The State of Tennessee ☀Andrew S. Hickory☀ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Tennessee made another embarrassed face when Christian kissed him again but didn't complain this time. Given the circumstances, he could let it slide. Sometimes little bits of affection weren't so bad. Tennessee thought he was out on the waves surfing five seconds ago! Had he been listening in on their private conversation the entire time!? The conservative boy almost felt a little light headed realizing that someone had been keeping tabs on the very personal exchange that just took place. Worst of all it was by someone who was known for spreading rumors and scandals like wildfire! Tennessee's face was pale for a few moments before it heated up to bright red. Especially when he saw the camera and failed to realize that California was alluding to the kiss he had captured earlier rather than anything compromising about him being affectionate (sort of) and vulnerable with his brother. Tennessee's hand started inching towards where he usually kept his tomahawks hidden with a grim and determined expression. ⊰ A n i c a ♦ P o p e s c u ⊱The Joker of the European Deck 2nd Beach Outfit Swimsuit Anica chuckled at the state's nervousness, but could agree with why. Black Magic was a tricky business, if you didn't make sure you had everything correct and under control, thing would quickly spiral out of control. And with Murphy's Law, that was pretty much a guarantee. "Well I can't force you, but I still leace the invitation open for you to accept~" She cooed to her soothingly before he removed his hand from the side of his mouth and standing up once more. It seemed that a few of the other states were busy ripping into each other for some drama that he had previously missed. He chuckled under his breath as he lowered himself into a seated position in the shade of his large umbrella as he began to unpack some of the things he had brought. One of which was a copy of Liviu Rebreanu's Răscoala ("The Uprising"), which brought a smile to his face because he hadn't remembered stuffing it into his bag while packing.
Stopping for a moment, the Romanian leaned back against the pole of his umbrella, which still supported his weight for some reason, and cracked open his copy of his novel. Glancing around for Charlotte, he noticed she was near the rest of the states and decided to leave her alone for the time being, no need to make her situation any worse for the moment. Kicking off his shoes before wiggling his toes and burying them in the sand, Anica then began reading the first few pages of the novel, going back in time to his revolution days, which brought a proud smirk to his face.

【 Mahalo nui ia Ke Ali`i wahine 】 〖 `O Lili`ulani `O ka Wo hi ku 〗 Leilani Kamea Malu Freshmen ﹙ There’s no place I’d rather be ﹚ x﹙ Then on my surfboard out at sea ﹚ xx﹙ Lingering in the ocean blue ﹚ xxx﹙And If I had one wish come true ﹚ Leilani continued to wade in the ocean as Landon approached her, spoke to her, and then left her in a hurry to go and reunite with some of the other states. Sighing softly to herself she kicked her legs casually until her feet found the sand bar and she began to climb out of the ocean with her surfboard over her head as always. Walking besides the cluster of southern states, that happened to include California at that moment, she far-western state just shook her head slightly before rolling her eyes at the supposed drama that was going down. Christian's 'trust dump' was still fresh in her mind from the festival the other day, so she knew all about Landon's efforts to try to expose their relationship for profit and was down-right livid with him about that. Somehow Andrew was caught up in all of this mess and as much as she wanted to walk over there and help, she decided that her first duty to herself would be to make as much separation between her old namesake and her new identity as possible.
So with that in mind, she shoved the base of her 12-foot-long board deep into the sand to it would tip over if anyone touched it before she twisted her long curls in her hands and wrung out the water that was still trapped from her surfing expedition. Even though she was probably going to hop back into the waves at least a few more times before departing, she thought that maybe doing a little snorkeling would be fun. Walking over to her bag of things, she took out a basket of fresh fruit, grabbing an apple before holding it in her mouth by the teeth. After a moment of searching, she found her diving mask and some body weights that she had strapped to her hips, making it easier for her to dive down into deeper parts of the reef in order to fish for some good fish.
