When she pulled the candy out though, Clove whipped its head around and gave her the biggest puppy eyes ever.

Something seemed off about the last candy though. It had a truly terrifying aura to it, almost a miasma. He quickly tossed it onto the counter (as if the Drutten would eat it! But he wasn't going to either) and took off.

Lumikki had seen a few booths around but one she thought was particularly interesting was the minipet appreciation one. Walking up to it she could see the various goodies and the games that could be plaid. As she got closer she noticed some collars that seemed interesting, she'd have to ask about them in a bit but first off she wanted to play the game possibly. Reaching her hand in to the jar she pulled out a piece of candy that seemed a little odd, there was something else not entirely candy in there. "Ah...that's interesting" Oh...uhm...who was in charge...she thought as she looked around and spied a ghoul she wasn't sure but thought she could ask her anyways, Prolixity I would like to if I could get a Silver chain with the following emblem

Well, that was one candy pocketed, now to see what else the jar held for him. It seemed like his fingers were seeking out the ones with tokens this time around as he unwrapped it.

She had reached in and picked up another one, hoping it would taste better, or... at least be green tea. Seeing the little drutten whine and beg was SO cute.
... but nope. As she lifted this candy up to her mouth to consume, she caught the smell of it and gagged.
When the drutten wasn't looking, she chucked it.
Hesitant to pick another one, she calmed herself, and reached it once again.
It was... oh, a wrapped token.
Well, that wasn't so bad.

Sin appreciated her minipets, and candy, so really visiting this booth was a win win. She paused to reach her hand into the jar and pulled out a piece of candy with a smile. It had taken a whole lot of encouragement and coaxing, but Thackery finally managed to bring Kari along with him for the last few moments of the festival. She draped herself lazily across his shoulder, eyes only focusing on something if she deemed it worth her while.
And Siddie's booth had a lot of that. The bakekitsune perked up at the sight of all of the lovely accessories, propping herself up with the help of Thackery's arm to get a better look of them all.
Waiting for her to pick her favorite - and she would, he was sure - he snuck a candy for her. Unfortunately, it was a flavor she immediately turned her nose up to and batted away. He pocketed it. Surely someone would like it.

As Kari continued to peruse the selection, making small noises of approval every now and then, Thackery tried to appease her with another candy. She sniffed this one and gave him a brisk slap on the hand, as if the sheer idea of it offended her.
Sometimes he wondered if he'd done anything to make her this picky.
