"I suppose the teachers could be a little more involved. But I've always preferred to figure things out by myself," Yae said in an arrogant tone. She smiled when Sakurayuki said she'd make a good medic-nin. It wasn't apparent to Yae why she thought that, but she wouldn't question a compliment. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I should probably get back to training, in fact."
She frowned a bit during the character descriptions. Sakurayuki seemed to think Yae would like all the other classmates, but she wasn't sure what made her so certain. At least she knew their names now (everyone but the Inuzaka girl, and Fudou's sparring partner.)
"Oh. Don't stay because of me. I should get back to my training anyway. Thank you again, Sakurayuki-san. It was nice talking to you." Yae smiled before standing up.

"Well, I guess we'll both go ahead and finish our training then, ne?" Sakura said as she stood up from her seat and stretched her arms a little. "And don't worry, really. I'm just glad I wasn't too much of a bother. It was nice talking to you too Yae-san." she smiled as she pushed her chair back to it's original seat. It would be another long training session to finish this up. She hoped it would end soon for them all so they could hurry up and eat their bento. Which reminded her...
"Anosa, Yae-san!" she turned to the girl again, slightly nervous. She didn't know if the girl would take her offer, but then, she wouldn't get anywhere without asking first. "Eto... after we finish, do you want to eat our bento together during lunch?" she offered, clasping her hands behind her and waiting for her answer.

When Yae noticed the other girl's hesitation she smiled, trying to be reassuring, though that wasn't exactly her specialty. The class' lunch plans had been a mystery to her up until now. Now Yae was the hesitant one. Her last lunch outing had resulted in a bit of unneeded drama. But Sakurayuki seemed like she was much easier to get along with, so it wouldn't be a problem right? "Of course! I'd love to," Yae smiled again, this time trying to reassure herself.

No matter how bad it was going for her, she was refusing to ask for help. Asking for assistance wasn't something that came easily for her. If she couldn't do it on her own then this young Inuzuka easily thought of herself as a failure, especially if it was something as basic as this. For something that was in the base of all jutsu it was harder then she had believed it to be. However with her determination she would surely get to her goal in the end. Her trails and errors were proving quite productive. Each mistake she made she remembered and learned not to do it again. Sadly it seemed she was finding every possible mistake a person could do with handseals. Eh, at least she'll know them all and can be considered a true handseal master... right?
Hoeru knew 2 of them so far and three more of the other seals were starting to come to her as well. If she got those down soon she'd have 5 down and only 7 more left. That was almost have way! Happy that she was eventually getting to where she needed to be to pass her classes she kept on with her hand seal training and sure enough she managed to learn the next three hand seals. Even with all her mistakes and previous frustrations she was feeling more calm now and a bit more confident. Her determination stayed the same though. Let us just hope that it can last till the end of her training so she can hurry on to the next requirement.

"Great!" she grinned as Yae accepted. "I'll see you then!" she said waving, as they went their separate ways. Now that she had rested enough during their little talk, it was time to do some chakra molding again. Feeling a little heartened, she went to her seat and tried to remember all the information that was given to her. What did the girl say to her?
'It's something you learn through feel.'
'Right,' she murmured to herself as the voice rang through her head. Sakura remembered that when she had practiced before, relying on feel had ended with better results than really thinking about every single little point that was important. She'd have to test it out this time.

Getting ready to mold the chakra that had built up during her rest, she slowly focused on it intently, trying to get a feel for the process. Making the seal of the Ram, she cook control over the chakra again. Doing it wasn't so easy to do however and she kept on making mistakes. Whenever she tried to smooth out the kinks in her chakra flow, it seemed to become messed up even more and made the situation worse. This was a less than satisfactory attempt, but since she was trying it in a slightly different way, it was probably going to take a reasonable amount of time before she got used to this method. Opening her eyes and letting go of the chakra, she sat down and tried to hold back the migraine that was threatening to surface, while thinking of where she might have gone wrong. 'Halfway through doesn't seem like it did anything to improve my luck it seems...' she thought as she got ready to do it again. She'd make it work this time, for sure.

That +1 would be REALLY helpful right now... crying Concentrating yet again, Sakura focused on her chakra pool and gathered it up to mold. She almost had it in her grasp, but something felt so wrong here. It was as if the two pawers insider her were fighting to take control, and not mesh together. The unruly chakra was too much as she let it go, yet again. Now the teacher who had demonstrated a Doton just a while ago for everyone to see just simply amazed her. How in the world was this supposed to happen if she couldn't get this concept right? She was stuck half way for a long time. She hoped the next try would be better.

