Well, I am not sure why you have not heard any of the good ones, Beta. Maybe you just need to be around humans a little more to understand the other side,"Mila told her. She could only imagine Beta did not know much more about humans than she did, even though her mother had a chosen human.

"Maybe. Or maybe they just didn't understand love either," Beta suggested. "Concepts are harder to explain than things like watches." Concepts were abstract. They didn't have colors or other physical characteristics to describe them with like watches or coins did. They were harder to describe.

Jaromila looked thoughtful, her tail swishing back and forth as she tried to see if that made sense to her.
Hmmm, you could be on to something, maybe it is confusing to humans too. Also, maybe there are good things and bad things about love, depending on how you look at it,"Mila mused.

Beta nodded her agreement. "And it depends on who you're in love with," she added. Some people said they were in love, but they sure didn't look like it.

Jaromila nodded her head, thinking it was quite possible that was probably a factor as well.
Also, maybe their sayings are not exact, trying to give an example other humans would understand,"Mila added. She tried to think if there were things that that Azrein said that most humans would not unerstand.

Beta nodded again. "Some things that humans say to each other don't make much sense if you're an Azrien," she agreed. Like lending a hand; Azrien didn't have hands, so the expression was a little strange to use. "And some things Azrien say to each other probably wouldn't make much sense to humans."

Yes, I was just wondering myself and I do believe there are probably things confusing to them as well. I suppose that might be one of the reasons Azrein and humans bond, to teach each other,"Mila spoke.

Beta smiled brightly. "I like that idea." Coming together to share knowledge and teach each other new things... that was a wonderful way to think of bonding.

I hope one day to find my own human to bond with, someone to share information with. For now, I suppose I will just have to learn from Lady Dea and those she knows,"Mila nodded.

Jaromila's nodded her head again, feeling they would both find humans who would love them like Lady Dea loved Serenity. She smiled softly at the thought, then looked over to Lady Dea.
Do you agree with us, Lady Dea?"Mila asked, Dea nodding her head.

Beta danced in place as she focused on Dea again. "Will your friend be here soon?" she asked excitedly. She wanted to see a cartwheel!

Jaromila was excited too, but she tried not to look it, since she was trying to mind her manners.

"Do not worry, I am sure he will come. And actually he is my brother-in-law, so he is family,"Dea explained.

Edward was even then making his way over to Dea. His brother saw him and promptly pounced him happily. After a quick old fashioned scuffle the two humans regained their feet and Al went to Dea's side.
Ed bowed to the azrein present. "You summoned Dea dear?"
