face. - What is it and what color?

Star: -Laughs.- It's blue, and while I'm no expert I believe it's a speedwell flower. I didn't mean we literally see things differently. I meant, like, since we think different we see different truths to things, you know?

Eke: Oh. - She blushed, although it probably wasn't very visible with her coloring. She still didn't quite understand. - So, so, like . . . I still don't know

Star: -Gives Eke a friendly pat on the shoulder.- It's alright if you don't know, Dudette. You don't have to know right away, after all. I'm sure you'll find the answers on your own one day, and, like, that's pretty much how it should be. Finding your own answers rather than someone telling you their, you know?

Eke: - Eke nodded to him saddly. She had the feeling that she would not be learning this skill anytime soon, but would hopefully learn it . . . eventually. It was sad that she couldn't just be told what to do and absorb it through osmosis or something. - Okay. That sounds hard.

Star: -Justs smiles, then flops on his back among the flowers and stares at the sky.- No use gettin' all down over it, Dudette. Not when we've got such a pretty place to enjoy.

Eke: Alright. - She rolled onto her back, using her paws to grasp at the stems of flowers and pull at them, pushing her most recent thoughts to the back of her mind. - Heaven.

Star: -Chuckles.- You really like flowers, huh, Dudette.

Eke: - She nodded vigorously, but waited to speak until she'd finished swallowing the flower and grabbed at another. - They're preeetty~ And tasty. Mm . . . - She snacked on the next one, then snatched another and held it out to him. - Do you want a flower too?

Star: -Shakes his head.- Nah, I'm good. -Gives her a curious look.- You eat the whole thing, Dudette? Usually bees just go for the nectar inside. You got more herbacious tendencies, huh.

Reminder: Go though and rewrite a good story/summary from this to use for backstory.
[9/11/2013 4:26:52 PM] Lisa: Sarah met Starlight on top of a hill on a cold winter's night. The black male was just sitting there making mist with his breath. Since he appeared to be friendly and struck up a conversation with her, she joined him. He was definitely more than a little strange, but Sarah found she liked being in Starlight's company and listening to his different view of things.

Both roamers, Starlight more than Sarah, the pair still bump into each other frequently. They plays games together, or just sit down and talk. Perhaps one day when Starlight looks at the empty space beside him, he'll realize he doesn't want to roam alone anymore.
It had been awhile since Sarah had laid eyes on her interesting companion Starlight. She hadn’t run into him in a while and was missing the games and talks they had. After spending time with her brother and his mate which was a shocker to her. She felt the need more and more to talk with Star about things wanting to share with him what she felt or thought. Than it hits her that she has fallen for him and his strange ways and that he makes her happy. So than she sets out in search for him determined to find him and let him know exactly how she feels.
Unknown to Sarah, Starlight was starting to run into the same sort of problems. Even though he was traveling and meeting all sorts of females and males and connecting with them it just wasn’t the same connection that he had with Sarah. With how insightful Star was it didn’t take long for him to figure out that Sarah and made her way into his heart and had a place there that nothing else could fill but her. Once he had his mind made up he set out in search of his glowing, transparent vixen.
They found each other in the middle of fall by a lake. A warm September breeze blew the leaves around and them as the stood/sat by the lake talking to each other quietly and giving each other a loving gaze.
Instead of it not being the same connection, because he doesn't really /look/ for things so much as wait for them to come to him, he finds his thoughts straying back to the little yang snowball he had such fun with last few times he saw her. As he's thinking about her his paws start taking him back in the direction he met her last. By chance he meets her at a lake. Seeing her, he notes an odd feeling in his chest. Rather than rush the feeling in an attempt to define it, he falls back into company with Sarah. They chat. While they're talking Star lets the undefined yet strong feeling prompt him while he figures out what it is. This time, instead of parting ways, the two stick together whenever Star leaves. Not that he goes far; he stays close to the area Sarah thinks of as home, finding himself oddly okay with not drifting around like dandelion fluff in a gale. The two spend several days in each other's company, relearning what they know about the other and discovering new things. Star still can't quite place the feeling in his chest, just that it's stronger. One day their topic turns to him. Sarah expresses surprise that she ran into him so quickly, thinking she might have to travel a ways to find him. He mentions he just felt a tug pulling him back to the area. The conversation goes on like that and it gets to the point where Star admits it's odd he hadn't moved on. He confides to Sarah that every time he thinks about it his chest gets all heavy like he can't move, and only when he sees her again does it feel lighter and things get better. He's not sure what's wrong. Not sure if Sarah would be matter-of-fact, amused, timid, or what, but in whichever fashion you think most natural to her she suggests maybe Star's in love with her. Star thinks about it for a minute. When he repeats the suggest in his mind, it feels right. He smiles at her and admits he probably is. Sarah smiles and admits she loves him too.
