The boots where rather nice, they weren't as tall on her leg as she enjoyed, but they where black, little belts. It was perfect really. "Thank you!"
She sighed at the boot topic, "It's a matter of being practicle Junko, what if I have to fight to defend Siddie's honor? I'd need a solid pair of shoes not some silly high heels to do so." It was a joke, she wouldn't fight at prom. Right? Hopefully...
"Punch it is and later. You. Me. Dance. As friends. Or I'll nag you forever about it and wear my old boots to the next dance as your punishment." With that she took her friends hand strutting (more like scuttling slowly with all of Junko's fluff) so Sammy could pour them drinks while they eyed the guests mingling about.

If Vaith was a girl like Xiu, he'd probably be hiding behind himself too. But since this was Vaith .. Vaith was never Xiu's brotherly type, he left that to Xiu's aniki.
However, he wasn't the generous type either. Knocking Xiu's hand away from Lou, shielding Xiu swiftly behind himself. Wherevver Lou stepped to get to Xiu, Vaith stepped there too.
"Easy access to what.. exactly? Sorry, I didn't hear who exactly is going on your floor tonight." Vaith offered him a nuetral grin, onehand bent back to shield Xiu very very firmly.
"Just so you know, she's got a date and three other guys going to jump on you for that remark. Personally, as for me, I'm all nice and set here, trying to get her away from your shameless remarks." Did Xiu hear Vaith's genuine effort to better his vocabulary? He could have just said far worse there. He'd leave Xiu to the explanation to her ghoulfriends.

"You sure?" Clyde asked again. Hopefully he wasn't being a bit too strange...or creeping out Jove and the other two. Out of place maybe what he is, but he had taken note of that when everyone came in super fancy.
...
Maybe he should have spent more time on picking out an outfit.

It's very likely Nuru didn't buy it, his ears were perked and his tail swished side to side with a loud rustle of feathers. He seemed more amused than anything else as he hopefully waited that Jove may answer. But he was silent. Nuru cocked his head to the side, attempting to non verbally press the question ever so slightly...

"You just don't know what you're missing, I think. Juicy steaks usually change someone's opinion on the matter." Mmmm. Steak. Second only to a perfectly cooked salmon.
"And-" Riyo's eyes widened when Junko popped out of nowhere, shutting down any hopes of Riyo getting her crunk on right then and there.

And then the conversation came back around. Ahah, good luck? "Ah, well." With a smirk, the ghoul leaned into his side. Her ears... Almost looked like little devil horns on either side of her head. "I'm sure I can find things even your sister didn't think to do."
There were lots of implications to that. Probably more than Riyo even realized. Half of her wished she could have a webchat with this infamous sister and make a spreadsheet of what the ghoul didn't torture him with already.

Needle entered on Ulmuka's arm, doing her best to not spear him by accident with one of her numerous spikes. Her other hand smoothing down the ink-dyed dress he had the forethought to get for her, holding up some of the long skirt to keep it from tripping herself.
"Not at all. Thank you again, for preparing me." For everything, really. From asking her to the Prom to the planning, the dress and the camera, up to and including the warnings for any incoming flashbulb. Even for the corsage, thoughtfully made with her colour and his feathers. As they came to a stop she allowed the long dress to fall from her inky hand, instead moving to brush her fingers through the corsage, still thrilling at the feel of his soft feathers. "So...this is Prom?" The Engraver looked away from her charming date, looking at the decent crowd that had come so far, her poor eyesight working hard to try and distinguish one from the next through the mass of fabric and masks.

