☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxClosing his eyes while slightly moving his hands in front of him as if he were playing a piano, the middle of the Phantomen trio gave a soft sigh as the tune to Never-Ending Story by Within Temptation played on the piano a few feet away. “Now you're choosing the right questions, Miss Ky'lith. Well, all except for the first question. Sun elves dislike the night unlike their brethren elves who dislike the sun. Think of it more like the sun elves and moon elves as two sides of the same coin. What one side likes, the other dislikes and vice-versa. It's natural for the sun elves to only be active during the day while the moon elves are only active at night,” he smiled lightly while still not moving much other than the feigning of playing the piano..
xXx“To answer your other questions, unlike the mischievous and lively folk that faeries, sprites and pixies, banshees are messengers of death. It's common for those who are lively to disagree with those constantly dealing with death. As for the intermixing of elven races let alone any species, you run across a forbidden act of nearing a hybrid of all things. While these hybrids can be made, it's natural for parts of themselves not to settle well with each other which leads to instability. With every species added onto a hybrid, the far less stable they become. In all truth, only one of the ultimate hybrids have ever been created and documented, but no one is sure whether or not he still exists to this day considering how highly unstable he was documented to be,” he explained before stopping the motion of his fingers and settling his hands in his lap again. Well it was believed that such a thing existed although there were few details on such a thing ever written down. Besides that, how could these supposed scientists that'd recorded this hybrid male get a hold of the viruses that their uncle had created just before their uncle's death... Feeling his eye twitch, he now knew an even darker question to ask Eric! “Any other questions?”

Ky'lith smiled and her quill finished taking notes once Yue's answers had stopped. " Can you tell me a few things about... demons?" She bit her lip, thinking of how to specify her question. "I mean, what their powers are like? The different forms of them? What would happen if a fey creature and a demon were to breed...?" She was nervous and eager for an answer, hoping to receive the answer to a few questions she was keeping in her mind. She was very glad to have come across someone so wise, even if they got off on the wrong foot.

☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXx“Demons?” he echoed almost absent-mindedly while sifting through his thoughts. She wanted to know of their forms? Their powers? The breeding of them with the fey? This would be difficult to explain over all. Taking a slow breath, he started tapping a finger against his stomach while contemplating how to word this topic. “There are many types of demons and many classes of demons so it might be a bit harder to explain than the fey folk's Seelie and Unseelie Courts. One of these types of demons are the phantoms; our people. We were considered demons of the abyss after all. Our demonic classification would be about demon general level although we're just a bunch of scientists.”
xXxScratching his cheek, Yué gave a soft sigh before relaxing in his chair and lightly moving his foot as if conducting an orchestra. “Demons have many forms although their level of strength determines how human they appear. How human they appear determines their class. There are spider demons, wolf demons, dog demons, cat demons, bat demons, snake demons, shadow demons, water demons, fire demons, wind demons, earth demons, lizard demons, abysmal demons, incubi, succubi, hunters, shapeshifters and berserkers... They can take on many forms in many shapes and sizes,” he continued calmly as he mentally let images of each kind of demon flash through his head as he listed them. “Our father said that there was a species that was greater than the demons though... They were able to use all of the Shadow Roads unlike the cait sidhe and shadow demons, but they were supposedly destroyed by the beings of light. Demons and fey have bred before and all it's really done is strengthened the senses and physical strength. The only difference is that they have a harder time controlling their demonic halves. Both species need permission to enter a place that may seem closed off like a house.”

Ky'lith nodded as she listened to the explanations. "And... What would happen if one of those other.... species were to still exist?" She gulped nervously. Was it bad for her to know a few of these things already? And what would happen if she lost control of her demon half, like her brother had? She was frightened, and she knew that the only way to calm down was to know more.

Flashlights and normal fires will be snuffed out by darkness and dark clouds will cover the stars and the moon. Skeletons will begin crawling out of oddly designed red circles that look almost like an alchemy circles on every wall, ceiling and floor as the room will grow so cold you can see your breath. That is what is rumored at the very least. Considering it hasn't happened yet, people have slowly forgotten about them as they did the phantoms and the Phantomlands... I suppose only the forgotten remember those who are forgotten,” he answered as honestly as he could. It was really just a legend their father had told them when they were younger. It had caught Yué, Eric's and Torithyn's attention and captured their interest to even this day. Eric had attempted finding these creatures amongst ancient texts and still had nothing but mere legend to go by. “Anything else you have to ask?”

Ky'lith watched as Yue recounted what he knew of the creatures, at which point she had begun drawing on a separate sheet of paper on her pad. She handed the sheet to Yue once he finished; a drawing of an area in a dark forest, depicting a cave hidden by a waterfall black as ink. She was silent, but let him look it over and waited for him to ask if he wished to know how she knew of the spot.

☆ XXEternal LifeXX xXxBriefly skimming the picture with his eyes, a look of something like fear and caution mixed together in the one deep blue eye flecked with green, purple, red and silver. Studying it a bit more, Yué sat up straight and slid his mask off of the piano. “How do you know of this?” he almost seemed to hiss as he slid the mask back on over the top half of his face. The hand that hadn't moved from his side had a couple flecks of silver flicker briefly near his hand and any sign that seemed friendly before now seemed overly cautious.