Grabbing her harpoon, Leilani prodded at the tip with her ingex finger, making sure that she had sharpened the sharks' teeth to near-perfection since this was going to be her first dive outside of her native waters and she wanted to be prepared for anything. The thought of sharks being out in this water did cross the Hawaiian's mind a couple of times with with a slight glance back to Rutilio to reassurance she then just sighed and began to wade back into the ocean. With her mask in place over her eyes, Leilani activated a few of the weights, immediately beginning to pull her under the water's surface and into the deeper depths. It was a lot murkier out here than she would have liked but by turning on a flashlight embedded into the mask she was wearing, she was able to see a lot more clearly. George "Christian" JonesGeorgia, U.S.A.Freshman I said where I come from It's cornbread and chicken Where I come from a lotta front porch sittin' Where I come from tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Christian lightly took Tennessee's hand as he saw the boy reaching for their favored weapons. He shot a quick look to the mountaineer that he'd given plenty of times. The one that read, "I'd let you if I knew it wouldn't get one or both of us in trouble." He then turned hai attention back to Landon, slowly releasing his grip of Andrew's hand as he did.
As Landon apologized, the militant state lifted an eyebrow as he tried to identify any falsehood to the boy's apology. However, it seemed the Californian was finally learning an over due lesson in humility and dimming down pride when it was needed. Hey! Just because Christian hadn't perfected the skill yet, at least he made a concious effort most times-- and the normally rebellious southerner recognized when others had the curticy to try it too.
Georgia reached one hand up and took hold of Landon's...... Before he gave a hard yank of the younger boy's arm to send him tumbling toward him. He released Andrew so that he could grab hold of Landon and put him in a headlock as he ruffled the Golden State's hair. He laughed light-heartedly, giving the standard Jones' family laugh as he did. "Yeah, sure. Whatever! Just don't act like such and a** next time someone tells you no-- especially me! Everyone knows I'm one of the more rebellious states in the south!" And at least he was big enough to admit he would purposely so something to piss someone off if he was in one of his moods.
He released Landon from the headlock before he ruffled both Landon and Andrew's hair. "Hey, well, hope y'all don't mind, but I gotta take off for a moment! There's one other person I need to apologize for my behavior lately!" Georgia picked up the large and gentle sea turtle that had been sitting calmly on his lap this whole time. Once he was on his feet, he cradled the turtle once more before he carefully ran the turtle back to the ocean. After asking the turtle if it could help him find Hawaii, the turtle agreed before it dived into the ocean. Georgia sucked in a deep breath before he followed.
After a little while, Georgia found Hawaii and swam over to her. He waved to her before signaling if she would mind surfacing for a moment to talk with him. Unlike her, though, he had no gear for diving, so he had to quickly surface after getting her attention. He gasped as he surfaced and coughed slightly. He really hoped she was willing to talk to him.

At one point, she paused, giving her lungs some time to recover as she glanced around. The reefs around here weren't as colorful and the fish not nearly as diverse, but it was still pretty to look at. As a shadow passed by her overhead, she tilted her chin upwards as she saw a sea turtle casually swim above her. Grinning she kicked her legs slowly as she waded upwards a few meters, deflating the weights around her hips so she could move a bit faster, although always careful not to get the spins or whatever that thing was that scuba divers got when they surfaced too quickly.
But as a finger then tapped her shoulder, more bubbles emerged as a quick yelp was heard, even with the water around them muffling it. But clamping her jaw tight, she spun herself around, her wild, ebony curls floating effortlessly as the current of the ocean whipped them around her tanned skin. She held her harpoon firmly in her grasp, going for the kill shot before her crystal-blue eyes found themselves on the dopey face of her eastern neighbor. She haulted her attack for a moment, shaking almost as the adrenaline rush that had came out of nowhere, had nowhere to go, before lowering her hand to the side, internally sighing in her head as she closed her eyes for a moment.
