Yoshi ran towards the Diglett once it popped up. He was coming from the right, left claw glowing silver as he aimed to slash through it with Metal Claw!
Ryuu came from the left, aiming to Bite down on the Diglett!

Again the pair of Pokemon would miss, and again the Diglett would disappear into the ground. Surprisingly however this time she would return rather promptly. Bursting from the earth the Diglett would become a spinning whirl, kicking up sand and spraying it in the direction of Yoshi in a simple Sand-Attack!

Yoshi began running around a little. He didn't know which hole the Diglett would pop out of. Regardless he wasn't sure of which attack the pokemon would use either and so the best idea was to keep moving!
Ryuu was struggling to keep up with the Totodile. The Diglett had popped out and began spraying sand towards the Totodile. He lunged trying to pull the pokemon away from it!

Though valiant, perhaps that hadn't been the wisest decision on the part of the young titan. Sand spraying across his face and getting stuck in his eyes, that was the second Sand-attack he'd taken during the course of this battle. He was having a hard enough time hitting the little Diglett as it was!
Her attack complete, Pickle would slip back into the earth. Much like before she'd present a basic Whack-a-Mole defense, popping randomly in and out of the earth in an attempt to evade out at her adversaries.

Yoshi took one side like before. He was going to try and slash through the Diglett with his Metal Claw! Oh how he wished he had a water move already... Well no point in dwelling on it!
Ryuu tried brushing the sand out of his eyes. It was painful, his eyes were watering and it was still cloudy. His vision was slightly impaired but he was going to continue to try his best. He would lunge forward, trying to catch the Diglett with a Bite!

Riku returned both Ryuu and Yoshi to their pokeballs. They deserved a well earned rest. Both had done really well in the battle and neither had gotten hurt even once. Smiling happily, she looked at the pile of coins and then picked them up. Well that would come in handy. Grinning, she then patted Loki on the head cuddling with him for a second before the pair took off. Now to find some more rats...

Riku continued down the tunnel but all was quiet. That was kind of strange. Well the passage might've been sent along and so they were hiding? Or had they actually left? It didn't seem likely and so she continued. There had to be more, she just had to search harder to find them...

Travelling further down the tunnel, Riku would be met with another selection of crates. Unlike the first these ones were strewn across the tunnel, several half crushed and the tarp buried beneath the debris. No attempt had been made to hide this one; obviously they'd been in a hurry to depart from this location. Word of Riku's approach had already spread it seemed!

Riku paused in her search. Well there were definitely more people down here. The boxes and crates made that obvious. The girl began to rummage through them, searching to see if there were any items with it. Loki leapt off her shoulder to help her search.

Riku didn't find anything and neither did Loki. The Emolga made it's way back to her shoulder and then the girl shrugged. Ah, well. They had at least attempted to look and that's what mattered. The girl continued forward, trying to find more 'Rats'. Where could they possibly be hiding? She hoped to find them sooner then later this time.

Travelling further down the tunnel Riku would be met with a rather unsettling sight. Right in the middle of the tunnel a man stood before her....a belt of dynamite strapped to his chest. "Rat-catchers gettin too close to the nest. This'll be a blast!" The man called in a half crazed tone. With a lanky body, long hair, unshaven face, and the appearance that he hadn't showered in weeks...there was little chance this man wasn't insane.
This fact would be proven all the more when the man reached to his belt, pulling out one of five pokeballs and tossing it forward.

Riku looked at the pokemon and the crazy man wearily. What was she supposed to do? The dynamite was what set her off and she turned to her pokeballs before releasing Yoshi. Alright, time to try and finish them off before she could move forward. She just couldn't fail this mission!"You can do it!"
Yoshi appeared in the flash of red light. He glanced at the Geodude and then silently assessed the situation. The tense look on his trainers face and the stick of Dynamite strapped to the male's chest. Okay.... always craziness around. With a Quack, he ran forward aiming to slash the rock pokemon with Metal Claw!
