Mitsu had been so focused on her hands she hadn't noticed Shun had stopped walking until she no longer heard footsteps beside her. There was a brief second on inward panic. Had she upset him with the topic? She looked up and back glad to find him there and finally moving again but his answer made her frown.

"What makes you say that? You've never tried." She pointed out, looking to his face curiously for an answer. "I think you would make a really good father." She decided to add though no doubt he wouldn't believe it. Mitsu felt this was going to be one of those topics she had to convince him on....and it might take a while. Then again they had time.

The reaper frowned lightly and ran a hand through his hair as he thought on it.

"I don't even know anything about how to deal with children. I never played with any growing up.. and well I definitely do not deal with them now," Shun said while looking towards her, "Just look at me. I'm hardly someone to look up to."

Was he supposed to train a child? How would he go about doing that without having them go through the steps he did? He was taught harshly against crying... children cry. What the hell could he do when one started up around him?

"Well....I don't know much about scarelings either," Mitsu said honestly. She had been the youngest sibling and other than watching the scarelings run around and play at the park she knew little about what it took to raise one. But there was just something that told her she wouldn't mind finding out someday. And if her older brother could do it how bad could it really be?

To his last response she did look toward him, her expression softening before she smiled lightly. "I am looking at you. And you don't give yourself enough credit. If you treat a scareling half as well as you treat me you'll make a great father." Her throat was starting to get scratchy though so this conversation wasn't going to last for long. She would likely have to bring it up another day.

At least if anything it had made the time pass because the circus was already coming into view up ahead. Mitsu could see the large tents that had been set up and could already smell the scent of mini pets. They had minis?

Shun's brow furrowed and he shook his head lightly.

"But you aren't a child, Mitsu. I don't know. it's not the same," he said. At least, that was how he thought, "You understand fun. I don't. And if anything children would probably be scared from the looks I give."

The Reaper was perfectly aware that he was pretty much always had a stern look about him. An almost perpetual glare in a way.

Looking ahead again, he could see the tents up ahead that signified they were almost at the circus.

True she wasn't a scareling but Shun more than proved he could be gentle and kind. He made her feel better when she was sad and still took her to do fun things even if he didn't understand the purpose. As far as his looks went they didn't bother her and for a child growing up knowing nothing else she doubted a scareling would give them a second thought. As a matter of fact she wouldn't be surprised if they gave him the same look in return. Which was rather amusing to think about. So much so it made her giggle.

"Just think about it." Was all she said before she turned her attention to the tents ahead of them. As they drew closer Mitsu could see some of the larger animals they had along with their minis. It looked like a petting zoo some could even be ridden for the right amount of seeds. Mitsu could see tiny scarelings in line to ride the pygmy ponies and some of the bigger scarelings in line to ride skeletal horses. It looked like they mostly went around in circles but the concept was kind of cute.

Beyond that there were jugglers and random feats being done like sword swallowing and fire breathing. Mitsu looked on at them in awe her ears pivoting forward when she heard the loud booming voice from a rather short stout man standing by the largest tent at the end of the path.

"Ghooooooouls and Booooooils! Scarelings of all ages!" His voice reached with clarity to the very edges of the circus capturing the attention of everyone with ease. "Welcome to the most extravagant extravagancy the eye can behold! Welcome to the Cosmic Brothers most spectacular show in all of Halloween!!!" When he was certain he had everyone's attention he continued.

"The extraordinary grandeur! The majestic grace! The danger! Every act, every animal parade is all to captivate and entertain! As the band plays we will see clowns, jugglers, acrobats, exotic minis, and death defying feats! Its truly a spectacular event that can not be missed! Join us as our next show is about to begin!!!"

Shun didn't say anything else on the matter, just sort of furrowing his brow. Well, having scarelings wouldn't be for some time anyway. They were still rather young, which had him wondering what made Mitsu think of them. Had Lizzy gotten to her? He knew that the demon apparently wanted a lot of scarelings. He frowned a little at the thought.

These things soon sank to the back of his head as they were pretty much at the circus now. He idly gazed at a few things here and there, but for the most part, he didn't pay a great amount of attention to the various performers and creatures around.

What did catch his attention though, was the one shouting an announcement to all.

"They're starting soon. I doubt we'll be able to get any of them to speak while that's going on," he commented. So it was just a matter of waiting.