The Hawaiian could hear her heartbeat echoing in her ears but nodded slowly in understanding that Christian, indeed, wanted to have a word with her. Snorting some air bubbles from her nose as she slowly began to surface, deflating the weights that had kept her at the current level as she continued. Once she surfaced, she took in a deep breath of air, although not gasping nearly as much as the Georgian was before she removed her goggles from her eyes and slicked her hair back, so it wasn't out of her eyes anymore. She had her goggles hanging around her neck, along with her beloved Honolulu as she continued to wade next to her military protector.
"Christian," She began as she moved some more of the ebony locks from her eyes, slicking it back with the rest of her hair, although it was hard to keep the messy curls in place since they were so wild. "What is it? You're lucky I didn't gut you like a hāhāua..." Her voice trailed off as she lifted her harpoon over her head and rested it across her shoulders, making sure to keep the pointed end away from her supposed brother, just in case he journeyed too close so he wouldn't get hurt. . If anything, it was something he had grown used to over the years of battle he had done. Some of the allies his country had made were a bit... skittish at times and tended to not realize someone as tall as Christian was in fact very capable of sneaking up from behind.
As they got to the surface, Leilani asked if he realized how lucky he was and grinned. "Well, of course~. If I weren't lucky, someone woulda blown my head off or stabbed me in a place that matters years ago~!" Christian then went from playful to looking into the water bashfully. "Umm, well, I ain't always the best with apologies-- especially to gir- ..... Women. I forget your not some little girl who needs me to look out for you sometimes. I guess I'm like most of the older states where I look at the newer states, assume they're younger, and then get sad when I realize they are grown and don't need us, even if the other state was older than us in the first place."
Georgia lifted his eyes, but kept his head tilted down as he smoothly moved his arms to keep himself afloat. Living on the coast sure did help to have a private conversation out in the ocean a little ways away from where others could listen in and butt in... much like what happened to the sweet and brotherly moment that had gone on between him and Tennessee just a moment ago. "Any ways, I was an a** yesterday. as someone who should know better than any of the other states about tolerance for something not normally accepted in society, I should have been more tolerant to your right to wear what you want.... Or, uh, don't want to wear." He closed his eyes and sank in the water some. From the bubbles that came up, it was clear he was grumbling to himself for how stupid that sounded. He once more surfaced again so he could talk and looked sadly to Leilani.
"A- Any ways, uh, again.... I am sorry I was the quickest to judge you. And... I- I can sympathize with the whole... family issue you mentioned yesterday. About how you originally didn't want to be one of us.... I might not have originally not have wanted to be in the family, but I did go through that phase and was forced back into the family in the end. So... If you want to talk, I'm always there for ya... I- I mean, I know I'm not very important to you or as important to you as the others might be like Landon or Andrew, b- but I think you're important so that's why I care so much about what you think and stuff and... Imma shut up now." He once more sank into the water slightly, but only enough so that his cyan eyes were still above water level and he was looking up to her.

But as he began his apology by first addressing her as a woman instead of as a girl, she knew that she was going to be in for another serious conversation. Which she didn't mind of course, but she was a bit curious to why he was suddenly apologizing to her for seemingly no reason.
She continued to slowly kick her legs in an egg-beater motion, her harpoon draped over her shoulders as her wrists rested against the shaft of it effortlessly. She had been in the water for so long that she had a great deal of endurance when it came to wading and swimming; although most people wouldn't think it with her petite stature. Her breathing was calm and consistent as she watched Christian as he spoke, going over every detail of that moment in her mind. The way his eyes shifted and softened as he spoke. The sincerity and genuine air about him as he spoke to her in that calming voice she remembered him speaking to her in all those years ago. Even him blowing bubbles into the sea water out of slight frustration brought a small smirk to the islander's lips as she nodded to him.
