Lizzy's eyes widened when Mike struck down one of the hunters, and she found herself staring at the man, willing the growing pool of blood to stop. The offer to kill the remaining hunters wasn't even taken into consideration. She might had been too tired to speak, but she wholeheartedly agreed with what Junko said; there was no way she was going to kill anyone, not even in a situation like this. Besides, she could tell that Mike... Wasn't quite right up in the head, judging from his actions and words.
However, that still did not prepare her for the explosion that followed.
Pushing herself off the ground with whatever energy she had left, the spider demoness piled her own body on top of Ofelia's, and squeezed her eyes shut. There was a moment of intense pain, and then suddenly, she couldn't feel anything anymore - there was just an unbearable heat, like her whole body was on fire...
However, for some reason, she couldn't help but feel that everything was going to be alright; as uncomfortable as dissipation was, there was still a slim chance of her returning by reforming somewhere. Hunters though? Although Professor QB once told her that they weren't really "human" anymore due to the bond they have with their weapons, there was no such thing as dissipation for them - only death.

Mot's pride as a gentlemen, however much it had been falling apart, was still important. But as Mot attempted to try to save the fragile hunters from the blast, he was blown away himself. When the students finally reformed, they would find themselves back at where they first started, the old cot where the professor had first introduced them to the two DETH associates. Both were talking loudly with each other.
"- Is horrible! They're just going to blame us for everything that happened! We had no clue that this was - was a Human, and - their own kind - this is just unheard of - "
< I understand your concerns, but I think you should consider your own safety first. >
"Yes, yes of course, I'll have to- I'll have to leave, pack up and- but Professor, this is - this is a horrible stain, this will tarnish our name even more and -"
< We will do what we can do. For now, let us get through this evening, hopefully without as much trouble. > The Professor turned around to the reformed students. < I am glad you are back with us, through these unfortunate series of events. It seems the Humans now blame us for the problem, but again, this is no longer in your hands. We can only appreciate you for trying to protect them. >
Wait, had he been there the entire time?
A portal was forming even as the professor continued talking. < But enough of this now: you should be back at your school. What has happened has happened. I hope I will still see you some time, there is much we need to fix. >
Had the students simply caught a situation at a bad time, or perhaps was there something a little more sinister at hand?

The Hunters would wake up to find themselves in the Infirmary. A half-asleep Moon Hunter startled, the second the first of the victims awoke. "Oh!" She seemed mostly off-guard, tired, pushing up her glasses. "I'm glad you made it through the night, some of us were unsure about your condition, but it looks like someone - or perhaps something - shielded you through the blast."
Perhaps some Hunters would remember now, the students as they -
- "Well anyway, next time you should leave a little more prepared. Halloween creatures, especially rogue ones are vicious, not matter how protected you think you are. We are only human after all."
That's right. They were only human.