"Would you like to wait out here or watch?"

Mitsu seemed to be captivated just like the rest of the crowd that was already filing inside the tent. When Shun asked if she would rather wait or watch Mitsu pointed to the tent with a smile. It sounded exciting and she wanted to see what was going on. She had never seen a circus before and from the announcement it seemed like it would be quite an event.

Before Shun could change his mind she looped her arm through his and tugged him lightly toward the tent. She had yet to notice that the sounds and smells of the circus had alerted Ziggy that something was up. The feline shuffled inside the bag as if trying to figure out what was going on.

At first, Shun raised a brow, but then shrugged it off and went on into the tent after her as she tugged him along rather excitedly. There were a lot of darker colors around here he noticed. Looking around, he just sort of let out a breath before making his way towards the seating area. They might as well try and get a good spot if they were going to watch. All in all, though, he wasn't too thrilled. But, the show couldn't be too long, right?

Once he sat down, he just wrapped an arm around Mitsu's waist to try and get comfortable.

"Do you want a snack or drink? I think there's some people selling a few things around here.."

Might as well, right?

They entered the tent alongside the others. Despite her excitement Mitsu stayed close keeping a constant hold on Shun's arm. Shun led them to the front where they managed to get a pretty good seat and Mitsu shrugged her bag off her shoulders and set it in front of herself in the mean time.

As the crowd continued to file in beings and creatures of all types dressed in bright colors began to emerge from behind the stands with stubby little cats dressed in much the same way. Clowns. They were there to keep the crowd entertained before the show began doing silly things or making animals, toppling over one another, and a variety of other things. There was no such thing called keeping their distance. They were right up in the stands with the crowd, the felines bouncing about the smaller scarelings stirring them up and getting them to laugh and giggle.

Mitsu was finally pulled away from the spectacle when Shun asked her a question and she nodded enthusiastically looking around to see what there was to have. It seemed there were a few vendors. Some that flew over the crowd allowing them easy access to drop in and give the treats they had and get payment before flying off. She could see a variety of things from candy, nuts and drinks. It was finally something large, fluffy and colorful that caught her attention and Mitsu pointed toward the cotton candy cobwebs that one vendor held over their head.

On the other hand, Shun wasn't too impressed with the things the clowns and such were doing. He just sort of watched while waiting for Mitsu to answer him. Looking to where she pointed, he nodded and flagged down the cotton candy cobweb vendor. They were pretty big, and since he wasn't a huge sweet tooth personally, he didn't want one for himself. He could just take some bits off of hers instead.

Buying one, he paid the vendor, then gently handed the fluffy candy thing to his lycan.

He also went ahead and tore off a small bit of fluff for himself. And it was indeed pretty damn sweet. But not bad.

Mitsu's eyes were the size of saucers when Shun handed over the cotton candy cobwebs. It was a bright orange and despite the chunk that Shun took no one would have been the wiser, there was just so much of it. Experimentally Mitsu leaned her head forward and nibbled at it, the candy dissolving instantly against her tongue. She wasn't sure of the flavor but mostly it just tasted of sugar which was fine with her. Smiling she nibbled a little more of it, bits of the candy getting stuck to her cheeks with this eating method.

The crowd coming in was starting to thin and there were considerably more people in the tent than Mitsu remembered seeing outside. It was a large area and most of the seats were taken. The curtains finally closed on the last few stragglers and the clowns began to make their way to the main area as the lights dimmed. Whatever was going to happen it was going to happen soon.

Ziggy on the other hand was restless now, wiggling inside the bag until she managed to push the zipper up just enough to look out. The noise of the crowd hit her and the little acrobat's eyes began to sparkle with playfulness. It was like she knew this setting.

"Looks like things are about to begin."

Satisfied with his small chunk, Shun just began to idly eat it. Carefully. It was kind of sticky and he didn't want to get it all over the place. For now he kept his eye on the area ahead, not noticing that Ziggy had popped her head out of Mitsu's bag.

"How's the cobweb?" he asked quietly while glance towards the werewolf.

Ah.

She was making a little bit of a mess. His expression softened for a moment and he reached out to take a small bit that was stuck from her cheek. He may need to help clean her up later.

Mitsu nodded her focus up front as the lights dimmed to darkness. She only looked over to Shun when she felt him brush against her cheek and saw he came back with a piece of cotton candy. Embarrassed she rubbed at her face but it seemed she had already made a mess of herself and it was sticky. "It's...good." She whispered. Obviously.

