Jumping back up on the pad enthusiastically, Maggie picked a song and began humming along since she didn't know the words. Meixiang was going to have to pry her off this thing at some point.

After the awkwardness that had been incurred by wandering around the festival with her father, Mei finally returned to the booth. It didn't seem too busy currently, noting a few people coming and going. At least it seemed things were relatively in place. Alex was still here as was his mother. And someone she didn't know, but he was currently having a conversation with Alex's mother.
She had seen her father off earlier as he had business to attend to somewhere else in the city. Which was a small relief for her. Mei loved Renshu but he always treated her like she was still a little girl. She was almost an adult dammit.
Plopping back down into her chair, she propped her feet up onto the counter with her arms crossed over her chest. Leaning her chair onto only it's two back legs as she watched booth patrons come and go.

Ami wasn't a dancer. If you asked her at any other place, she would firmly deny ever shaking a leg in public. At home in the comfort of her room, sure, but never in public.
Except her reasoning now was that she wasn't Ami. She was some nameless cat thing, and nobody was going to remember her, or see her.
So dance she did. She got a horrible score, but hey, if it would earn her minipets for money, she'd do anything. She needed that hunter salary for clothes. Fashion was her life.[ total: 24, sn is chimarii ] Quote: Ami looks like this (bakeneko)

Ev had been drawn to the raging beats of another booth, to one that she wasn't quite sure what exactly was going on. There was a large screen with flashing lights, and a floor that also had blinking lights... that students were stepping on! Intrigued, she watched others give it a try before attempting herself; in a very sophisticated way, of course.

Deciding that twice just wasn't enough, Fallow had come back to the DDD booth again, this time nearly bouncing with pent up energy while he waited his turn. He'd tried to pull Dev along as well, but whether the cu sith had followed him or not was completely her choice.
Tail lashing, Fallow pulsed like a neon blue light bulb when the machine emptied up and he was able to give it a go, his fingers perusing songs with vigor before he finally found one that matched his intrigue. It was new, and he'd never heard it before, but the sampling seemed upbeat and worthwhile, and when he put it on, he couldn't help but let loose, ears whipping this way and that at the sound of music and arrows pinging this way and that.
This was definitely the best booth ever.
Now if only Fallow learned how to properly dance...

Since she hadn't visited the brightly lit up booth, Belladonna took a deep breath and advanced. Her luck had improved a little over the hour, but not by much. But still! She needed to visit Mei! And Alexander, only he wasn't there right now so just Mei.
The witch waved to the girl as she waited for her turn on the machine, but it wasn't long before it was empty and waiting for her. She tried to delay for a while by scrolling through the songs, but finally she found one that seemed pretty upbeat and well... Here goes nothing!
No, really. There went absolutely nothing.
It was exactly what the witch feared. She'd only been trained in classical dancing, and not very well trained at that, so she only managed to get so many steps in because she was an excellent stomper. But no combos, no perfect scores, nothing!
"Well. About that." She said out loud, to no one in particular.
She didn't say anything else about that.

Dancing?!
... On something that made noise and bleeped and buzzed and was wholly unnatural?
Manyara shied for a moment, then squared her shoulders and strode forward. She wasn't afraid of this contraption. Nope. Not at all. She warily jabbed at it, only to jump when the thing yelled "LET'S GO!" at her and started flashing lights. She ended up leaping up and down the entire time, and even kept jumping a little bit after, until some kind soul guided her off the pad.

Having decided to attempt the dancing game again, Aedan made his way back to the Dance Dance Dedolution booth, waiting patiently for his turn. Finally, making his way up onto the dance pad, Aedan gave it his best shot, hoping that he'd at least beaten his own last score...

Freya hopped up onto the DDD machine, and picked the hardest song she could find.
She was going to work off these calories, or she was going to die trying.

Senga really didn't want to be here.
Which made it extremely strange that he was now standing at the DDD machine, perusing songs for no reason whatsoever. Perhaps the holly-jolly-fright-night-festival-spirit had infected him, or maybe he'd lost his mind (he'd also lost his pelt) but somehow he'd ended up here of his own will... and somehow he'd ended up picking a song and settling back to watch the machine start up.
It was just matching arrows with the beat, right?
The things these guys came up with, really.
Still, the horseman gave it a go (only once he made sure none of his companions were around to see,) because really, why the ******** not.

Dancing? Solia tried to dance. Solia could try, but in the end, it didn't really matter. Israfel thought she was awesome anyway. That did matter to her. Total: 27OOC Appearance Solia is a 4 foot male (?) siren with the pattern/coloring of a cardinal. She sounds like a girl but thats okay because the golem looks rather girlish.

Ingrid didn't really like dancing... But she could still try. She hopped to the dance pad, picked a song, and when the song was about to start, she said, " Hopefully i'll get... Something. ".
Well, she was a total loser at dancing. She can't follow the beat! " Looks like my music skill is much more better than my dancing skills.... ", she sighed. She sat on the floor next to the machine. Her legs need some rest. " Maybe it'll be better if i just sit here and watch people dance. ".
