"The airport. But she wasn't on any flight lists and didn't show up on any on-flight cameras. Yet, she was clearly seen going through to the gates." He pressed play on a video, and a shapely blonde woman walked across the screen. He lifted her purse, winking at a man just across the way from her, and strode to the gates, her hips swaying massively and provocatively.
Despite his attempt at concentration, Ellery blushed and cleared his throat. "This is the last time anyone saw her."

"Sexual Education," answered Ellery, pulling the phone back to move to her teacher's photo. The beautiful blonde woman smiled at the camera, bright blue eyes twinkling with some sort of playfulness and innocence he was convinced was forged. "And she was popular, too. Male students flocked to her class, even though she only taught girls."

Ellery scrolled through the list of names he was given, reading out five names. "Nikolai Byko, Kiyaka Mayazaki, Derrick Evans, Max Evans, and a student visiting from one of the sister schools named Devon Knightly." With a sigh, he set the phone down and ran a hand through his hair. "This is going to take forever, tracking down all five people and getting them to spill, and Daniel has a bedtime. You wouldn't happen to know anyone who would be able to babysit the little bugger, would you?"
Beside Fredrich, Daniel bounced in his seat at Cameron's stories, grinning in excitement. Cameron's father sounded so cool!

Ellery pouted, slouching a bit in his seat. "No fair! How come Ethan gets to go, then?" he asked, crossing arms at the detective. "And don't say he's not, because Lock always makes him go!"
"Again, again!" laughed the boy, clapping his hands happily and bouncing more.

"Alright alright, fine," he sighed, pursing his lips and narrowing his eyes into thick bold lines. "But if something happens to me, it's on your a**, Waltz." In his current position, Ellery looked more like the childish person he truly was and less like the serious jerk he tended to be. But even Ellery didn't understand to change, or even see it. All he could see what that dumb Wilhelm kid sticking around his boyfri- I mean, partner. Yeah... partner.

Daniel tilted his head at the officer, then pulled out a small pad of paper and a pen, starting to draw. He then showed the drawing of a rusted circular saw to Cameron, which was decent for a kid his age. "Like that?"

He then leaned closer, still frowning but with a twinkle in his eyes. "And I'll make sure Lock watches over you when I can't," he said teasingly, grinning. "Besides, I'd hate for you to 'cheat' on me." Leaning back, Ellery crossed his arms behind his head and smiled softly. "Seriously, though, you need to sell our relationship. I'll randomly text you things to help, but I'm not that good at romantic things, so it'll be dumb things like... I don't know, you're so tall and sexy. Tall is still sexy, right?" He sighed, biting his lip. "Jesus, I should watch more romance movies. I'm no good at this."
Daniel listened carefully, then tried to mimic, sounding more like a cute little puppy than a crazy doctor. "Darn, I'm too squeaky!"

Ellery's eyes grew wide as he was drawn closer, catching his breath at the up-close view of the handsome detective. He truly was flawless, with soft, smooth skin and cheekbones he could cut his hand on if he slapped them. And then his eyes! Oh, had anyone seen such beautiful pools of dark blue? The songwriter's heart rate skyrocketed, his cheeks rapidly turning red and his pupils dilating. "Fredrich," he breathed, his hands shaking. Suddenly, he heard Cameron's booming voice and was shaken from his trance. He tugged himself out of Fredrich's grasp and moved back to his seat, clearing his throat and not looking at the detective. "Y-yes, that's all g-good then."
Daniel, seeing only the end of this, clambered around the table to Cameron, yanking him down by his shoulder to whisper in his ear. "What happened? I didn't see!"
