He glanced at his own pokemon, but she didn't seem upset. "Ok," he relaxed, and took Dave's hand, shaking it as if it was a concept he was familiar with in theory but not in practice. "I'm ...Cael?" He stalled out, unsure how to continue. "Hello, fire type. Is your trainer curious about whoever has been howling through these mountains, too?" the white lucario asked conversationally. Where she was from there were more Pokemon for her to talk to than humans for her boy, so it came easier to her.

'Rare pelt and extremely runty,' Lexis mused and offered Koorie a kleenex to clean the rest of the drool from her face. "You should be pleased Koorie." Lexis shushed the stray Glameow, stroking the soft fur to calm the pokemon before the feline could attempt to attack the larger Doduo. "Hello," she muttered, looking at the bird distastefully. It smelled.

  Sig had gotten started a bit behind the main group but he made good time, passing the doduo farm before too many of the others had continued on the path.
He now walked leisurely through the loosely spaced gaggle of people, surreptitiously listening in on conversations. He heard mention of an interesting colored poochyena and wandered over to investigate, fishing his digital camera out of his bag.
"Oh wow, is that a shiny? It's such a gorgeous color! Do you mind If I take a picture?" he asked Arwen with a smile.

 Juno was not inclined toward instant emotional explosion. She stiffened at the sudden presence of the furry little cretin on her chest, shuddered just barely at the little zap of electricity, and followed its retreat toward its irresponsible owner with a murderous gaze. The woman stalked toward the trainer, the heels of her boots clacking ominously on the rocky ground. She stopped mere inches from him, looming over him, and pointed an accusing finger toward the hyperactive Pokemon. "Does that... imbecile belong to you?" Desdemona's lantern was gripped tightly in her owner's white knuckles. The Litwick pressed herself to the glass closest to the object of their righteous fury, giving him her best crazy eyes.

The Doduo did not like the presence of Glameow near it's feet, but neither did it appreciate being... Well.... Nearly wrent by a Poochyena at all, and it gave both indignant squawks and chirrups at them, as if objecting to the threats made to it. At least they hadn't been pent up in a pen too-small for it, fighting for food and trying to not suffocate in the stink of others, being bred and bred... It snorted, one head finally sticking up, the other still scolding. "Hi. Any idea what's wrong with it now?" Jack poked her new mount. First it acted like she was Arceus, now it was a priss. Birds.

"because of new Pokemon being discovered it means that by the time that I finish training to become a professor I will have a lot more Pokemon to learn about. " She took the offered hat from Salvo and put it back on her head. "Thank you Salvo and I think that your coloration is very nice." she then turned back to Shaun. "I have noticed that a lot of pokemon here with the other trainers have rather odd coloration and markings that I do not see normally. Is that something that is normal here? I have been to other regions and I have never seen any coloring like this." Duskull frowned,

Cara looked around her at all the different people and pokemon. If she were a Pokemon Watcher this would be a prime set up. She spotted the common pokemon like Glameow, Duskull, and Emolga. She saw Growlithe, Vulpix, and even a Piplup. The ones that surprised her the most were the Lugia, the golden Poochyena, and the white Lucario, those three were by far the most fascinating and rare, apart from Zak's gorgeous Dragonair. Cara couldn't help but want to get closer to the golden Poochyena and white Lucario, just to observe and admire them. She was after all a lover of canines (and many other pokemon).

Lizzie couldn't help but laugh at Remmy's enthusiasm. "You'll know when you're facing a legendary. Trust me. Even when Psywater was a baby I knew he wasn't just an ordinary Pokemon..." Her voice trailed off as she thought about how she found her Lugia. But then she remembered that she was in a conversation with the boy, who asked how she knew where he came from. "I know Johto has a lot of Miltank farms. I visited the region once, but I only stayed near the cities. I didn't get a chance to visit any of the countryside." Psywater, shocked by Squeek's electric butt, yelped and took a step back. It surprised him, but didn't hurt him. He was about to retaliate with... something, he didn't think of what yet, when a woman with high heels approached them. He was really more interested in the little candle Pokemon that she was carrying with her. He arched his neck towards the Litwick and gave her his own crazy eyes. Psywater had never seen a Pokemon like that before!

"Yes, and he's very excited about traveling for the first time." Miles said to the Lucario, walking at an easy stride. "But I do think that lisp of his is going to be a bit of a problem when he's talking to other humans." Dave smiled at him. "Mind if I walk with you? Our pokemon theem to be getting along okay. But if you don't want to, I guethh I can go on ahead, but Mileth doethn't like following me."

Juno was momentarily distracted from her rage by the approach of... of a Lugia, of all things. She plastered on her most sincere friendly smile as the massive Pokemon leaned in to exchange funny faces with Desdemona, and Juno turned toward the girl who seemed to be talking about the Lugia. "You... do you own the Lugia? He's magnificent." What a catch he would be. Seeing her first round of crazy returned in kind, Desdemona tried a different tack. "Liiiiitwiiiiiick!" she wailed at the top of her tiny wax lungs.

Lexis huffed, turning away from the nosy Dodou giving his Glameow the look of , 'I bet you are tasty'. She did spare a glance at Jack and then at her mount. "Angry most likely, you likely paid to much for it," she added the last bit as an afterthought. Lexis hated bird Pokemon in any form. She like her feet firmly on the ground thank...
Was that a Teddiursa? Certainly not a pokemon she was interested in, but a rather cute little bugger. Lexis pulled out her pokedex in attempt to scan the little thing. Likely it was looking for some sort of food. Berries perhaps.

Parthenius was further calmed by Koorie's compliment, and she settled comfortably in Arwen's arms. She looked down at the Doduo with a wary squint, but made no further scruple about it, especially now that she had something else to give her attention to.
She stretched out as far as she could, pawing at the newcomer's camera to show she was ready.
"I'm not sure... it's not like any Pokémon I've ever met," Arwen said apologetically to Jack's inquiry. "Maybe it has something to do with its, er... heads?"
He turned to the newcomer then, startled. "N-no, I don't mind at all! And I'm sure she doesn't either," he said with a laugh as Parth continued her pawing. "Did you w-- eek!"
He was stopped mid-sentence when a Teddiursa nosed him, and he stepped back quickly from the presumed danger.

Lexis snickered slightly at Arwen made the most wonderful squeaking sound. "It is just a cub, and it seems to be looking for a source of food. You wouldn't be interested in capturing such a cute cub would you?" She watched the cub continue sniffing about.
