"Now now, you don't need to keep talking about it if you don't want to," he said kindly, placing his hand kindly on her shoulder with a gentle smile, noticing that she was beginning to get frustrated and was starting to cry. He wanted to help her remember her past, but not if it upset her to the point that she started crying. He disliked seeing young girls cry, and he knew Mori would also be furious with him if he were to return to find this girl crying.
"Now, why don't we change the subject, hm?" he asked warmly. "Do you remember anything about your family? Your sister? . . . Mother? . . . Father maybe?"

They watched as this was going on and you could see Hirisha yawning and stretching. Sure she sounded interesting, but this was getting boring. She was never one to listen to life stories as Hiriko tried putting the pieces of the puzzle. At least he was more attentive than his sister. He even became annoyed when Hirisha made those noises that bothered him from his thoughts. A Princess. . she was perhaps? The pride was fitting in correctly. That was true. Hirisha looked out the window after a few moments and sighed as she put her head on her arm. "He's late." she said, not even caring that she interrupted the Elder, "I don't think he would be late." At that moment Hiriko looked at her with annoyed eyes and coughed, telling her that she had just interrupted the elder. She looked at him and then slumped in her chair. She was bored. But if she said it, she would make her brother slap her and a fight would start. Hirisha only kept quiet as Hiriko sighed and looked out the window as well. At least she wasn't the only one that was worried.

✿ Ӎӑῑұӑ ✿ ┏ Maiya shook her head at the elder. There was nothing in her mind that could even hint to having parents or something like that. She wished she could remember. . but no matter what, nothing seemed to be helping. Her faith in this old man having to help her with her memories was wearing thin. Maiya's cooperation was going down. "Nope." was her only reply as she shook her head. She was about to say something else, but then one of the twins, Hirisha. . was it, interrupted her and the elder by commenting on someone being late. Probably Mori. Well, who gave a damn? Maiya sure didn't. . until she realized that he had that hope of bringing her memories back. He was able to stir the memory of her beloved who still hasn't come back fully, but maybe if he kept pushing her, . . just maybe. . she could start remembering things. Maiya looked out the window as she thought and saw that the moon had started to light the dark sky. She then looked back front and then sighed, waiting for the elder's . . old geezer's next question in line. ┙

~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- Before Bozu got to speak again, there was a large ripple disturbance with the barrier, which then split open, and closed back up shortly after. Then, Mori bolted into the house, breathing heavily and covered in sweat. His eyes were riddled with worry, and Ruicha was nowhere in sight. He had worn himself out so much getting there that, when he tried to speak, no words would leave his mouth. He then leaned heavily on the doorway, trying to catch his breathe.

Bozu was just about to ask Maiya his next question when he felt the disturbance in his barrier. He then got a more worried look as he turned quickly to look in the direction of the front door as Mori bolted in. "M-Mori!!" he yelled in surprise as he stood up from his chair and turned to face him.

They looked up and stood from their seats when they saw Mori. Why did he look so tired? Moreover, why was he running? MOREOVER, why was Ruicha not with him?! "Mori what happened?" Hiriko said as he went up to his friend and offered him some water that Hirisha tossed from the kitchen, "Why are you in such a hurry and why. . . is Ruicha not with you?" He looked around for her and wondered where she had gone. Hiriko tried not to be negative and kept himself thinking that she was just out getting herbs or they played tag or wanted to see who was faster and Mori just got into the game a little too much. But it was hard doing so with Hirisha's worried gaze looking and weighing upon him, keeping the positiveness from shining through so much. Hiriko chuckled a little as he said this. "C'mon Mori," he continued, "Don't die just because you flew all the way here."

~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- "Ruicha...." Mori managed to say between breathes. He was still gasping for air, but he grabbed Hiriko by the scruff of his kimono and pulled his face down to his own. He was glaring into Hiriko's eyes with a look of intense severity and almost fear. "... She was TAKEN!" After he managed to say that aloud, he started to cough, after which he swiped the cup of water out of his hand and he chugs it as fast as he can. He then sighs deeply when he finishes, not even having worried about drinking neatly, so there was some water on his face. He continued to breathe hard, but no longer as laborious, and said "It was... that man! . . . His sister came, . . . and TOOK Ruicha!" He spoke between deep breathes, but he managed to get his point across. He looked scared and desperate with worry.

