Grunblawu handed Cian one of the rabbits to skin and started to work on his own rabbit. He laid out a knife for Cian and they would just do it on the table in the house. "Thank you. And I would like you to stay. Like I said last night you are welcome to stay as long as you would like Cian. My shack is yours as long as you wish it to be. But I can understand if you need to return to town."

Cian smiled and grabbed up the knife and skillfully began freeing the rabbit from it's skin. He interest in anatomy helped him greatly. "Then I shall stay..."

Grunblawu was a bit impressed with Cian's skill. "Oh we could get a good price for the skin you just removed. Not even a nick in it!" he smiled and gave a whistle at Cian's skill. "I am glad you will be staying." Thought the longer her stayed the more used to him being there Grun would get. "Do you want to do the third one?"

"Well, I'm glad I can help." Cian wordlessly grabbed up the last rabbit and began to work. "I'm glad to be staying too. I enjoy your company."

Grunblawu listens to the short answers and feels even more guilty. "I enjoy your company as well Cian. Though...would you like to have rabbit tonight or...another vegitable stew. We can go into to town tomorrow I guess unless you need things there tonight?" He was trying to both make conversation as well as give the other stallion a way or two out.

Cian paused hearing an odd tone in Grunblawu's voice. He looked up at the stallion and tilted his head curiously. "Are you okay, Grun? You seemed worried."

Grunblawu looked up, "Well things seem a bit tense I was trying not to upset you I guess." he let out a gentle sigh. "Sorry. Well we can just have rabbits tonight. And fingerling potatoes.

Cian blinked and sighed himself stabbing the table with with the knife. "No, I'm sorry it's my fault." He ran a hand over his face and walked over to the fireplace. He felt so damn stupid right now. "Potatoes and rabbits are fine..."

Grunblawu watched Cian then sighed and followed him towards the fire. He reached his hand over to place it on Cian's shoulder. "No it is not your fault Cian. If it is your it is just as much my fault." he said softly and shook his head, "We should not let things get weird between us right? I don't think either of us want that..." he flicked his tail trying to find the right words. "We should be thankful for the closeness we have found with each other right?"

Cian turned to look up at Grun after he finished speaking. This stallion knew how to read people... or at least him. His chest began to hurt slightly at the thought of upsetting him. He stepped closer to Grun and kissed him.

Unlike Cian Grunblawu had not people skills. He did not know how to read other Mearh and he grew even more confused. He lowered his head and kissed Cian back. He did not know what to do to keep Cian happy. And he was sure he did something wrong. When they parted lips his ears lowered a bit, "I did not say anything wrong did I Cian. I don't like seeing you hurt...I want to keep you happy or at least as peace as best I can."

Cian shook his head. "You didn't say anything wrong. I just blew things out of proportion. You are right. I don't want things to be weird between us either." He paused and ran his fingers through Grun's hair. "Was it because I barely spoke when working on the rabbits? If it was, I'm sorry I just get really focused..."

Grunblawu wondered what Cian and blown out of proportion. He smiled and leaned into the fingers lacing into his hair. "No it is jsut...since we woke up after the pool....we have seemed....a bit distant." he look into Cian's eyes, "W...what do you think you blew out of proportion? It might be my fault...I don't really know...what to do after what we did...It was the first time I have don't something like that..."

Grunblawu gives a nod.So they were both new to this sort of thing then. Why did that make he feel a bit better. He gave a bit of a laugh then and leaned his head forward and placed his forehead on Cian's. "Then I guess we should just try to be ourselves. We will figure things out. We just need to be honest and open." he smiled at Cian and kissed his forehead, "Shall we finish prepping our rabbits then?"
