Jeromy smiled at Inari as she walked over to him. "It's good to hear you slept well. Was the bed all right? I know that it's probably not as plush or luxurious as you're probably used to, but I hope it wasn't terrible." He said, just before he heard Inari's stomache growling. He chuckled a bit at her blush saying, "There's food in the pantry and cabinets. The can opener is in the draw to the right of the sink."

Jeromy's smile was so nice that it caught Insri of guard, for a minute. She shook her head and smiled back, "The bed was perfectly fine, don't worry," she laughed. She nodded her head and looked through the pantry. She found a small, travel size box of cereal and took that. She opened it and began eating the dry food.

Jeromy watched Inari with a smile on his face. A thought came to mind and he said, "You'll be okay here by yourself for like ten minutes right? I wanted to go outside and get something for you." He didn't really wait for a response as he went to the cabinet and grabbed out a nice sized mixing bowl and went outside, jumping over the creek behind his house and heading to where he remembered there being blueberry bushes. When he saw them he gathered as many as he could and then headed back to the cabin.
When he walked back inside he said, "I've got something for you to try. They're going to need washed off, but they're safe." He set the bowl of blueberries on the table and sat down.

Inari nodded her head, her thoughts elsewhere. What do I want? Do I want to stay with Jeromy? Yeah, I do... thoughts like this were running through her head. She finished the box of lucky charms and crossed he legs sitting at the table. When Jeromy came in Her head snapped up, her cheeks redenned and her eyes filled with joy. "Blueberries!" she grinned they were her favorite fruit in the whole world. "How did you know?" age asked and picked up the bowl, washing it and then happily munching in the tangy, blueberry balls.

Jeromy smiled as Inari seemed overjoyed about the blueberries. "Lucky guess?" He replied with a question. He was smiling a lot more than he ever had in his life and it was because of Inari. He then out of no where said, "Thank you Inari." He didn't know where that came from or why he had said it, but then he thought a bit and knew that it was because for the first time in a very long time he was truly happy.

Inari was happily eating the blueberries when Jeromy thanked her. She looked up, "For what, Jer?" she decided on a nickname. "You brought the blueberries!" her voice shone with laughter.

"I was thanking you because I can't really remember a time I was this happy." Jeromy replied. He never smiled this much, ever. He looked at the blueberries and grabbed some, popping them into his mouth. He didn't care if Inari didn't want to share and he'd laugh if she had a little fit or something. He knew what he would do if she would get upset over the blueberries. He didn't really want blueberry stains in his clothes, but he didn't care if they were all over her. He chuckled a bit at the thought, but stopped himself.

Inari smiled at him and was about I answer, when Jeromy took some blueberries. "Hey, Jer? You just ate some of my blueberries..." she told him, a sweet smile on her face. "And you know what happens when you eat my blueberries?" she asked, her eyes narrowing. She took a handful of blueberries and walked over to Jeromy. "This." she said, and smeared them on his hair and face, smiling triumphantly.((BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! XD))

Jeromy laughed as Inari sounded upset that he'd eaten some of the blueberries. He heard mention of her doing something when someone at her blueberries and really had no idea of what was coming. That was until he saw her coming at him with some blueberries, smearing them in his hair and on his face. He gave her a look that said, "You didn't just do that?" He then grabbed some of the blueberries and smeared them in her face laughing before saying, "That's what you get for messing with my hair." He laughed some more. He didn't have fun like this, so he enjoyed every bit of fun he was having right then and there.

Inari's mouth fell open in shock. "You did not just do that..." she threatened. Suddenly, a naughty thought of licking the blueberries of Jeromy's face entered Inari's mind and her blush contrasted with the blueberries. She cleared he throat, "You don't want me to touch your hair, eh?" she grabbed another handful of blueberries. Just as she was walking around the table towards him, she 'banged' her right arm on the table. "Ow! ow, Jeromy help!" Inari bit her lip. ((Edit: Goodnight!!))

Jeromy looked over at Inari and laughed at her reaction to him snearing blueberries in her face. He heard her ask him if he didn't want her to touch his hair and he said, "No, no I don't." He then heard her cry out and he immediately thought of her wrist. He walked over to her, concern plastered all over his face. He went to reach for her wrist, but waited saying, "Let me see your wrist. Did you hurt it?" He was right next to Inari, close enough that they could've felt each others breath.

Inari's heart beat faster at their proximity. "No...no, I'm ok..." she said. Her eyes traveled down to his lips and back up. "I'm really...ok.." she confirmed. Inari leaned forward, as if she were going to Kia Jeromy. "You're just kinda dumb..." she whispered, teasingly, before squishing more blueberries in his hair.

Jeromy sighed, relieved that Inari said her wrist was all right. Though, he wondered why she'd cried out like she'd done. Noticing that Inari was leaning in for what he thought was going to be a kiss, Jeromy grinned. He was about to wrap his arm around her waist, when he heard her insult him; saying he was dumb. He could tell she was only teasing but it was pushing his buttons. Words were forming on his lips when he saw Inari take more blueberries and smash them into his hair. Growling playfully, Jeromy took some of the blueberries that where left and he decided it was time for payback. He squished the juicy, dark blue fruit into Inari's hair. He laughed as he did so and said, "You mess my hair up I'm going to mess up your glossy, perfect, red hair." He laughed some more, waiting for a reaction.

Inari giggled and her mouth dropped in shock when he smeared blueberries in her hair. "You... Did not... Just do... That..." she said, blinking her eyes. "Oh Jeromy, you... Will... Pay!" she screeched, laughing and grabbed more blueberries, dropping a few down his shirt. "You seem warm, want some help?" she filled her hands with water from the tap an splashed him, laughing with joy sparkling in her eyes.

Jeromy smirked at the reaction that he got from Inari and he laughed. "Yes. I. Did." He replied before he heard her screech. He watched her grab more blueberries and then drop them down his shirt. He squirmed as he tried getting the blueberries out of his shirt. When Inari said he seemed warm he was confused and was still trying to remove the blueberries from his shirt. He heard the water running and then felt cold water splash him. He jumped and looked at Inari with a shocked expression. "You didn't just do that......" He said laughing. He looked Inari in the eyes, seeing the joy in them.
