Danny nodded to Alexander, although she knew this wasn't the end of their conversation. She knew something seemed off, so she just kept silent and figured she'd think about it later. As the girl dressed darkly entered Alexander's shop, Alexander introduced her to Danny and she simply said, "Hi." Danny was a little taken aback with her outfit and choice of make up, but didn't comment. As Alexander read off the list, Danny's brows furrowed at some of the things she heard. What was she trying to do? All of these things seemed a little peculiar to Danny, but she still didn't say anything. She did however, walk over to Alexander when the girl leaned over the counter, a little wary. When she left, Danny looked to Alexander as he spoke and said, "Well, don't expect me to get used to it right away," she said, laughing to herself.

  ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander laughed a bit. "Yeah, I would not expect you to." He said. "But they aren't as bad as the skeptics who come in. They're pretty-" but he was interrupted by the bell signifying someone entering the store. He turned to see a panting Evanna with Skah on her shoulder. His brows furrowed. "Evanna d-did you run here?" he asked, going to her. She grabbed his shoulders. "Yes I did, and we need to talk!" She said, before noticing Danny. She smiled then, as though everything were fine. "Oh, hi Danny! I need to steal him for a minute!" She said cheerfully, dragging him into the back of the store. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny stood next to Alexander before Evanna rushed into the shop. Danny smiled at her as Alexander rushed over to her, and she said, "Hi Evanna!" Danny nodded when she requested to speak to him, and she walk lightly over to the plush chair she sat in yesterday and sat down, feeling the lovely material. She looked around for Rasiel, but didn't see him, so she leaned back and sighed, pulling her legs up onto the chair with her, her head leaning back. "Oh, Rasiel, where are you buddy?" she called out, eyes closing.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander let her drag him until she slammed the door. "Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" He asked, as she pulled down the blinds. She turned to him then, her hands on her head. "How long have I helped to hide you? How long!?" She asked suddenly. Alexander's visage darkened. "Evanna, what are you talking about?" He asked. "Think about it Sòlas! For one second!" The witch snapped. Alexander glowered at her then. "That's not my name." He growled darkly. "This isn't the time to be worrying about that!" Evanna exclaimed as the sound of Rasiel's claws on the door could be heard, the fox becoming nervous by the harsh whispers from within. "How often have you meddled with whatever the fae want to do since you left them? Not once! And then suddenly you go and piss off some Naiads, and don't kill them!? Wonderful job, you have their attention!" She whispered, checking her voice and tone. Alexander looked mildly disturbed by this news. "Naiads don't usually communicate with the larger group. I thought we'd be alright..." He murmured, beginning to pace. Evanna crossed her arms. "You need to keep Danny away from you now. If they find out who she is, Titianna will be on you again." She said, but Alexander shook his head. "No. Titianna got to her last time because she was away from me." He said. He shook his head. "They know I'm still around, it'd be ridiculous for them to think otherwise." He said. "We'll just have to hope they believe me to be a human sympathizer now, and the worse they get is exile. Since I already exiled myself, they shouldn't really care as long as I don't meddle further. They'll probably send one of the scouting fae out to give me a slap on the wrist, but they won't know what Danny looked like in the past and won't associate her with that." He smiled wryly then. "I was one of Titanna's favorites, she wouldn't have let it be common knowledge that she lost me to a human girl. She's probably talked about me like a dog." He said. "I'll get that condescending talk and then, hopefully, it'll go back to the way it was. Still, I need a guard set up around Danny's home now. I still have a few connections I can count on to keep things secret, they should help." He looked at the witch imploringly. She glared back. "I'll help you clean up your mistake as well, but this was careless Alexander! You've gotten way too-"
"Soft?" Alexander cut her off with a small smile. "Do you tthink I should go back to my days of using human women for sport and sustenance? Kidnapping human children?" He asked. There was something dark in his voice. Evanna seemed to soften herself then and sighed. "Of course not. Just be careful dammit!" She snapped, before opening the door. "Oh stop it, you ridiculous thing!" She said to Rasiel, who simply rushed in to jump against her legs, recognizing her tone as mockingly chastising.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny sat in the chair for another second before lifting her head up and looking around. She was sure she'd seen Rasiel a moment ago, but he didn't seem to be around now. "Rasiel?" she asked, pushing herself out of the chair, looking around again. Since Evanna and Alexander were still in the back, Danny figured she'd have a look around, and find Rasiel while she was at it. She took a few steps down the back hallway, hearing a scratching noise. She eventually spotted Rasiel, scratching at a door. She walked up to him, getting a little closer, but stopped when she heard Alexander talking. She remained quiet, listening. "Soft?" she heard him say, his voice a little different, "Do you think I should go back to my days of using human women for sport and sustenance? Kidnapping human children?" Danny covered her mouth in shock, and quietly ran back to her chair, forgetting about Rasiel for the moment. She sat down, thinking about what she had just heard. She then listened to Evanna down the hallway, figuring they were done talking alone.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander scooped up Rasiel to scratch behind his ears and assure him that things were alright."We'll be fine Evanna. I'll work something out, I always do." He said, smiling reassuringly at her. She seemed a bit jumpy still, but more relaxed now. Still, she went to Alexander's teapot and began heating water. "I'm sorry to leave you like that Danny, we-are you alright?" He tilted his head as he looked at her. She was a tad bit paler than he'd left her, and his mind jumped immediately back to the conversation he and Evanna'd just had. "Did you have another hallucination?" he asked, hoping it would explain away whatever she'd heard. "I'm so sorry, I know they're disorienting at first when you can't pick out what's true and what's not, but I promise they'll lessen and within the week you shouldn't even be having them anymore." he said, letting the fox down so he could go to the girl.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny looked up at Alexander as he rushed over to her, talking about hallucinations again. What that is? It was another hallucination? Maybe it was now effecting her hearing, but that seemed foolish. She hadn't truly believed him when he spoke of the naiads before, saying those were hallucinations as well. And she wasn't sure if she should believe him here or not. It was definitely a possibility, that being around Alexander was making her have strange visions and seeing things because of magic... but still. "I'm not entirely sure," she started, her small arms resting on the arm rests, her eyes big and dark. "I might have been hearing things this time..." she said quietly, now wrapping her legs up to her body, looking up at him again.