Her gaze skillfully bounced from West to those surrounding him, and a little further beyond, but her head did not hitch from being poised towards him. It was rude not to give full undivided attention to one you were conversing with! Smiling lightly all along, it brightened further, "Why thank you. Though you're quite used to it by now, I'm sure." she giggled very faintly. But her attention was caught with his unenthusiasm for the sport of dance! "Oh you do not like to dance, West? Why ever not?" the ghoul asked curiously, "Are you not a fan, or ill versed in its rituals?" it was understandable if the guy didn't know what he was doing. She was well aware not everyone was lucky enough to be taught as such. Glancing over to the booth filled with food, she inspected the layout curiously, a few moths casually fluttering over for a closer look of it, "It is quite lovely, what they've done with the place." she complimented, before looking back to the boil, "Surely sitting cannot be all that fun, my friend." she mused gently.

"Wow Xiu, your surprised face is the best one I've seen yet, I swear." The vampire mused, never at one point trying to keep Xiu where she was, or even give chase. He had made his introduction. Now it was time to have fun.
"Of course I'm enrolled. Papers came in yesterday. Officially in the undead dorms." He bragged, talking through Vaith for a moment until the boil asked for clarification on a couple of things.
Lou grinned wickedly and cleared his throat, spiral eyes honing in on Xiu's little friend. "Well, you're obviously not familiar with anything of a sexual nature. Virgin, I take it? I mean, if I have to explain to you that her dress will be on my new dorm room floor because she won't need it for what we'll be doing later, than you're some kind of sad, sorry prude my friend."
Lou was going to get the s**t kicked out of him. He seemed to make his peace with that easily. "Frankly, I don't give a s**t if you or any of these great big bags of fail want to 'jump on me'. I mean, I kinda like to reserve that for the women, but I'll pity you guys. You chivalrous types never have any luck with the ladies, after all. Poor, poor nice guys."
And then Mitsu was there! "Oh, well hello there pretty little thing. I seem to remember you from a day at the beach not too long ago. Still with strawberry shortcake over there, I see." Shameless. It was a good word to describe the vampire.

"Go ******** yourself. The bathrooms are over there. It's the only action you'll be getting tonight."When Mitsu came over to check on things, Shun had followed. However, his words were not as nice as what the wolf girl, Baku, or noise Reaper had to say. He had come in time to hear Lou talking about how Xiu was a virgin and everything else that followed.

Jay knew Senga didn’t want to go to prom. He was probably also just as annoyed about the costume both Jay and Zhi had stuffed him into for the night. But did the horsewoman care? Nope. Not at all. She was just glad the horseman hadn’t pounded her into the ground by now because she had been quite convinced Senga would have punched her silly already. But no, she was still bruise-free!
She giggled like an idiot when she finally walked in. This was partially (completely) because she and Zhi were carrying a certain Senga above their heads like a glorious prize. And considering how introverted he could be? It was pretty glorious indeed. “Senga, Zhi, we’re finally here~” she announced in a happy sing-song voice. She began to bounce in her sandals and once she figured now was probably an ideal time to put Senga down, turned around to look at her date. “Zhi! Let’s put him down on the count of three. One. Two. Three!” A certain wolf horseman flopped to the floor. Now that her load was gone, Jay adjusted her mask and brushed off any stray dust on her dress or wings.
Casually, the horsewoman stepped on the edge of Senga’s cape. “Senga, if you try to leave right now I’m going to pummel you,” she warned with a smile. She leaned toward Zhi and tugged one of his sleeves. “What do you wanna do now?”