When the tent was in complete darkness a single light on the center ring came to life growing brighter until the person at center stage was well illuminated. It was a tall full figured woman dressed like nothing less than a ring master. The clowns had vanished from sight and the tent seemed to be empty aside from the woman at center stage and the audience.

"Ghoouls and Booils greetings! Thank you for joining us on this adventure of wonderment!" Her voice carried much like the man's had at the front of the tent. "Our first spectacle is certainly not one to be missed. So sit back and be amazed as our acrobats sore overhead, none with the aid of wings or even the safety of a net!"

The ringmaster held her hands high and the single light on her dimmed away until the stage far above the ground came to light. It looked like a series of platforms, tight wires, swings, and hoops. The group that stood on the platforms was just as the ringmaster described, wingless and in slim fitting uniforms that glittered under the light. They smiled and waved at the crowd before they went to work. It seemed a few of them had a feline companion and it was those that got the most attention as they performed stunts on the high wire or leaped from one swing to the other while doing flips.

There was one man in particular that seemed to steal the show, doing daring stunts while his black acrobat flipped and somersaulted with him. It was hard to say why he looked a little familiar, it was only during brief moments where he was concentrated that Mitsu felt that he looked like someone.

Ziggy on the other hand had managed to wiggle half of her body out of Mitsu's bag and was staring up at the acrobats with wide eyes of wonder. Her whole body shook with excitement and she was quick to wiggle the rest of the way free and take off toward one of the poles that lead up to the platform and began to scale it with ease.

A faint smile washed over his lips as he saw her try to clean herself up.. only to make it worse. Yeah, he was going to need to help her with that later on. Nodding to her, his focus soon shifted to the light at the center of the ring. Ah. That must be the ringmaster.

Shun watched as the acrobats began to do their work. Well, the feat was rather impressive. After all, that sort of thing required a considerable amount of skill and physical prowess. One guy in particular was extra impressive. Though, he soon caught sight of a green blur in the corner of his eye. Turning towards it, he saw Ziggy racing off towards one of the poles. Standing up, he hissed out a curse.

"Kuso... Dammit Ziggy," he hissed before turning towards Mitsu. They couldn't really run out there to retrieve the cat, but he wasn't really sure what to do about it. She could seriously mess something up here! Especially if she decided to claw up someone's face like she seemed to enjoy doing to him.

Mitsu had been intent on watching the acrobats, she hadn't once thought to check on Ziggy since the feline mostly slept. It wasn't until Shun hissed out his usual response to the feline did Mitsu's eyes grow large and look toward her bag. As soon as she saw that the zipper was pulled back she froze her heart slowly sinking into her stomach.

Turning quickly Mitsu started to reach for Ziggy to grab her off of her reaper but....she wasn't there. Her plan of action had been to grab her and stuff her back in her bag before they made too much of a ruckus but....the feline wasn't where she expected her to be. She looked around Shun to make sure she hadn't gotten a hold of him somewhere else until she finally saw where he was looking.

No....no she couldn't have. She..wouldn't.

But sure enough as Mitsu turned her head she saw Ziggy nearing the top of the platform and bounding across the tight wire like she had done it all her life. The lycan paled instantly her fluffy treat falling from her grasp and to the ground at her feet. There was no way she was going to be able to get Ziggy from all the way up there. All she could do was....hope nothing bad happened.

As it turned out the cat seemed to have a target in mind, the man who had captivated the audience with his stunts and the stunts of his feline companion. Ziggy raced across the tight wire and leaped to the closest swing as it came back toward her. She clung to the bar poised and ready to pounce but the man seemed to realize she was there just in time.

The audience gasped as the feline leaped toward his face but missed as he swung down and clung to the bar with his legs. His feline companion bounced away, flipped, and landed on the swing that Ziggy had just abandoned. For a moment it seemed like the green acrobat cat was doomed but she managed to catch the bottom of a hanging ring and pulled herself back up. It took her no time to get high enough again and the chase continued. After a while of silly stunts and miraculous dodges the audience wasn't just gasping but cheering and laughing. They thought it was all part of the show.

Meanwhile, Mitsu was in the audience acting like her heart was about to stop. She had no idea what to do and was in a full out panic attack.
