Xuza shook her head. "Ok... Don't laugh, but where I come from Death is definitely not nice. It's like everything is backwards here, and nobody knows the difference. Most people look at me like you just did when I tell them that...
"My laugh?" Xuza's face turned beat red at that. She never liked or knew how to handle people pointing it out. "Psh, jerk." She pouted a bit, and try as she may not to, it made her all the more adorable. "So, what are you doing here?"
➟Takeshi looked at her as if she was crazy. The way she was talking made her seem as if she had some mental issues. It wasn't like he could grasp her situation, however, he had no idea that there was an alternate dimension. There was also the matter of trust, how could he put any stock into what she was saying was true. They had just met and now it would seem like she's trying to feed him a pill too big to swallow. "So you think Lord Death is..mean? Did he do something to your hometown or something?" He highly doubted her words but she seemed sweet, he wasn't going to go against her words. He'd entertain her but unless he saw some solid evidence it wasn't going to be easy. When her face turned red he saw an opportunity to talk about a different subject, plus teasing her was kind of fun. "Oh come on! You should know people don't laugh like that! Here I'll show you." Takeshi cleared his throat and shut his eyes. He was getting ready for a deep and manly laugh, moments pass and he tried his best to mimic a masculine character's laugh. "Haha!" His voice wasn't as convincing, he was still a young man going through...'changes', but he did his best. "That is how most boys laugh, now the girls." This time he didn't clear his throat, rather he just went for it. "Tehehe!" When he laughed his voice was high pitched and loud, it drew a large amount of attention towards him. Realizing that some of the other couples were giving him odd looks his own face went red. "W-Well that is how it goes I guess..." Looking straight at the ground avoiding eye contact with anyone else he spoke with his shyness showing. "I'm here because I want to be a good meister, hero if you will. One day I'll be an icon of justice and save people."

Xuza was frowning slightly by the time Takeshi started making fun of her again. That made her laugh her embarrassingly adorable laugh all over again.
"Vufufuu~ That's what you get for making fun of me!" She said pointing to the onlookers. "You'd better be careful with that girly one, tough guy." Then she saw Takeshi grim up.
"A hero, huh? Just how do you plan on doing that?" She didn't like Takeshi at first. Then again, she wasn't in the mood for people, which made her warming up to him all the more heroic a feat for the blonde.
➟"Aw don't seem so upset. Your laugh is cute in it's own unique way." Takeshi smiled but how Xuza handled it would be something odd. She could have taken it as if Takeshi had been sugar coating an insult. "W-What is that supposed to mean?" He turned away from Xuza with his face back to normal. "Yeah well that's the stereotypical girly laugh I guess, but your beginning to sound more like it. I've always found cute girls who snort to be even cuter though, it's like a puppy and kitten combined and wrapped in a fluffy cloud of adorableness." Takeshi didn't seem to mind telling Xuza about this since he was sure she was just another stranger that he would most likely never meet again, but as time went on he began to want her as a friend. "I'm perfectly fine with my amount of masculinity." He stuck his tongue out at her not aware of whether or not he had done it before to her. To him it was a common teasing mechanism. "Being a hero? It is easy, I just got to stop evil which are mostly just evil humans and witches, right?"

You want Takeshi to go with Xuza? Well CR thinks I should go... oh what the heck. I might be able to make it. ^^ Hero...reminds me of Donovan and Illo's conversation. Takeshi is just as naive with this. xD

Xuza chuffed again. "I mean you're a little too good at it! Fufufu."
"Witches; yeah those aren't high on my list, I'm assuming you're a meister or weapon... unless you just like picking on stargazers." Mentioning witches always brought the fire out of Xuza. "How old are you anyway? If you don't mind."
➟"Oh haha. Your so funny." It was obvious by the tone of Takeshi's voice that he was being sarcastic. "I'm a meister and I don't enjoy bullying people, your going to make me out as some bad guy and that isn't very cool." Takeshi snickered to himself. "I'm sixteen going on seventeen." Curious of Xuza's own age he awaited her answer.

"Maybe you shoulda thought of that before you started picking on me. Fuhue, I'm older than you, you know. And I'm pretty sure heroes don't pick on their seniors."
"Maybe you could do stand up?" The angel teased.
Just then a shooting star passed overhead. Xuza turned to see the last part of its flashing voyage.
"Do you believe in shooting star wishes?" She asked her new friend.
➟"Stand up? I'm no comedian! I'm going to be a hero and save lives, but instead of an officer or doctor I'll work for Shibusen." When Xuza looked to the sky he became curious, he followed her line of sight and tracked it down to the supposed star. "Oh! Well would you look at that... Takeshi wasn't expecting such a sight, he didn't think he'd be as lucky as to spot a shooting star. "Well I guess that's a sign of good luck, does that answer your question? I believe in them wholeheartedly, though I've never seen one up until this point before."