Ky'lith watched Yue cautiously replace his mask and spoke quietly. "My brother went there a few times when I was young, he used to bring me with him. He had a friend that was there all the time, he never came to see us even though he loved seeing the dragons. I remember my brother explaining to me once that if his friend came with us, bad things could happen, but that we were safe there with our father's magic..." She started to play with her quill as she explained, wondering how Yue would react to this. "A lot of the darker elves live there, and even more banshees. But no other creatures; no dragons, no fairies, no wolves... Just very dark things. It wasn't so bad there, even my dragon didn't freak out a lot as long as my brother was nearby. Everything there is quiet if you don't get too close to its territory, they don't seem too interested in getting into a fight with outsiders that are okay there. But if we stayed too long, my dragon would start getting sick and I would feel like a whole other person; like I didn't care about anyone anymore, like I didn't want to leave."

Ky'lith turned to Christi when she asked her question. "Technically, you've spoken to quite a few." She smiled, trying not to scare the girl. " Seeing them is one thing, but you've done more than that. I think at this point, we can be considered common considering how many are in this school alone."

If you'd have gone into the very back of the cave, you'd have found things beyond your wildest imagination. In all technicality, your brother and yourself were invading the Phantomlands. Well it was the border at the very least. If you'd have continued for about 3.4 kilometers north of that cave, you'd have seen the barren wastelands that we came from,” Yué responded in an icy tone of voice. Shifting his mostly deep blue eyes towards Christi, he nodded slightly. “You've been apologizing to one, you're talking to one now, she's got a bit in her although it's so faint you could hardly call it demonic... Need I really continue? Yes, they're common here. Some demons are cruel and vicious, terrifying even, but then there are some like Eric who would rather die than let someone else suffer. They are far and few between, but they still exist. If anything, Tori's one of the few main things you should fear.”

Ky'lith nodded obediently. "My brother never let me very far into the cave, only a few dozen feet in. He always said I couldn't go with him because I'm too 'innocent' and left me outside of the cave with my dragon and his friend when he went all the way through the cave. He described it to me once, and it was scary, but not completely terrifying. Once, his friend told me that there's still a race of ancient creatures of the Dark Realm hiding around there..." Ky'lith looked up at Yue as he told Christi about how faint her demonic genes were curiously. "Is that why no one ever let me be there alone or often, because it's so faint in me?"

We're not as ancient as the ones I was telling you of, but we were forgotten nonetheless after a war that's still in the midst of being active yet again should anyone allied with the Northern Vampire Kingdom find out that Eric, Tori and myself are still alive. Those phantoms have been hiding for centuries, my dear. Eric specifically asked them to remain in hiding until we have our aunt back to working on the antivirus of the virus that's still continuing to mutate in Tori's veins,” he sighed while running his long, slender fingers through his dark silvery-grey hair. Keeping his hair pulled out of his face, he glanced back and forth between the two girls while contemplating on making Christi sit next to Ky'lith so he didn't have to keep shifting his gaze around the took. It was giving him a headache. “Yes, Miss Annalee. There are many who pretend to be human everywhere. Some even pretend to be faeries, elves, nephilim and vampires. Demons aren't a rare type of species and have been walking amongst humans since the dawn of time. Sit near Miss Ky'lith if you're going to ask me questions please. I'm getting a headache with all of this wishy-washy looking around the room. I have no idea as to how long Eric's going to be asleep and I think Tori's helping some lady with the little twins. Not positive on that and I highly doubt I could really care less what the little freak's doing.”
xxxClosing his eyes, Yué took in a slow breath while laying his hands back across his stomach. So many questions to answer... “No, Miss Ky'lith. The reason they wouldn't let you in the cave was because some of the bodies in there were killed because of a virus that made them become flesh eating zombies and mutated freaks. Due to the virus still remaining active even though the bodies no longer functioned, we intended to incinerate the bodies only for tragedy to strike our nation. Eric hasn't been able to deal with it as of yet and what remains of our species won't even touch those bodies, but they'll keep bugs and animals from eating the flesh of such defiled bodies. Due to your opening of demonic blood, it's possible that you could become infected through the airborne version of the virus that hovers inside the cave. Your lack of control over your demonic side would probably lead you into feasting upon the dead flesh also. It's just probabilities, but we weren't prepared for this virus to get out of the labs. If you became infected, we'd have to kill you. Tori's the only person ever to become infected and keep his sanity let alone a human form. He might be a bit of a cannibal and have no real schedule on when he needs to eat and sleep, but he's the closest thing we have for an antivirus let alone just killing the virus off completely. End of discussion on the cave,” he stated calmly.

Ky'lith nodded once Yue ended the conversation regarding the cave, and she realized her asking so much about it might be bothering him. She thought for a moment to decide what to ask next, and settled on smiling at him. "Thank you for teaching me."
