Darius laughed. "He looks more surprised that Ham did when Kilandra was expecting." he grinned. "At least he hasn't started pacing in circles yet." Araima glared and turned back to Gale worried. "Gale?" Irana got a chair and pushed Gale into it. You just sit there and take this in. We'll give you two sometime to sort a few things out. That's enough time for me to bring you some lunch." she said, taking Darius's arm despite his protest. She kissed Araima's head and patted Gales shoulder. "Good luck."
When they were gone Araima stood and took his hand in hers. "Gale? Do you need some water? Is there something I can do?" she asked, nervous. He looked completely dazed. She shifted from foot to foot uneasy.

Gale sat down in the chair with a thud. He was still in a state of shock. He looked to Irana and nodded his head, then he shook it when Araima asked him if he needed some water.
"I'll be okay, it's just, It was, but we, baby?" He said a bit frantically. Gale took a deep breath before he continued to talk again. "I'm happy but, I'm also nervous. I wasn't thinking back then, I'm so sorry I did this to you, Araima. I don't blame you if you don't ever want to see me again."

Araima looked at him and sighed. She pulled up a chair and sat down in front of him. "Did this to me? I admit, at first I was scared and daunted by this. But I've have six months to come to terms with this." she said, hands once more on her abdomen. She could feel it in her, like a small fluttering. She loved it and would love it no matter what happened. "It gave me peace too. That... even when I was alone, I have a part of you with me." she said, slightly embarressed. "I couldn't hate you, Gale. Not for this wonderful gift. If anything I love you more. And I love our child." she said, looking down.

Gale began to smile, his face began to take on a more positive outlook too. He leaned over and gave her a quick kiss on her lips. Her words were comforting to his ears. "Thank you for saying that Raima, I feel so much better now. About all of this." He looked at her and how quickly she seemed motherly in a six month's absence.
"Our child, I'll have to get used to those words, won't I?" He asked, he wrapped her gently into a hug, his smile only getting wider. "Only three more months, that doesn't give me a lot of time to get all my bearings together. I must have missed a'lot. "

She leaned her head on his shoulder with relief. She missed him so much. It was a relief to be in his arms again. She just wanted to stay like this forever. However, something he said bugged her. "Three months? What are you talking about? Is something happening in that time?" she asked confused. Surely he wasn't talking about their child. Maybe somthing came up with his parents? She looked up into his face unsure.

"You don't know?" Asked Gale, now he was just as confused as her. How was what he said any confusing? He rubbed her shoulder some as he began to answer her question on that. "I guess Elves are further away from humans there too, human's a pregnant for 9 months. Sometimes less, but rarely ever more than that. Is that any different from Elven pregnancy?"

Raima's eyes widened. "Nine?" she asked. That was so short. She looked at her own small bump. She may be far enough along that she couldn't hide it now, but it would be a long time before she gave birth. "Um... Well. I think I might have another surprise for you. If my thinking is right my pregnancy will be twice as long. My people grow at a slower rate than yours. Same with this. I have at least another year before my due date." she said sheepishly.

"Twice as long you say? Let see, nine times two...carry the one..." Now his eyes went wide as he got the answer to that math question. "Eighteen months, Araima, Do you realize that's a year and a half worth of pregnancy!" He exclaimed, a part of him was happy, but good grief that was a long time. Well, at least things can be taken slowly. "It's a good thing you've happy about it. But eighteen months, you have your work cut out for you." He looked worried, not for things or himself, but for her. He loved her so much, being pregnant that long, it may be normal for them, but not for Gale.
"And it's normal for elves, right?"

Araima giggled as she watched his reaction. "Yes, it's normal for us. I might even give birth a little sooner. Mother did tell me a looked a little larger than I should at eight months. I still doubt that I'd have it much sooner than normal." she said. She paused, thoughtfully for a moment. "Humans really only have them in nine months? That's amazing. No wonder they can have so many." Araima felt a little bit off for a moment and leaned against Gale. She knew it would pass so she didn't say anything. "I missed you so much. What have you and your parents been?" she asked.

Gale nodded his head, the Elven may look like Humans, but the had their clear differences. Every time he came to Araima's world he learned something new when it came to those differences. He made sure to hold onto her when she leaned against him. "I missed you a lot too, so very much. My folks, they have been wonderful. My mom has gone on her dream vacation, and my dad, he's gone on her dream vacation." He teased his father. A cruise wasn't his idea, but he loved Angela too much to argue about it.

Araima chuckled. "I hope they have a nice time." It only took a moment for the slightly nauseous feeling to pass. She was mostly past that stage but she still got nauseous now and then. "I hope that means you can stay for awhile?" she said, posing it as a hopeful question.

Gale nodded his head. "I can for awhile. Now that I mention it, my mother wants me to go back to living on my own again now that she can be on her feet again for awhile." He answered, he looked at her, seeing if she was smiling from the news. It looked like she was sick instead. "Hey, Raima, are you alright there?"

Araima was so relieved that he could stay for awhile. She didn't know if she could bare the thought of him leaving later today. Not after he just got here. Plus she was still feeling queasy. She smiled up at him. "I'm fine. My stomachs not feeling too good for the moment." she admitted. "But I'm so happy you could stay. Even if it's only for a few days." She smile faded slightly and sighed. "I need to sit down for a moment." She pushed away from him and sat down gingerly. "Sorry... I still get a little nauseous every now and then. I'm glad it's finally stopping though."

Gale nodded his head. He understood she needed to site down, but he was concerned about her wellbeing. Her and their unborn child was a top priority now, or at least he assumed thats how things were meant to be now. "Is there anything I can do, anything I can give you, Raima?" He said in a worried tone. Gale began to wonder if he should call back her mother and brother to do something about this. If they knew about her not being so well right now.

She shook her head. "It'll pass. Don't worry. I can already feel it fading" she assured her love. She smiled. "All I need is your support." she told him, beaming.
About that time her mother and Darius returned, followed by two more men. A tall stark older elf and a young man who looked alot like him, except slightly more willing to smile. "Sorry about this." Irana apologized. "I accidently let it slip that you were here and the rest of the family wanted to see the young man my daughter chose." Araima sighed. She doubted the slip was an accident. Her mother was prone to stories. "I guess you get to meet my family today. It seems they invited themselves to a dinner." she said with a chuckled, taking his hand. This had to be nerve racking for him.