Amaya had been in her own little world while she was recovering from her training. The exercises were strenuous and she wasn’t accustomed to any kind of chakra work. However, her mind was brought back not by the girl with the bleeding nose, but by Sakura moving to the new girl in the back of the room. It had become evident that Yae wasn’t actually new, but she was the most recent to enter the room. It was incredible how many of the students were already a few days into their training. While it was enough to make Amaya slightly jealous, she had wanted to start as soon as possible after all, but it was also nice knowing that there were more experienced people around her age that she could observe and learn from.
Regardless of the small commotion Yae and Sakura were now making, Sakura had returned to her same seat next to Amaya, the child decided to give the exercise another go. However, before she could begin, she noticed Sakura make a slight gesture towards her; to which she responded with a shy smile and a nod of acknowledgement. Yes, she would continue to be shy around the newer students that she had yet to interact with. It wasn’t long before Yae slipped back out of the room and Sakura returned to her task, which meant it was probably time for Amaya to do the same.
Routine, routine, routine. Like she had been taught so many times, the child preformed the same motions and the same preparations before each attempt. While this was beneficial during training, this would not be realistic during a fight or when she had to quickly mold her chakra. However, that would come with time, she was sure of it. Closing her eyes, the girl took in her breath and formed a seal as she searched for her chakra lying underneath the surface. She had come so close to making her chakra completely visible and that was her main goal for the entire exercise. That would truly be ideal. If she didn’t it was entirely likely that she would make some extra attempts in order to pull it all together. This time, though, she would not be making her chakra visible. She tried to bend the flow of chakra, she mesh it with her physical energy; but there was no making it work this time around. Slowly releasing the air that she had built up in her lungs, Amaya opened her eyes and allowed herself to take in her surroundings. It was a beautiful day and she would love to be outside, but it had taken so much for her to get into this classroom. While she had failed that attempt, she wouldn’t fail at the assignment.

With Yae gone, the Inuzuka girl working on her handseals, Sakura focusing on her assignment, and the teacher still just staring at everyone, the classroom had grown almost uncomfortably silent. That is, if it wasn’t for the fact that Amaya preferred the silence. That was one of her many weird little quirks, but silence was also a rare treasure for her. With her father pounding away at various metals in the shop, her mother clanging pots together in the kitchen, and four brothers who hadn’t quite figured out how to turn their screaming in the speaking yet, her house wasn’t exactly an epitome of peace and serenity. This wasn’t to say that the child was against noise or talking or conversing. However, in this case the silence made it easier to focus and easier for her to keep her mind on her task instead of wandering about the classroom and skittering outside with the slightest bit of movement seen through the room’s window. No, the silence allowed her to retreat back into herself and focus on what she was trying to accomplish.
Reveling in the quiet, the small Keiji decided to make the most of the still nature of the moment. Retreating back into her core, the girl repeated her practice and closed her eyes as she formed her seal and took in a slow, steady breath. Chasing the flow of her chakra, the girl tugged and pulled at the energy; coaxing it to mix with the physical energy flowing through her body. She followed the ebb and the flow, trying to get them to sync with her physical manifestation. The child felt a definite combining of the energy and the chakra as she continued to focus. Without a doubt, she had managed to mold the two energies together. With yet another success, the girl was reaching the home stretch of the exercise. She had eight of the ten correctly completed moldings that she needed and it was like she had a head of steam pushing her on now. There was a spark and an energy as she released the chakra. She was so close and she wanted to finish this incredibly difficult exercise just because she could. Amaya was almost there, and she hoped she wouldn’t have to stop and rest again before completion.

