Akumi cocked his head slightly. "Hey, I'm not the only one that could probably use some new clothes," he said with a teasing note towards Twila. Maybe I could go with red... I do like red, he thought. He noticed Jean blushing slightly as she chose a couple of sandwiches herself. "You know, Professor, if I didn't know this was a school, I'd have assumed you were a pimp," he said idly. He saw Professor Xavier blink as Kitty coughed while Rogue just stared at him. "I mean, all of these beautiful young women... " he finished with a shrug. Xavier smiled, realizing Akumi was teasing him. Ororo was chuckling with a slight blush while Jean simply rolled her eyes.

Twila lightly hit him with a wing which probably was as effective as hitting someone with a feather duster. "Sorry...stretching." she said. She wanted to avoid shoping and stores as long as possible.

Akumi shifted, his gaze flicking to the window as he noticed someone else landing with a pair of large white wings. He cocked his head slightly, not recognizing the person. "Try that again, and I'll tickle you," he said gently, half teasing.

Akumi exhaled slowly, shifting his weight. He couldn't shake the sense he had forgotten something. His hand rose slightly, an aura of swirling prismatic energy forming around his fingertips. He let his gaze shift slightly before he inhaled sharply, sensing something on the edge of his mind. What the hell? he thought. His gaze snapped unconsciously out the window, locking onto a tree slightly to the right. Something's there... but whatever it is is putting out an energy I can sense, he thought. He saw the Professor glance out the window as if picking up on his thoughts.

Twila wondered why they were looking out the window and looked too wondering if there was a bird or something. When she didn't see anything strange she gave up and played with napkin that was on the table.

Akumi jumped slightly when he heard a deep voice bellow one word: "Professor!!". Within a couple of minutes a large blue... beast-man came into the room. It was Hank McCoy. "I just picked up an energy spike of unknown origin close by that nearly fried the processor Forge and I were working on to upgrade Cerebro... oh, we have new students. Who, may I ask, are you two?" he said, surprise and concern in his voice. Akumi abruptly vanished in a burst of movement that sent a gust of air through the room, making Jean and Rogue gasp in surprise as Kitty yelped from the sudden burst of wind. A bursting cloud of dust materialized out of the window near the trees before settling to reveal Akumi, making Professor Xavier and the new mutant blink. "Startling... he may be faster than Pietro, though I recall Ororo mentioning shoes that could withstand a massive amount of heat friction for him," Xavier mused.

Twila turned to see the source of the new voice. ' another blue person... blue must be a popular color.' she thought. The gust of air surpized her and she closed her eyes for a second and opened them again when it was gone.

Hank noticed Twila looking at him, but glanced out of the window, seeing Akumi outside. "Intriguing... just how fast is he, Professor?" he asked Xavier, who shrugged. "He has been here only an hour or so, as has Twila; I thought it would be best to allow them time to settle down before seeing what kind of powers they possess," Professor Xavier said. Ororo gently touched Twila's shoulder. "We need to know what sort of powers you and your friend have so we know how to teach you, and make it easier to control your powers," she explained so it would be easier to understand. Akumi shifted, his eyes narrowing as his arm flashed out, an echoing boom following as the tree shuddered. A guy with reddish brown hair and blue eyes darted in seconds later, looking around as if thinking something was attacking. He wore a black leather jacket and brown jeans as well as white sneakers and a white tee shirt; this was Vincent Freeman, a.k.a Mayhem.

Twila looked at Ororo and frowned. "Control like stay grounded all the time?" She asked. Staying grounded all the time would be a nightmare for her.

Ororo smiled slightly. "No... control as in being able to use your powers without losing control of them or harming others... unless it became absolutely necessary," she clarified. "Warren has wings much like yours, so he knows well what it's like, and we do allow flight... since myself, Jean, and Vincent there all have some form of flight, though somewhat different from yours; I fly through wind manipulation, while Jean is able to do so through a form of telekinesis and Vincent... he reminds me much of your friend Akumi," she said thoughtfully. She noticed an odd pale golden aura, almost as if there were a light shining from in front of Akumi. It made her blink as she felt the hairs on the back of her neck and arms rise from the energy in the air. To her surprise, Akumi simply vanished in a flicker of light, the aura abruptly vanishing simultaneously before he reappeared, hovering just behind Professor Xavier, whose head shifted slightly upward as if the telepath sensed him.
Jean blinked, spotting the golden yellow gemstone in Akumi's hand, pulsing with a pale golden aura before the aura died away.

"What if you don't really have powers that hurt people?" Twila asked sence none of hers were. Twila looked over at Akumi then back at Ororo. "I think he's going to be more trouble then me." She giggled.

Vincent spoke this time. "Mutant powers often advance and grow as we age, so if one mutant doesn't have offensive abilities at the moment, we can help them control what they have and what they may gain. Look at Kitty; she is able to phase through most objects like wood, steel, and glass, with little trouble, She can also phase through denser objects with a little more effort, though recently we've found that if it's something electronic, she can short out the technology within it when in her phased state," he said quietly, his gaze flicking between the Professor, Akumi, and Twila; his dark green eyes twinkled slightly as a smile flickered over his face. The energy coming off of that gemstone makes me feel like I stuck my finger in an electric socket, he thought.

Twila looked at Vincent and nodded. ' why do they make this sound as if we're all in a big video game.... gain enough exp and gain offensives or random ability's. Yeah!' she thought. She shook her head and then menataly yelled at herself to be sereous and life is not a game. "So Kitty can go threw things like a ghost? Bet its fun to mess with people on halloween."
