[Dinah/sk to Optheli/Dynith]
Dinahsk reacted by crouching low and taking a few steps back, wings flared out and tail lashing as she returned the dragon's hiss - and the very same protective emotion. Bad! Bad Big! Mineminemine.
"Eaaasy," Dinah encouraged her bonded, patting her neck and making soothing noises.
"I didn't know anything about this, I swear!" And it wasn't even a lie. Despite all she'd done, despite what a loyal handler she was, she had somehow been left out of this loop. "I had no sharding clue, or I sure as shells wouldn't be out here with a buncha riders who're looking for handlers to kill."
"Bastards as good as stranded us here and left us to die." That anger was real enough - hadn't they realized how dangerous it would be to throw completely clueless handlers out in the midst of this?

-Trine- Tag Hekate/Devith /S'kor and Scarath S'kor moved to help support the weary silverrider. He deftly lifted the little silver up in his arms. "S'kor of Bronze Scarath. Will you put your wings down?!" He added after he had turned to the dragon who still had his wings up. "We need to get you back. Devith is tired." He nodded that she should mount.
"Don't worry, we'll come back for any left." He passed the young dragon up to his rider after Hekate had settled herself. Scarath, pass the word we'll be back for any who need a ride and contact you.
Scarath rumbled softly at the silver as he folded his wings. Well done little one. Rest and we will get you back safely. The dragon crouched low to help them mount. With his rider safely in the saddle, Scarath lept up with a tremendous push of his legs.
Anyone needing a ride back, with means to contact Scarath via dragon or flit, can assume the pair returned to pick you up.

-Trine- Tag Dinah/Optheli and Dynith Optheli watched the wher. She felt sorry for the pair. Surely they wouldn't be foolish enough to be involved with this sorry plot and still show up. She reached a hand down to Dinah.
"Hop on. It would take a colder heart than mine to leave you here. Just take care that your wher doesn't try to hurt her. I'm Optheli of Green Dynith. We are of Trine."

Hekate and Devith Tag Scarath-Exiting to Trine Environ. "Thank you." Hekate replied leaning into S'kor's grip for help as she got to her feet warily letting him take Devith as she turned to Scarath. The bronze was so big. . .would Devith be that big when he grew up? She hoped so. Reaching up she snagged the riding straps and swung herself up. "And thank you Scarath." Hekate added before reaching down to take Devith. For a moment Devith struggled, unsure who's strange arms he was in in his tired exhausted state until he felt Hekate there in his mind calming him. Mine~ Devith crooned reaching out for his rider as she pulled him snug into her lap making sure the two of them were strapped in tight as S'kor mounted. I'm here Devith. Hekate assured him the dusky silver's eyes fluttering shut as his chest heaved with exhaustion. Scarath says we have done well. Devith passed along the bronze's words his chest swelling once more with pride. I knew we would Mine. The silver added and indeed there as no doubt of their success in his mind. Nodding up to the bronze the weyrling let out a soft sigh as his rider held him close. Our safety is in you and your riders hands. Devith replied to Scarath his voice filling with the rare sound of gratitude as they launched into the air and in a blink of an eye were gone between.

[Dinah/sk to Optheli/Dynith]
"Thank you so much!" Dinah breathed out a sigh of relief that was real enough. She wanted out of here! She took the offered hand up, and Dinahsk whined after her until it became more apparent that she was going, too. It took a little coaxing to get her to accept that the 'big' wasn't actually 'bad,' but her trust in Dinah was absolute, so it didn't take long. "She won't, she's as nice a wher as you'd ever find. We even rode a dragon once before, back when everyone met at Southern."
"Dinah and Dinahsk, Benden." A moment passed, and she put on a grimace. "Maybe not anymore."
Eventually, both were settled - and as promised, Dinahsk did not hurt Dynith. Dinah bade her be careful with her claws, and she was. "My friend, Harmony, she went the other way, looking for a way out, too. D'you know anyone else who'd carry a wher? He's bigger, he's a bronze."

F'nell and Brown Krith
A couple of people flocked to F'nell, and after climbing on himself, helped them onto the small brown. He hadn't been given any instructions in particular, but he felt that it wasn't the best idea just to go straight to Malvren, even if that was what he wanted to do.
Hmm.
Why don't we land at the lake?
That was a good idea. He made sure that his passengers were secured, and then, with a grin, turned to look at them. "We're going to take off now, so hold on." Krith flapped his wings, taking off into the air, and then vanished, disappearing between.

[Adi/Mazamath to Z'fer/Calanoth]
It took Adi far too long to reach Mazamath through the crowd, and not only because of the crowd. When the full extent of what had happened became known, it had frozen her with shock, and then set her to sobbing. Finally, through the tears and confusion, she reached her partner, and the blue curled around her. Simultaneously reassuring and protective, he sheltered her with his body and wings, blocking out their surroundings so that he could better comfort her. Hush, Mine. I'm here. Dry your eyes, and let us go home. We will save it if we can, and save our friends if we cannot.
He raised his head, searching for a familiar bronze. Calanoth! You are our wingleader, so lead us home. Please.