Building up a little bit of momentum, the small girl didn’t take the time to analyze how her successful attempt had occurred or how she had pulled the one energy into the other. She didn’t look around the room to see what her classmates were doing and she didn’t really care at the moment. The girl was focused and, though she still had that cute little happy smile on her face, she was focused and intent on her task at hand. She only had two more successful attempts to complete and she was just so close to her goal. Plus, it would be something for her to be proud about if she was the first one of the new kids to finish. It wasn’t a competition, but it was also something that she would be able to go home and tell her brothers about. “You see, even though we weren’t raised by shinobi I was able to learn just as fast as everyone else.” That was something she wanted to be able to tell the four boys impatiently waiting for her to return home that evening. While there was nothing wrong with the life of a metal worker, the shop was something she enjoyed and it was something that she would continue to carry through the family after her father decided to retire, but she was also choosing her own path as well.
Quickly picking up a new sign, Amaya decided to keep with the routine. There was no reason to abandon something that was making the task easier. With the sign of the tiger being held by her fingers, the girl closed her eyes and slowed her mind. She brought in her slow, deep breath; struggling not to run over with excitement. It wasn’t like her to get so wiled, but she was also getting tired; which wasn’t helping. Amaya had noticed the draining energy, but it didn’t matter. She had pushed herself to the verge of passing out during every bout of attempts so far, she wasn’t about to change that now. After all, she was also increasing her stamina by doing so. Seeking her energy, the girl noticed that it was taking less and less time for her to move into the motion of her chakra. It was now beginning to feel natural and it was becoming familiar. She pulled and tugged at the energy, mixing the two together. There was no glow of physical manifestation, but there was also no doubt that she had successfully completed that attempt as well. Amaya’s exhale was quicker and sharper than usual. She had been keeping that breath for a longer time that usual because she had held the chakra for so long, but that was just another result of her excitement. With a quick “whoosh”, the Keiji felt her energy retreat from her body yet again. She probably only had the energy for one more attempt, but she also needed one more success in order to complete the assignment.

In the midst of her excitement, Amaya had gotten ahead of herself. She had thrown her routine out in an attempt to complete the assignment all that much faster, even though she wasn’t competing with anyone. With the overly exuberant attempt, the small girl suddenly felt that last little bit of energy rush from her body. She had hardly began her attempt when she had lost her chakra and the trial had been ruined. Stopping herself, Amaya knew that she didn’t have another attempt in her at that point. She was slightly lightheaded and she wasn’t going to be able to manipulate the chakra and remain conscious. Her shoulders slumped with the slight exhaustion as she brought herself back into check. Her head throbbed slightly as she placed her hands palm down on the table in front of her. She had pushed it a bit closer than she had meant to, but that was a part of learning. Taking in slow, deep breaths, Amaya began the steady recovery of energy so that she could complete the final bit of her assignment.

Getting used to relying on feel, Sakura concentrated a little more, bringing the circulation to a faster pace. She didn't want to push herself just yet, but the success of the attempt made her feel giddy. At last, it was working quite well. Yae-san's words were right. It did help to rely on feel, because after all, instincts were critical to a shinobi's training at all times. She would just have to learn to rely on them, and no time was better than the present, right? Focusing a little more, she molded the chakra a little more before releasing it from her grasp. Smiling, she hummed a little to herself, glad to have had some work accomplished.

"And there! Finished!" he compared his drawing of his class by holding it up infront of him and alittle to the side of the students sitting by the desks. It missed a few students, the Inzuka boy and the two kids. He would add them later. As he looked at the part were Yae and Sakura-chan were sitting, he noticed that he had forgotten to add some red color to Yae's face. And as he did so, he noticed the tissues of blood on the student's desk and went white completely white. "HOW COULD I NOT NOTICE THAT?!" and just as his was about to get up from his chair, he could hear a stomp from one of the other students who had been sleeping just until now. He put away his drawing and were about to ask her to calm down when she unexpecdently shouted.
"Hoeru-chan!" he shouted back "Calm yourself!" he slammed his fists to the desk, sending papers and pencils flying from the desk "I will tolerate the volume of the classroom to be at an conversation-level, but anything more is unacceptable!" Ko's face was flusterd. Usually he was a calm and friendly man, but he knew that his personality wouldn't fit as a teacher, aswell as his personality didn't when he were on missions. He also knew that one of the key things these kids must learn his discipline and a clear understanding of who the teacher is and how powerful and wise he could be. "Now sit down and go back to your training!"

"Hoeru-chan! Calm yourself! I will tolerate the volume of the classroom to be at an conversation-level, but anything more is unacceptable! Now sit down and go back to your training!" Jumping in her seat, she lost grasp of the chakra she had been molding. And it was so close too!! Exasperated, Yuki stared at the teacher who had made the sudden outburst, a sharp contrast from what he had shown during class up to now. 'Hoeru, huh' she noted amid the frustration that coursed through her that moment. That covered all the student's names in the classroom now, but thanks to her, she just lost another amount of the precious chakra that was needed for the assignment. "Hai sensei." she murmured as she bowed her head slightly to show she was listening to the teacher. However, her mind was fuming, screaming for mutiny as it threatened to surface up. Trying to calm herself and not let the conflict show, she focused her anger into this next try.