It was supposed to be music. Right? Amarus was pretty sure it was supposed to be some kind of music playing, and those students were definitely dancing. And the mask was kind of itchy. She felt like a badass anonymous villain in the mask, though, so who was she to say no? And if everything went well, hopefully she could at least stay awake for an entire evening. Rather than end up napping by the punch bowl, or punching someone in the face (again). She kind of perked up, thinking about punching someone in the face, though. It was hard to re-educate Amarus, especially when there was combat afoot. Basically, she loved a good competition, and it was the one thing she was best at, so who could blame her for enjoying it? If she'd ever played enough skariokart to not suck at it, she probably would have become a competitive gamer too.
Amarus was feeling distinctly out of place. So, naturally, she approached the scenario like a battlefield: Observe the opponent, study the opponent. Mimic their natural behavioural patterns. Only she obviously wasn't thinking with such clarity. She had her silver eyes slightly narrowed, one finger tapping against her lip, as she walked amongst the dancers, stepping neatly to the side to avoid being swung into. Her feet didn't quite graze the floor: about half an inch of empty space marked her as a ghost who, while she walked normally, didn't actually touch ground. From the knees up, though, she kept herself perfectly tangible. It helped her forget her predicament, that being of her deadness, so to speak.
Yeah, it was about as bad as the time she tried to buy a skellyphone and Mac walked over. She really had no clue what to do in order to dance. At the tryouts for the play, she had merely used battle-movements, and that clearly hadn't gone over well. "Is the trick not to move the arms, or is there upper body movement involved?..." she mumbled aloud, and out of the corner of her eye thought she saw movement close enough to have heard. But the jackdamned mask was limiting her vision, anyway.

" Again....good luck with that." Titus murmured before his gaze traveled out among the crowd. What ho? Someone stirring up more trouble than him? How could this be? Far too curious for his own good Titus left Riyo standing by her punch bowl of shattered dreams to venture toward Xiu and this new addition. Already he didn't completely hate the guy, he wasn't a reaper like..some people. That made him slightly more tolerable off the bat, even better he was pissing Shun off. That bumped this guy up from s**t list to possible buddy in a heart beat. Nothing made Titus more giddy than seeing the grim brewing in anger. " You certainly have a way with the crowd." Titus mused. --- Mitsu gave Xiu a gentle pat before turning to Lou as he mentioned that she was with....strawberry shortcake? Did....did he mean Shun? Mitsu looked confused...and perhaps a tad put off. Maybe more confused than anything. At least Vaith was standing in the way but Mitsu made herself into a perhaps smaller but still formidable wall. None shall pass. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Mot arrived quietly, slowly. He'd been feeling better since the incident, but his heart was not quite into Prom now. He'd been looking forward to going with Hel, but since he had pretty much halted their relationship, he was alone. The reaper's eyes remained downcast, hidden behind a mask. It wasn't until he heard murmuring from one of the lovely ladies attending that he lifte his head. "Having trouble?" He asked, a polite smile gracing his lips.

"Seem to have more luck when Xiu than you do. Shun, Mitsu and everyone else who loves Xiu like we all do, I think it's an unanimous vote to keep her away from this guy." Vaith was going to get out of here before his manly pride killed him. After all, Vaith learned some fights were better off if he didn't win them, less he reveal private information that should probably stay private. Veering Xiu away from Lou, Vaith kept his hands steadily on her shoulder as he went behind the Mitsu wall and the Shun barrier. Shun barrier meant that lou was only headed to the bathrooms.. Probably.
Whispering, Vaith had to ask Xiu a very, very, very serious question. Apparently, Lou's words were a little more painful than Vaith cared to admit, even if it was wrong impressions or not.
"Back me up here or my witty comment was for nothing. Please tell me you'd pick me if it was down to me or him. Even though we have clearly established that neither of us are couple material, ever, to each other, you gotta pick a chivalrous type over the douchebag type, right?"
Vaith was probably worried that Xiu might of had a hidden "bad-boy preference." Even if she had proven otherwise every single time.

Amphi bounced literally, a bundle of nervous energy and excited feels for the event of Prom. She was wearing the dress that Danny and her picked out at the mall, crisp dark and light blues that matched her mask. Her hair was tucked up into a elegant updo, pearls stringed through it of various whites and purples.
All in all, she was excited to be there.
"Okay, Okay. We're here." She smiled up at the reaper who was her date, her face red with a blush at just how handsome Thanatos had dressed himself. A elegant style with blues that matched her dress and a similar mask. "I'm kinda of nervous with so many people here...." She held to his arm tighter, ducking a little behind him as she peered around.
All the people!! OAO
