Bix glanced over the defenders shoulders and the horsemen laid into their barrier. He continued to do his part as best he could, which so far had been awful.

Heidla was definitely enjoying it, and her power increased proportionally. Her last blow was especially effective, so she looked around to see whether any of her acquaintances saw it. She was almost beaming (to Jack with the hunters, she finally managed to strike like a pro!) with it, and her eyes were definitely searching for Kiwi or Eisheth or Erintis or just anyone.... Under Medea's influence his strange anger abated, though Shik still held onto that which was naturally apart of him: the animalistic instincts that made his metaphorical hackles rise as more Hunters came. But this too he could derive joy from, for now Shaheen could shut her mouth and throw herself at the barrier as much as she wanted. Hopefully she'd expend some of the recklessness at the solid wall and smash some sense into her godsworn head.
But for the moment, the executioner enjoyed himself and cut a swarth across the barrier with savage glee.

Soren nodded in complete agreement. Hunters from before had been a bit harder to scare, but that just made it even more worthwhile. And in the end all humans would fall to the horsemen. They were superior, it only made sense. "These morsels might leave a bad taste," he pointed out as he continued to batter away at the barrier. Damage: 10 Distortion: 5 Turn: 4/5 Barrier HP: 56 I think

Melvin walked over broken stone and dust before falling in line behind the rest of the hunters who all seemed to stop. There was a wave of heat even he could feel as he slowly started to move around the group to see what was going on. Now having no prior meetings with horsemen, he was at a loss of who the woman was on the other side, but seeing as there seemed to be the entire rejected cast from Buffy the Vampire Slayer behind her, he could place a good bet that she was not with them. Then she split the ground between them for lava to bubble up and he was DEFINITELY sure she was not with them.
Oh man. We got some hell demon spawn going after us. I didn't bring any cross or stakes. How am I going to get past her?!

Oh, right. He fumbled for his pen, patting his pockets before he pulled her out. Not really sure how procedure went, he looked around and whispered "Change?' before the weapon did just that and he adjusted his grip to grab the gun before it had a change to drop. Right. Now he had a weird gun.
A gun he really didn't have a chance to use, which didn't matter to his weapon the moment insulted all of them as being 'worms'.

While Melvin was in mid-discussion on defending the honor of the creature who made his gun, the order was shouted that Life division was to go to the front and help Moon. LIfe. HIS DIVISION.
WHY DID HE HAVE TO GO UP FRONT?!!!!
Oh geez. Oh geez. He moved up alongside those that he saw had branches on his back, the ONLY way he knew they were in Life by what scraps of information he had about his division, and stood holding his gun and looking around to follow everyone else's lead. That's when the Hell Extras came in and started attacking. He had to help out Moon.
Moon. Moon. Who the hell had a coat with a moon on it?!! Melvin looked around for anyone who had anything resembling a moon on their jacket.

Despite the mask limiting his field of vision, Wilson could still see a horseman heading toward him. His muscles stiffened before he broke away from the line and ducked. He hurriedly kicked the horseman away. After taking a few seconds to calm his nerves and steady himself, he began to support the barrier again.

He continued to stand by the barrier, his arms raised to keep it up. Wilson couldn’t help but wince as they continued to whittle away at it. Not good. Not good at all. He sincerely hoped reinforcements would arrive soon, but he wasn’t going to bet on it.
