-Shiny relaxes a bit and is startled when she looks at Nai- Uh...Nai, is that normal?

What? *Nai casually looks around and then stiffens, looking at the hand holding her glass which falls and shatters on the grass* No. Not normal. *she gasps for air and crouches, looking around her* A warlock or witch or freaking leprechaun is in the hedges somewhere *she drops a washer, flashes down the hedgerow and ends up in a clearing where greco benches encircle a small but intricate garden with a sphinx statue on a bronze pedestal.

-Shiny follows Nai and looks around her when they get to the small clearing- Where the hell? -Shiny walks up to Nai with a concerned look on her face- What can I do to help?

*Naioka stops in the clearing and spins around muttering to herself all the while.* I need some red bull. *She doesn't laugh. It's not a joke* Out here, in "the zone" weird s**t can randomly happen to you. I drank my drink that I had brought from outside and now I believe I need redbull to reverse the effects.

-Shiny looks at Nai confused for a moment but then sighs- what do you suggest we do to get you a redbull, if that's what you need to reverse it? I'm not seeing a mini-fridge out here stocked full of redbull.

You would be surprised.. *Naioka begins peering under hedges and when she reaches one of the stone benches and crouches to look under it there is a loud crack and piercing shrill laughter* What the-- ? *Nai falls back on her heels and stares at a small green creature with the same skin she is covered in* Come here you little rascal *She attempts to grab him but his slippery skin slides off as she does so and he runs around the clearing, shrieking in glee* I bet he's got some! Get him Shine!

-Shiny watches the creature for a moment then with a powerful pounce lands on top on him and wraps her wings tightly around herself so he can't escape even she can't get a grip on the slimy little b*****d-

Shweet. *Naioka grins and slurps over to where Shiny has the creature trapped because her slime coating prevents her from walking.* Where is your Mini-Fridge?! *She calls to the green b*****d inside. Suddenly, Naioka realizes that the bronze pedestal underneath the Sphinx statue is actually an alien-sized fridge* Relinquish your RedBull! *Just as she says this the door swings open* Little ********! Don't let him go until my skin is back to normal *Naioka grabs a RedBull and chugs all 8.4oz in a single go* Damn! The little fella's got a full bar in here *She takes out the Imperia Vodka a refills her flask before replacing it and shutting the door*

-Shiny stays in her cocoon like state until Nai says it's okay to release the slimy little b*****d- Anything?

You tell me. You're the one who noticed it in the first place. I would have just walked past this godforsaken clearing *glares at the Sphinx whose smile seems to mock her* Any better?

-Shiny looks at Nai and then gets up to inspect her a little better then hugs her tightly- I can do this now that you're not slimy, before you would've just slimed out of my grip -Shiny smiles and purrs before looking around the clearing- Where to now?

*Nai hugs Shiny back but keeps her ears open and twisting around to detect any shenanigans* That was quite nasty. Thanks for getting the booger. Couldn't have gotten a scroll out through that slime anyway! *Nai lets go of Shiny, kisses her cheek, drops and nut and turns back around, going out of the clearing the way they came in instead of pushing onward* We're not going that way that's for sure *Nai points to the opposite end of the clearing*

*Naioka takes a right at the next fork in the road and pauses to look at the sky* I wonder where the center is .... *she trails off and keeps walking, looking over her shoulder and dropping a washer periodically* What do you want more than anything Shiny?

-Shiny watches Nai and sighs wondering if she should really tell her what she wants more than anything- That's logical, and if it is for some purpose what purpose would you want it to be?

Hmmm... *Naioka slows her pace, falling slightly behind Shiny and scratches her chin* I'll have to think about that .... *she trails off and her attention is gained by a dark cloud in the distance. It was getting dark now and the sun bled into the sky above them like a pierced tomato.* ..... Maybe Beau-- *she is cut off from a blow to her chest from an invisible source and, gasping for air, scans the area in the path around her. There is nothing unique about the path, green expanse of hedgerow on either side. Then again, from behind a blow to the back of her knees which causes her to fall forward on her hands*