✿ Ӎӑῑұӑ ✿ ┏ When Maiya heard that the girl whom he was with had been taken by Fuji's sister, better known as Roku, she couldn't help but be surprised a bit, although it was expected since Mori had tried to fight against Fuji. Maiya looked down on her bedsheet and gripped it, held onto it tightly. There was regret weighing in her heart. She had expected Mori to be taken. . but for someone whom Fuji had no connection with. . why? Was he baiting her? This was all too soon. No, he could not have been baiting her. . .if so, Roku would have just taken Maiya like that, that woman had the power to after all. . . They have a plan. . a trick up their sleeves that Maiya could not comprehend. But her only hope was that Ruicha. . or if that is her name, would not be turned into a puppet just like Maiya and a lot of others. Hopefully that priestess knows not to struggle or get them mad.
Maiya had been trying to contemplate everything before a hand grabbed the kimono. It had been the pink haired woman whom seemed to have gotten out of her seat to blame everything on Maiya. She had to stay calm. Maiya decided not to fight back, although she was worried about the kimono that this woman would not unhand. ┙

Hiriko was surprised when Mori had grabbed him and his kimono. It was something bad that had happened were the first things that crossed his mind. Something horrible had taken place. His thoughts soon were realized when he heard that Ruicha had been kidnapped. The Ruicha that would play with them when they were little. The Ruicha that would tend to their wounds when they had gotten hurt. The Ruicha who would brighten the twins' day with her dazzling smile. Gone. Hiriko couldn't help but blame everything on this new demon girl, Maiya. But he knew that it can't have been her fault directly, no. It was her fault still in another way. If she hadn't shown up, Ruicha would still have been here. Hiriko was aloof as he stood there before glass breaking woke him up.
Unlike Hiriko, Hirisha was one not to stand aloof. When she had heard that their Ruicha was kidnapped by someone, that, someone, whomever that was, she stood from her seat and knocked over a small counter that made a glass cup fall, breaking it as it hit the ground. She then walked up to that small demon and grabbed her kimono, carrying her up shouting in sadness and anger, "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" only to be stopped by Hiriko who ran up to Hirisha and held her hand in hopes of calming his twin sister down. "You know better Hirisha, it can't be her fault!" he said, looking at the demon with eyes like Hirisha's which had a different message. Hirisha did not calm down though and only gripped on her kimono tighter, stirring up some emotion in Maiya's face in fear for her kimono. "Who's fault is it then?! Who came and had to bring all this trouble?!" Hirisha shouted, forgetting Mori's and the elder's presence, "Well?!" She wanted an answer. She wanted some logical explanation. Moreover, she wanted Ruicha back.

~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- "Hirisha!" Mori yelled at her in a threatening tone when he saw her holding Maiya up by the kimono. He then stood up and walked over to the two. "NONE of this is Maiya's fault. If it's the fault of any, it is my own! I'M the one that got involved with Maiya, and I'M the one they want. The man's sister told me that he wants me to seek him out, so I already know that I'm their target. I just hope they don't hurt Ruicha." After he spoke he looked at Maiya with a bit of a relieved smile, glad that she, at least, hadn't been harmed or taken.

✿ Ӎӑῑұӑ ✿ ┏ Maiya kept quiet as Hirisha picked her up and blamed this on her. How foolish. Was she even of her kind? Someone to act like a human and start blaming people on faults that are their own. Maiya had thought at that moment, as she looked down on the woman, that it was her fault for not being cautious enough. But she knew deep down inside, that it was her own fault to blame. She had meddled with these people's lives. She came to them hoping to stop Fuji from wreaking havoc by using her. She came to satisfy her own selfish desire. And look what ended up happening. What made her wonder was why these people would still be happy for her to be alive. Why would Mori, the one closest to that woman look at her with relief in his eyes. Was he a fool too? Was Maiya trapped in a house of fools counting herself as the Queen of them all?
When Hirisha had put her down, slowly, Maiya started smoothing out the rumpled collar of her kimono. It still was precious to her and she hoped that it wouldn't be ruined. She sat on the floor, knowing that she still could not stand up. Her legs were still like jelly. Her bones weak. If she had started moving around so much, something was sure to break.
"Roku Noryuka." Maiya said, not looking at any of these people in the eye, "That is who took Ruicha. She was a famous Priestess." It was the only kind of information she could offer at the time. She hoped that at least the old man would know who she was out of everyone. For some reason, she wanted to help them, but she had to keep distance. If Maiya had started getting closer to them, they would be in serious danger all because of her. ┙ Ί am free? Ί can see myself now. Ί no . . . I'm not. I'm still chained to you.

