Mitsu wasn't sure what she was looking for as she made her way through the festival at random. She was just sure to stay clear of new people and people she barely knew. Somewhere along the way she spotted a booth, however. One with cards. Halloween Heroes. Turning to Shun Mitsu motioned toward the booth before moving closer to have a look. Was it a card game or something collectible? Intent to find out she lifted a booster pack to open. Carefully peeling back the wrapper Mitsu pulled out the cards to look them over. It looked like she had a bunch of commons which she really didn't mind. She didn't know much about the game or the cards in generally so it was amusing to look at the pictures. It seemed she had a couple of silver seeds, the haunted house, a fear candy, and what looked like Nurse Cricket's bugs. Near the end though she spotted something off and pulled out and oddly shiny card. It looked like a holo rare pumpkin pill. Holding the card up for Shun to see Mitsu pocketed the rest of her cards for the time being. Pepzilla I would like the trade the holo rare pumpkin pill for a token please~

Following Mitsu, Shun noticed that her attention shifted to one booth that seemed to have some sort of card game. It piqued his curiosity a bit as well, having never really dealt with such things growing up or anything like that. He recalled seeing some kids around playing similar things. Trading cards and stuff like that. Tilting his head, he grabbed a booster pack as well to see what it was all about while Mitsu did the same. He ended up with three cards that had a smiley spikey... thing. Fear core maybe? He wasn't sure. Two were silver seeds, one was a nergal, two flashlights, a haunted house, and what looked liked Cricket's bugs. "..."Yeah, he didn't get it. Though, when Mitsu held up a card, he turned and looked to see that she had gotten something different. The card shimmered for one thing. "Is that a special card?" he asked.

Mitsu nodded, she imagined it was, it was so much shinier than the rest of the cards. Looking toward Ace Mitsu shied away from him since she wasn't familiar with the boil and held out her card to Shun. Maybe the boil manning the booth could tell him about the card. Either way Mitsu wasn't going to get any closer. Nope.

Shun furrowed his brow for the moment as she passed him the card. He glanced to the one manning the booth... not particularly familiar with him. In fact, he hadn't really seen the guy before. Narrowing his eye, he glanced between the demon and the lycan, then moved a little closer to address him. "Is there anything special about this card?" he asked, though there was a hint of distrust in his good eye.

The traffic seemed to be slowing down right now at Ace's booth so when Mitsu and Shun showed up he looked a bit unenthusiastic. Even his tail remained rather limp when Shun took the initiative to ask him about the card Mitsu opened. "Special how? Money-wise its worth a decent seed and game-wise it revives a fallen creature in your discard pile. Ace pushed his bangs aside only to have them fall right back in the center of his forehead again. "Depends whether you're a collector, a player, or just want my wares," he added with a shrug.

The neeeerrdd boooth, as Kwasi thought of it privately, hadn't been one that he was leaping to go back to. In fact, he had only been passing by on the search for something edible and not disgusting, when he remembered that he had actually won something from it the previous time. Well what was the harm in stopping by again? Apart from catching nerditus, obviously.
Let's see, the ones with the black were the common ones, silver was ... less common? He had gotten a gold bordered one the time before, but no such luck this time. Shuffling them, he grumbled a bit, then tucked them in his back pocket. He'd dump them with the ones from the previous pack, in the pile of consolation prizes he'd amassed back at his dorm room.

Mitsu simply shrugged at Shun. She supposed she would trade it in. For now she only had the nine remaining cards in her hand and she was pretty sure she would need a lot more to play...and that would require money she really didn't have. Might as well get something out of it right?

Making his way back to the TCG booth, Aedan found the cards...rather addictive. He was keeping a list of the cards he'd gotten thus far, hoping to get one of each card, eventually. Snagging another booster pack, he opened it up. Fanning them out, as per his usual, he was pleased to see he'd gotten a new uncommon card.

Another pack, another pack without shiny cards. She frowned and threw them over her shoulder into the pile that was amassing on the table.
"You told me I would get shiny ones!" she whined. Being a card collector was apparently not all it was cracked up to be.

The next pack Eisheth received from Ace, who seemed to be quite interested in her luck, was plainly hilarious. Looks like the alchemist finally hit the limit of Random Card Gods grace: unfolding the pack she uncovered 5 common silver seeds and 5 common Malcolm's Staffs. " Well....", she had to comment. " Nobody can be lucky all the time". Pepzilla Can I ask for a promo card ticket consolation prize, please? smile
