Personality: Nightmare Moon (birthname: Luna) is a misguided, vindictive mare. She's not evil per se... her sister tries to keep her in check, but she still feels, in her heart, that a good part of her life was stolen from her. Still disgruntled about her thousand-year imprisonment, she's constantly struggling between the scared little filly of her youth, and the strong, sexy, confident mare she became that, unfortunately, still carries the stain her reputation form her tumultuous past. Her sister, Princess Celestia, is patient and kind to her, hoping one day to get the little sister Luna back how she remembers her.
History: No one knows if its true, but the rumor has it little Princess Luna grew so jealous of her sister Princess Celestia that her heart grew dark and she tried to dethrone her and take her place as the true crown princess. Celestia overcame her attack, and imprisoned her for a thousand years. Reformed now, she is back at Celestia's side as Princess, but she still harbors a grudge.