"Then we finally agree on something!" Xuza smiled at Takeshi, probably the first time she'd done so in their entire conversation. And not just any smile that can be faked, no, this was genuine.
"I'd like to see that. You being a hero, that is." She laughed.
➟"Hey your right! It's about time we found something in common." When Xuza smiled it made him happy. She was something else alright. "Shooting stars are beautiful and like your smile they are out of this world, ya'h know?" He giggled at his cheesy pun. "Maybe I could be a hero and comedian at the same time." Looking back out at the vast space he spoke gently. "I won't make fun of you if you make a wish, that is if you didn't already of course. I know I will, but since this is a special occasion I'll wish for something else I want." Closing his eyes he thought of one wish he wanted more than anything to come true, but it wasn't to become a hero. He'd ask for something not so silly, his type of silly anyway. Opening his eyes he blushed just a bit while the shooting star passed by. "Sorry, I can't help but get a little embarrassed. I've never done anything like this with anyone around before."

I'm up for whatever you want to do. Mission sounds fun, Xuza seems like a nice friend to have around Takeshi. emotion_c8
"Let's just hope your enemies are lactose intolerant, 'cause that was CHEESY! Vufufufu!" There she went chuffing away again.
"Uh... Thank you." She didn't quite know how to respond to Takeshi. He all of a sudden became so sweet.
"You don't have to... Oh." Xuza watched this crazy blonde boy make a wish, a bit dazzled. Of course, she'd already made her wish, a wish that may or mayn't have been granted already.
"It's inconvenient, isn't it? You can't say the wish or it won't come true."
➟"Haha! It looks like I'm not the only one with a sense of humor." He was enjoying the time spent with his new friend, so much that he didn't want to think about leaving anytime soon. "You don't have to thank me, I just said what you should be able to do freely. Just be yourself, it's only fair that I be myself and tease you on a few things." He grinned at her in a subtle manner. "You know it's nice having you around, you aren't as hard to talk to as it is with my other friend." Takeshi was referring to Charlie of course, her personality proved difficult to take in for someone like Takeshi. "Inconvenient? You could say that, I'd share mine with you but it's something that appears to be out of my hands. I don't think it could come true unless I get it through other means besides myself." Takeshi decided to stop abruptly and change the subject of his wish entirely, refocusing on Xuza's wish. "I hope that your wish comes true, and if it doesn't then I'm sure we can both make it come true together!" He gave her a smile to reassure her then stared back at the sky.

"So, you also must be a philosopher, right? A Jack of all trades?" She giggled at her joke.
"But since your the only sane person I've found in this world, I guess I'll have to hang out with you more often... You know, to keep myself from going batty." That may or may not make sense, but Xuza couldn't take it back now.
➟"Well uh...thanks I guess." For a second there, Takeshi didn't really understand what she had meant. "Don't flatter me, I'm just some guy that likes teasing girls is all." He winked at her and gave a wide smile to show that he was just being playful and messing around again. "Nah, really though I'm a student at the academy." Xuza's last couple of sentences were a bit confusing for Takeshi, but he wasn't going to pry so he just took it as another compliment. "Sane? I think that is by far the strangest compliment I've ever heard, thanks though. I'd like to think of myself as a well put together kind of guy. Since I can talk to you like this I'd say we were both down to earth, despite having our heads in the stars, am I right?" Unlike Xuza, Takeshi couldn't really appreciate sanity for what it was the way she could, but he tried to understand by putting himself in a position where he could mentally. Imagining that he was the only sane person on the planet actually did sound kind of scary when he thought long and hard about it. "I think I can relate on a small level, I think being th only sane person would drive me madder than that hatter from the book. Ya'h know if we're the only sane then that means we have to stick together. I don't want to go batty either, I just hope that you can handle me. At times I can be pretty insufferable, I won't lie, everyone has their bad days of course."

"Unbearable huh? Vufufu, you don't say." Xuza couldn't help laughing at Takeshi, and it turned out that's exactly what she needed. She felt a thousand times better than when she came up here. Ironically, she came to be alone, but it was company that cured her declivitous mind.
"So what kind of a meister are you? My family taught me how to wield swords pretty well, and even though I didn't really train that hard I guess I'm ok at it."
