Rep met the look with his own, that half-wild wide eyed stare that echoed a tiger focused on it's prey. There was a jingle of expensive rolex and rings as he raised a hand and flourished the first three fingers on his hand in a casual gesture that was intended as a wave. A predatory smirk spread across his features and for what subtle nuances there were in Rep's demeanour, it wasn't an entirely nasty one.
He wasn't even subtle in the lascivious way he let his eyes wander across Nuk's body before with a throaty chuckle he turned his back and in a sweep of fur and jewels sauntered across the room to the bar.

She took one, examining the brand, before popping the sig in her mouth. "We all work here. You mean you work in the casino?" She asked, before making a flicking motion with her hands and thumb. "Light?"

He happily obliged, swaying and smiling as he lit the zippo. "I'm the janitor," He gave a giggle at that, but didn't turn off the lighter despite the state of the cigarette. The multiple drinks may or may not have finally caught up with him, the light dancing in his glasses.

She lit her cigarette, inhaled, and leaned back, watching the light a moment and then at the man as she blew out. "Yeah. Ain't just no janitor being called to this meeting. What else?" She asked, taking her drink and tossing the shot back.
Melvin was beside her, staring at his whiskey and then passed it back to teh bartender. "I wanted it from an unopened bottle?" Whether used to requests like this or not wanting trouble, the bartender set a unopened bottle of whiskey on the counter, opened it, and poured into a fresh glass before handing it over with some ice cubes.
Melvin frowned. "Where do the icecubes come from? Is it filtered water?"

"Ah."
That was pretty much Melvin's only warning as the seat next to him suddenly became occupied. "A risky trick, amico mio... very risky indeed. I had never thought to try it on a tiger, I admit, and yet..." Malodore's gaze flicked over to Rep for a moment. "You are a bold one, I admit... chemist."

There wasn't much that unsettled the drug dealer. Faced with violence, sex and drugs nearly every day, he'd thought he'd seen every sort of 'scary' there ever was.
And then Rep turned that predatory stare on him.
There was a brief pause where Nuk legit forgot to swallow his drink. His eyes flicked to the three-finger salute briefly, processing the gesture for half a second before flicking back to the redhead's expression, processing what it meant. He was, by no means, a smart guy -- on a scale of Melvin to G, Nuk probably ranked only slightly higher than the gargantuan man. And while he was pretty dense, overall, when Rep's eyes wandered over his body like that, echoed closely by a devilish smirk, there was no way in hell he could miss that message. Time stood still for the shapeshifter as the redhead turned to saunter away, every muscle in his body completely stiff as he stared, completely and obviously thrown off guard.
And then time started moving again. The chair tilted just a fraction of an inch too far backwards, and Nuk practically spilled out of it, banging the table and stumbling a bit before barely catching himself on his feet, the chair crashing loudly to the floor. Brushing the spilled drink off the front of his jeans, Nuk cursed under his breath, looking around a little shadily to see if anyone noticed that.
Did he have a death wish? Getting ANY SORT OF INVOLVED with the Boss' boytoy was probably the stupidest thing he could have ever done.

Despite the assurance his ice came from filtered water, Melvin was still holding his glass up to the blue light to inspect them when he jumped as someone sitting next to him. In hindsight, he should have put a cup there and said ti was occupied. Instead, he looked over at the sleek looking...woman and set the cup slowly back down.
"What trick?"

Jing was indeed enjoying the view from the bar as he curled his lip at the going on's in the hall. "Like one big soap opera out here." he mentioned dryly to the fellow patron soaking in the view, nudging Malodore with his elbow lightly.
The mother of all dramas decided to make itself known right on the floor, something that had the grinning fool stopping in mid sip to watch the signals fly."Well." pausing to soak it in with an arched eyebrow and placing the glass back down on the counter before it outright slipped from his hands. "Thats something." he murmured quietly.
Where was G when you needed him, he would be glad that there were two trying to 'keep it all in the family'.
The fun of working in a casino was loading the deck, and that was another ace up his sleeve. If there was anything that was drilled in Jing's head, it was the indisputable fact that
the house always wins.

"Ah..." Malodore leaned in, dropping its voice; it smelled subtly of embalming fluids. "Of course, of course. One must be circumspect." It had a knowing smile, however. "Have the latest formulae been coming out well? I had heard about those... imitators of your craft. The side effects were most amusing. Particularly the lung issue observed in those with breath mutations." Oh yes. Very amusing. Its smile widened.
At the tap, it turned, nodding slightly to the other - one of the casino workers, si, it remembered. It knew most of the people here, though some of them wouldn't know it at all. They hadn't been conscious when they'd met it, after all. "Indeed so. One must simply sit back and allow the entertainment to roll over one like a wave," it said, blandly.

The senator. Gargantuan wasn't sure how he felt about approaching such a powerful woman, but he think he'd deserved a drink tonight. With an awkward, thin sort of smile, he took a seat next to her, resisting the urge to crumple his hat in his hands again.
"Senator. Ma'am." He rumbled, fixing his eyes on the rim of his drink politely. "Nice, uh. Nice evenin'."
Stupid. He was nervous though, talking to someone so important. Better to be safe than sorry.
"You--you uh, known the boss long, ma'am?"
That was when the crash filled the room, and Gargantuan's face drained of color. He spun, half expecting to see a knife embedded in someone's throat--but there was only Nuk there, looking a little hunted.
Studying the young man uncertainly for a moment, he turned his attention back to the senator, apologizing gruffly for the interruption.

Rep had swung around at the clatter of the chair with the kind of survival reflexes necessary to make it this far in life as an absolute douchebag. Only when it was clear he wasn't under attack did he relax and re-fluff his furs, the smirk returning twofold as he took in the apparently rattled man.
He cast his gaze to the bathrooms speculatively before drifting back to Harrison who still seemed to be dealing with people, a quick survey informed him it wasn't many of them. Pity.
Leaning over the bar he grabbed one of the towels used for drying glasses and wandered back to the dealer's table, everything about his posture smug and triumphant. He held it out helpfully. "You've got a little something...just there." he gestured pointedly.

"Royal always comes to the highest standard of quality." His standard. Just asking bothered him. "It wouldn't lax in quality, and those imposters are already getting handled." Jordan wouldn't like to him after all.
He narrowed his eyes at the man speaking with him. "Who are you? I don't know you? Does everyone here know you?" Could he be a double agent? Someone working for the FBI to take him.

"L.C. Malodore... dottore, in the service of the 'King'," it said, with a slightly more pleasant smile. "It has been my honor to tend to many of those in attendance. You do see the most interesting injuries in this line of work, do you not? Entertainment and profit all tied up in one. Extremely convenient, don't you think?"

"A wave is many things, gentle and calming, rough and violent and everything in between." he said, feeling poetical in the moment with the fellow patron and giving a nod at the person joining them at the bar. The glass on the counter sounded with a chime as the ice settled into a better position, blending with the fold. It was enough to keep Jing going. "Tell me good sir, are you content just watching the waves pass by, do you feel the urge of ever making some of your own?" he asked, probing to know more about the people he had to see ever so often. The main show still continued on the floor, courtship, act one. If only they could show this in the casino theater. But he continued to keep an eye on it, a free show of this magnitude was a rarity.
