So, Draven found his focus again. Clean up. More trash here, more there. Really, people needed to learn what a trash bin was for. He knew everyone had been running around having a great old time, but was it really that hard to throw things away properly? Judging by the growing amount of trash the boil was holding, yes. Draven sighed as he dropped off one armful of random trash. See using a proper disposal site wasn't that difficult. If people would only-- The trash bin moved. And Draven's first thought was simply, It's trying to eat me. He was not wrong. The thing was practically swallowing him whole, after all. "Hey! Hey now! Stop it! Let me out!" Draven yelled and beat on the insides of the container. It didn't seem to be chewing or anything, so Draven didn't exactly panic. He rather methodically hit the thing and tried to free himself. After what seemed like forever, the trash bin released it's hold on the demon boil. Feathers fully ruffled, Draven scowled at the thing for several long moments. So that was why no one had been using a trash bin properly. It all made sense now. Shaking his head, Draven returned to cleaning. This was going to be a long day. Quote: 21 - 40: As you put your garbage into the garbage bin, it tries to eat you up whole. It takes you a while for you to separate from it.

Seiji was late in coming around to do his part of the clean up after Fright Night had ended. It wasn't on purpose, he'd meant to show up sooner, but he'd gotten delayed by another mess in his dorm when he got up that morning. His pets, generally well behaved, had found the remains of a snack he'd gotten the night before and tore it, along with the wrapper, to shreds all over his bedroom. After scolding the trio of minis he'd picked up all the little pieces they'd littered all over his room, then dressed and get his a** down to the grounds to help out. Once there he wasted little time in hunting down his ghoulfriend and giving her a peck on the cheek. "Hey Gorgeous, sorry I'm late. Did I miss anything exciting?" He set to work immediately with grabbing himself a large bag and cramming handfuls of wrappers and decorations into it, but stopped when he heard his name. At first he glanced to Junko, thinking maybe she'd called to him, but it hadn't actually sounded like her. It hadn't sounded like anyone he knew, come to think of it. This made him straighten up, head turning to scan the gathering of students around them for anyone that might have been looking in his direction as if they'd wanted to get his attention. There were plenty of new faces, but not a single one was looking his way. Frowning, the ghost turned back to his work. If it was important then surely the person would do a better job of getting his attention then saying his name in a whispery name.

Despite the growing anxiety that had been welling up in the ghoul at the strange occurrences, spotting another student falling into the garbage bin's trap brought a small, wry smile to her face. Of course, she would have been far less amused had the other boil been in actual danger (actually, she probably would have panicked and attempted to pry open the blasted bin), but having gone through the same incident herself, Xiu was certain that he would be fine.
Sure enough, the other student managed to pull himself out with minimal damage. Xiu glanced up at Shun, looking as if she was unsure whether to grimace or to smile.
"It did that to me too."
Cupping her hands around her mouth, she looked back to the other boil, calling out to him. "Are you alright? No serious harm done, yes?" Of course, after she had asked, Xiu was also very tempted to follow up with a question on whether or not he had seen anything strange. Though, considering the fact that a number of nervous looking students had gathered together to chat...she assumed that pretty much everyone had noticed something going on.
The baku went right back to looking concerned and frowning then.

That was a little more concerning. While his own full name wasn't widely known, it wasn't anything like a demon's. But, quite frankly, Shun wasn't sure what could be the cause of such a phenomenon. Even the hunters shouldn't have that sort of information... right? "I would.. just stay alert. It may be harmless but something is not quite right here.."He was glad he didn't try to get Mitsu out today. This would likely scare her. As Xiu looked to see another student getting eaten up by the garbage bin, he nodded with a sigh. "Same," he said flatly. But, unruly garbage bins was more along what might be normal. The name thing, not so much.

Sin decided to let Junko be once she spotted the ghouls boilfriend arriving. "I'll catch you later Junko, maybe we can go fabric shopping and you can show me new designs?"
She was a bit disturbed by the fact that it seemed others had heard voices calling them and seen strange things. She shivered and walked away wondering if she should just forget about cleaning up and get back to her dorm. Usually an uneasy feeling and everyone being on edge meant something bad was going to happen...and usually bad meant hunters. She took a deep breath and tried to forget the feeling of being trapped in a cage. Sin heard Belladonna's scream and almost jumped in the air, her wings certainly flapped open.
Oh really Sin...stop being paranoid. Except that paranoia at Amityville was probably a very healthy thing. She stalked away from the empty booths but paused when she spotted Ace and Yin. It couldn't hurt to stop for a moment, she wasn't going to run from her whispered name like a little scareling.
"Hello Handsome." She murmured as she walked over to where Yin and Ace were picking up.
She decided to leave it to them to figure out which one she was addressing, but considering her obvious preference for demons...She turned and smiled at Ace.
"Not still trying to pawn off more packs of Halloween Heroes are you? You'll have to teach me to play sometime so I won't just be a clueless collector."

When his back was to Yin, Ace was doing the classic angry child routine of curling up his face and sticking his tongue out while pretending to be Yin. "hmfph i guess its like wahtever so.." He continued to mumble and clean up despite every effort his knees put into trying to give out. Then they just about did when Sin approached scaring him out of his skin. "N-not trying to paw- Ohhhhh no I already put them away at my dorm. When we're done doing this clean-up... thing I might go open a few I dunno," he shrugged and crumpled up an empty cardboard food packet.