He asked, looking at her with concern as Rasiel jumped into her lap, annoyed with being suddenly ignored. He was like a cat in that way. Alone, he was content, but when he wanted attention, he wanted it then. Evanna turned to look at her, stirring whatever she'd made in a mug that had earth clinging to it.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny looked to Alexander, now extremely calm because of him. There he went again, being amazingly calming without even trying. Now that he was so close, Danny couldn't help but admit it to herself. He was really attractive. Long smooth brown hair that feel in front of his eyes, which were so light in comparison to hers. She locked eyes with him for a moment before saying quietly, "I-I... I heard whispers..." she said, a little unsure if she should say it. She quickly decided to make something up. "But they were more like noises than words." She gazed at him for another moment. How could someone as beautiful and kind as him say what he had said?

He said before standing. "And Evanna, you do have to pay for that." Alexander said, looking at her. Evanna scoffed and took another sip, knowing she wouldn't really be made to pay. Alexander rolled his eyes before looking back to Danny "Would you like something to drink? I do have beverages more palatable than what I gave you for your leg." He said with a small laugh.

Danny looked down at the ground for a moment, thinking about what he had just said after he dismissed her comment and spoke to Evanna. What was she going to do? It was hard to forget about what he had said in the back room. Was he a criminal before she met him? Had he changed? Apparently he had, seeing as how he was treating her. But what if he hadn't? What if he was trying to get close to her just so he could use her for his own sick wants? It made her shiver and she looked up at Alexander when he asked if she wanted something to drink. "A cup of water would be lovely," she said, a hand touching her throat, it now dry because of her nerves.

Danielle showed a small smile. No matter what he may be, she couldn't help but be happy when he called her 'love'. It was just charming. "Yeah, I'm okay," she told him, sure that it was just her throat that needed water. She didn't feel sick, she was just... flustered. If that was a good word for just hearing that the guy who she might have a small crush on used to be a criminal.