-Trine- Tag Dinah/Optheli and Dynith "You're welcome." She patted the handler on the leg with sympathy. Optheli had Dynith kneel to let the wher climb up. "I'm sorry Dynith startled her. That's good to hear." She smiled, and made sure both were secure. Optheli tried not to sigh as the handler changed her mind about belonging to Benden.
She had seen the big bronze her brother rode already take off. If he got there and saw she wasn't, she'd be in big trouble. "Sadly I haven't heard about any other handler. I can ask Dynith to keep an hear out if you'd like. I hope your friend is ok Dinah. It's good you've riden before, we're taking off now!"
Dynith was as low as she could get. Still she watched the wher carefully. Tense at first she relaxed when the wher didn't hurt her. She gave a soft trill. With her rider's encouragement she took off carefully not to upset her passengers. At Optheli's order she went between.

[Dinah/sk to Optheli/Dynith, Harmony/Harmonsk]
Once aboard, and now assured that Dynith was not a true threat, Dinahsk chortled rather amiably. At her handler's urging, she sent a thought to Harmonsk, but being a wher, it was hardly sophisticated: just a mental image of her view from dragonback, and the words Found Big!
"I'd appreciate it if you would. I'm afraid it's not safe here for us handlers." And then away they went. Hopefully Harmony wouldn't take it poorly, but it wasn't as though two whers (not to mention three people as well) would fit on one green dragon.

Z'fer
Z'fer swore viciously as the ancientcrafter escaped right out from their grip. Calanoth was too far away to even hope to catch the blue before it betweened with their prey. Once again the villain had slipped away at the last moment. Z'fer whirled away, forcing his way back throught he mob as dragons flew over head and landed at random, trying to evacuate the helpless to safety. For once Calanoth's size worked against him, like the queen's he couldn't come to his Rider's aid and instead must wait at the fringes for Z'fer to make his way too them.
The bronze rider spoke to no one, having nothing to say that would be of any help. It took entirely too long for him to make it to Calanoth's side.
The seething dragon stilled as His neared, calming enough to respond to Mazamath's request. ~ Mine has reached me now. Be cautious and follow us closely. We will collect near the weyr before entering. Who knows if they've set up traps in the air above out home. We WILL save it though. Storm Riders! If you have passengers continue on, Do NOT enter the Weyr though! You will leave those unable to fight somewhere safer until we have regained control. The rest of you Get in the air and Follow Me! ~ Another roar and he launched himself from the ground, Z'fer belted tightly to his back. They waited only moments for the remainder of their wing to gather behind them before sending them co-ordinates for a location near the lake, away from the weyr proper though.

[Ralla and Firith]
The wherhandlers were taking over the Weyrs? But to what end, exactly? Ralla had yet to become attached to Malvren itself, and certainly hadn't gotten attached to anyone who lived at the Weyr, so she worried after no one in particular. She worried very little at all, in fact. She was concerned only with the details of this revolution, and what it would mean for her and Hers. She and Firith were all that mattered.
Take us back to Malvren. It's time to find out what's really going on.
Gladly, RallaMine. The little green leaped into the air and was between within moments.

((Catch up post...forgive me ><;; )) {Narisa and Cepheith - Tag to D'lin/Plexith, Kindra, Pipith~}
Narisa gave D'lin a smile, shaking her head slightly. "No, I should probably be saying sorry for my dragon putting the idea in his head." She sighed and glanced towards the stage warily again. "To be honest, I think I'd much rather be back there with them." The goldrider admitted to her fellow Trine Rider. It wasn't that she didn't trust any of the other Weyrs, though she did feel wary around them too. No, it was more that she wasn't sure she wanted to be front row if something...too interesting happened.
Cepheith still huffed, but she couldn't argue with that. I still don't like it. She grumbled, tail lashing behind her and wings twitching. And that was kind of you. Thanks. She offered a warmer croon and a small nudge in thanks as well.
"Thanks, by the way." Narisa said, looking back at the bronzerider with genuine appreciation.
She was slightly startled to by the curt but respectful enough greeting from the other goldrider. Well, at least she wasn't the only one stuck up here besides the Weyrleaders, right? "Goldrider....?" She hesitated, then just gave a tired smile. "I'm 'fraid we've not met. I'm Narisa of Gold Cepheith from Trine. Wish we'd been able to, ah...meet in better circumstances." She gestured towards the stage with a grim look falling across her features.
Of course, said gold was busy with chatting up - or grumbling at - the two bronzes she'd found. But she liked Plexith! And Pipith! And both Theirs were nice (or so she assumed). I tried to keep mine here. But that failed. And Yours is always welcome. Plexith's is there too. Cepheith snorted, clearly wanting this all to be over and done with.
And then it seemed like it was. Narisa couldn't keep track of how quickly things went downhill. She'd been staring at the 'Dragonlight' with a blank look, unable to really decide on an expression to show. Except it had slowly started to fall into mild irritation at the slandering of Rider's. Then there were flits. Everywhere. And confusion. Her head was swirling with too many thoughts and-
MINE! We must leave. NOW. Cepheith bellowed in outrage, eyes swirling red. She was on her feet, a roar ringing out. Pipith says they attack the Weyr. We must go. Pipith! You and Yours must go now. Defend our home! YWe follow right behind you.
Narisa was on her feet and forcing her way to her dragon before Cepheith even finished issuing her commands. The Weyr! What...why...? The young goldrider felt fury building in her...and knew it wasn't all her own. Her dragon was not happy.
<I'm coming, Cepheith!> She called to her dragon, reaching her rather quickly as most people did not wish to be in her way. Cepheith herself only settled enough to allow her rider to secure herself in place and then they were airborne.
Plexith's calls. We shall follow them. The Queen didn't wait for an answer and took them between.
[Narisa and Cepheith have returned to Trine to join D'lin/Plexith's Wing!]