Hirisha, hearing Mori, put down the girl. Him being their target? Why? Why does this all happen now? They were living in such a blissful peace. .just yesterday. And the day before. They were able to see each other smile and eat together. They did not have to watch their backs of feel hate as they did now. Hirisha then sat back down on her chair and held her head in her hands muttering, "Ruicha. . " sadly. Out of anyone there, all not counting the elder, Hirisha had been very close to this priestess in training. They always told each other secrets and Hirisha treated her almost like her brother besides the fighting. Hiriko stood behind his sister's chair and patted her shoulder. He also felt the same way, but because he wasn't so close to her, he just didn't feel such overwhelming sadness. "Why would they want you?" Hiriko asked after a long silence, seeing the demon girl smooth the roughed parts of her kimono, "Why would they go so far as to take Ruicha? Wouldn't this person take back. . ." he stopped short in thought. He couldn't ask that. It would make him seem like he as well hated the presence of the new guest. He only sighed and then looked at Mori for his answer before our guest spoke.
When he heard what she said, Hiriko and Hirisha felt an odd nostalgia. They had heard that name before, but where? They felt a headache when it was uttered into the room, and Hirisha only dug her head more into her hands to try to stop it while Hiriko treated the headache as some kind of sign and tried to think of the cause of it. "I think we have heard that name." he said, rubbing his chin and leaning on the arm of the chair that Hirisha was sitting on, only to be scooted off, "I don't know how or where, maybe one of our travels?"

Bozu had been watching over everything with interest. True, when Mori said that his granddaughter had been kidnapped he had become very upset, but he kept his cool in order to set an example to the twins, whom he wished were at least a little more level-headed, well, Hirisha mostly. "Hmm, I see," he said after Maiya spoke of Roku, "I had figured when Mori spoke of Fuji's sister, but I had partially been hoping that he was mistaken. If Roku has indeed taken Ruicha then she will already be under a deep spell, though I do hope that, given Roku's past, she will take at least some pity on Ruicha and not harm her. However, if what Fuji wants is for Mori to find him, then we will have to act quickly in order to get Ruicha back!" He stood up and addressed the twins. "Come now you two, we have preparations to make." After he said this, he walked towards the front door and stopped just before exiting. He turned to look at Maiya. "Miss Maiya, you will help us in this endeavor, will you not? You needn't worry about your kimono, we can bring you a change of clothes to wear so as to keep it intact and unharmed." He smiled at Maiya as he spoke, hoping that she wouldn't turn down his proposal.

~Protector of the Forest, The Accursed Protector of Peace~-Mori- Mori couldn't help but agree with Bozu's words, but when he heard Bozu ask Maiya for help, he knew in his mind that she would need some help getting reacquainted with her body, and he knew that he was the only one that would be able to help her. When Bozu finished his offer for an exchange of clothes, Mori continued "And I can help you get used to moving around in your body again, so you won't have to worry." Mori also smiled at Maiya, but in a more confident that she will be alright way.

✿ Ӎӑῑұӑ ✿ ┏ Hearing all this happen, Maiya looked around and wondered if they were all joking. They would all just go after the girl knowing Fuji being strong and hgis sister being strong as well with no regrets whatsoever? What the hell is up with them?! For a second, she just started to laugh out loud in mocking glee, and in the background, she could hear Hirisha growling, probably wanting to slap her or something. Such fools to think that they can topple down Fuji themselves. Seeing as though laughing was rude in this tense atmosphere after a while, Maiya rubbed her eyes, she had started to cry in amusement too and then looked at them all saying, "I would think you all would make me go myself, how funny, such fools you are!" It was quite true. Maiya had thought they would trap her with a chain spell and tell her to go off and find the maiden herself, but it seemed they would go as well, how comical. It would take quite some time for them to reach the castle and he would send some puppets after them. Maiya still couldn't help but chuckle a little at their ignorance. But she also felt relief that she wouldn't be going alone. Hearing Mori's comment about getting some help getting used to her new body, Maiya only shook her head and smiled pridefully saying, "I can do it myself. I do not need your help you foolish Tengu." Of course, she knew his name, but she didn't to take the trouble to say it---let alone remember it. ┙ Ί am free? Ί can see myself now. Ί no . . . I'm not. I'm still chained to you.
