Nerine came into the room Marcus was in with eggs and french toast with some orange juice. She sat down next to him and set the plate in front of him "This will give you some strength back." She told him with a warm smile. ✼

He sighed as he turned and walked off towards the room he had left Nerine at and sighed as he sat down next to her, smiling softly as he wondered what she would have planned for them to do today.

After a couple of seconds he finally started to settle down and relax, feeling his exhaustion catch up with him.

Marcus fell asleep shortly after she started to rub his hair, breathing slowly and steadily. After about a half hour, something wet could be felt on her leg, tears having started to roll down his cheeks onto his legs as his mind started its fight with the madness in him once again.

Marcus twitched slightly in his sleep, hearing her humming and seeming to calm down slightly. He ended up biting his lip in his sleep and drawing blood, the pain and taste of the blood helping his mind anchor itself against the madness. Inside his head, Marcus walked down a spiraling road, unable to see anyone or anything as he walked. He grumbled slight as he rubbed his temples and simply continued to walk. Well, I'm asleep and it's the same thing again. Long never ending road that spirals like a hypnotists wheel. I wonder how far I'll make it this time. Now let's get going. He charged forward as he usually did, but as soon as he started, images and visions assaulted him. Each one was different and never cohesive with the last, but each was filled with intent on not only preventing him from making it to the end, but also to drive him insane for trying.