When the ghoul walked up, someone he at least faintly recognized from helping pick up undergarments near her booth, Yin still felt highly on edge. The murmur...immediately he glanced over to Ace. Yes, that was who she was talking too. Not him. Not him at all. Still he edged away slightly until it was clear that Ace was closer to her than he was. Talking about Halloween Heroes? Yes, yes this was all very good. Just...keep talking about that. He moved around the pair, picking up trash. Sacrificing Ace to the female.

"I don't mind cleaning up. We made most of the mess so it's only fair we take responsibility." Though she had heard the threat of this being a two year sentence.
Good thing she was graduating soon anyway. No two years nonsense for Junko!
"So everyone is hearing it...that's..odd, I think." Last time Junko had heard strange voices it had been on that island. Ugh. She shuddered until there was suddenly a pair of cool lips against her cheek. Junko blinked and looked up, her cheeks flushing as she smiled up at Seiji. "Hello, stranger. You haven't missed much...I think Bul got eaten by a trash bin." Junko looked around for where she had caught a glimpse of him. Strange predicament, that.

While Sin knew her beauty could be quite alarming she had a feeling something else had the boils on edge. She tilted her head and then frowned slightly.
"You two okay? Haven't been seeing or hearing anything odd have you?" Hmm, maybe everyone was just tired?
She forced a smile and tried not to look too worried herself. She was a bit surprised to see Ace picking up, but he didn't seem very happy about it. "This cleaning? I know, I know bothersome isn't it? After all that's what gnomes are for." She laughed and then moved to help the boils pick up.

Diana sighed at the mess that was once the fright night festival. She figured that she might as well start helping to clean up. After all, she didn't want someone to think that she wasn't doing her part to help with the monster-esque clean up job. She grabbed a trash bag and went to one of the areas that no one was in yet and grinned slightly as she spotted what seemed to be a fright night token. Quickly she bent down and grabbed it up only to sigh in frustration. "What the.. It's only a wrapper." she growled out before putting it into her trash beg and looking around. Only to find several more of the wrappers sitting on the ground in various piles, She shook her head wondering what nut job did this mess but then put her thoughts aside as she began to clean up the mess. Once she had picked up the last empty wrapper she sighed and sat down on one of the many benches with her wings drooping slightly. That had been more work than she thought it would be when she had started. However, she knew that she still had more to do so she moved on to the next job.

"Right??!" Ace exclaimed back at Sin and shook his head after standing on his tippy toes to put some more trash on the lids for someone else to dispose of later. "You'd think with all the seeds we raised this wouldn't be a problem.." he groaned.
He glanced over at Yin noticing him shy away a little. Maybe then he wouldn't bother about not picking up. "Good to know my 'hard earned' wages are not going to gnomes though, I do suppose.."

Be it the real deal or a trick, Calder didn't care. He heard Amrita's voice, and soon the clip-clopping of hooves sounded before he noticed the ghoul through the fog, rushing past everyone to grab her. "It's happening again!"

Okay? Okay in an oddly thick fog with an almost scandalous ghoul around? But she was helping them out, and he did know her, from Valentines as well, and so while he could not relax, it was impossible to in the fog, he did not necessarily worry about her. He opened the trash can to put his own trash in, then tilted it so Ace's fell in as well. Had the boil seriously never learned to pick up trash? "It is just a little work," Yin said with a light shrug. He was used to work, he sometimes did work the gnomes would rather spare a seed for rather than do it themselves. It also helped not being able to smell much of anything that did not resemble prey. "It is better to just do it and save your money."Yin might have been making it painfully obvious that he was not a demon.

Free of the thrash bin, and still keeping an eye on it because you never know what might follow you, Draven heard someone calling out. He glanced around, and sure enough, a ghoul was asking him if he was alright. Oh, Jack, someone had seen that. "No harm done, no. I'm fine," he nodded and grinned, standing up straighter to emphasize the point. It had been a bit shocking, but yeah, nothing he wasn't hurt. Draven glanced at the other students, noticing that many seemed a bit wary of things. He looked back to the ghoul. "Did it try to eat you, too?" It was worth asking. Kaiyumi Random interaction is loved! I am just sad I have to run away from the internet all day now. orz

"That's for sure," Xiu murmured in response to Shun, tugging on his sleeve as she jerked her head in the direction of the other students, "It looks like everyone has noticed something strange. Did you see the disappearing footsteps too?" There was a beat of silence, and then she stared up at him scruntinizingly.
"Wait, that wasn't you shadow stepping everywhere, was it, aniki?"
When the other boil assured her that he was alright, Xiu offered him a friendly smile, her expression wry as she turned to eye the garbage bin. "Unfortunately, yes. It...wasn't pleasant, to say the least." And she imagined that Shun had been none too happy about the bin trying to eat him either. Tilting her head at the unfamiliar boil, she lifted a hand and pointed at herself with a smile.
"My name is Xiu, and this is anik--er--Shun. And you are...?"