"First, I'd like to say mahalo nui loa Christian for coming to me personally and apologizing for your actions the other day. It was a very uncomfortable situation for me since all I was trying to do was express my culture, however bare-skinned and ancient it is, but I can see that you were brought up by the same kind of people that came to my islands to educate me and provide me a new religion. Your morals are very different from my own and I now understand that." She glanced towards the short for a moment, watching the Tennesseean before she returned her attention to to blond before her. "I should have prepared myself for the backlash that was going to come from my bold decisions of walking around with no clothes on, I mean, it's not ancient times anymore. It's the 21st Century and people and society has changed in such a way that mundane items such as clothes, cell phones, even microwave dinners help maintain this world we have created, or should I say Western innovation has created."
The Hawaiian gave a soft giggle at this as she arched her back backwards, now floating with her wild, ebony curls spanding outward in a fluid pattern as she laid beside her eastern brother with such ease and little effort. As Christian continued to speak about how there was a time that he had left the Union only to be dragged back in, Leilani tilted her head to the side, mindful to keep her lips and nose above water, watching him with those sea-blue eyes of hers. "You are important," She had begun but them paused at the mention of him not being on the same level as Andrew or Landon. A soft pink hue then graced her tanned feature as she glanced away from him and down to the ocean's surface for a moment. But after thinking about her current predicament, she let out a sigh before she righted herself into a sitting position once more, continuing to kick her legs in an egg-beater fashion.
"Christian," She began as she removed one hand from its relaxed position against her harpoon before she reached forward, moving some damp locks out of his eyes so she could connect with them better. "You are more important to me than you know. You have been there since the beginning, always checking up on me and my people to make sure that we were safe. I've never seen someone more dedicated to their 'ohana, to even care for basically a complete stranger when she was injured." She smiled as she traced her fingertips down from his forehead, to his cheek, before finally cupping his chin in her palm, lifting it so it could meet her gaze fully once more. "You have been the best brother I could have asked for. And although I might not be your true kaikuahine, I will always treat you with as much aloha as I do for Landon and Andrew."
With this, the 'Paradise of the Pacific' leaned forward and planted a simple kiss on the other's lips. It didn't last long, in fact she had only closed her eyes for a few seconds before it ended and she pulled her face away. "If you would ever like to talk about anything to me, you can as well. I don't want you to think that I...care for Andrew or Landon more than you." She paused for a moment, trying to think of the best word to describe her relationship more with Andrew than Landon at that moment. Although she had just began their official friendship not too long ago, there had been so many occurrances between them that had made her feel like her place was beside him always, although that stupid tart Secyhelles always hung around his neck so there was no way it could happen. But hopefully Christian didn't notice her hesitation. "Ko aloha makamae e ipo." She stated as she stroked his cheek with her thumb for a moment, continuing her gentle yet loving smile before she finally retracted her hand and rested it back on her harpoon. His hair really could be difficult to manage sometimes-- especially his bangs. Well, at least the ponytail in the back was still holding up, otherwise she might brush Stone Mountain and cause him to start giggling. That certainly would kill any sincerity his words had held.
As she told him he was important, he blushed lightly and looked down shyly. Usually people chastised him for not only acting like a big brother, but being overly baring in how he did it. The fact that she honestly didn't mind too much that he had been trying to protect her all of these years made him feel appreciated instead of like, well... Big Brother*.
He felt her warm and gentle hand go from his forehead along his cheek before it cupped his chin. He felt her lift him out of the water some before she planted a kiss on his lips. As brief and simple as it was, it caused Georgia's face to turn bright red and his eyes to go wide in surprise. Sure, he liked to consider her as a sister, which a kiss like that was no big deal and a common form of expressing love among family, but it was still a huge surprise since no one outside the sister that directly neighbored him (South Carolina) had ever really given him a kiss on the lips-- and even that stopped once he reached a certain age. Once the kiss ended, Georgia looked down as he poked his two index fingers together shyly, his cheeks still bright red. "Uh, umm, w- well, I- I'm glad we got that resolved. I really don't like thinking people I like being mad at me..."

☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀When Rutilio saw the Georgian pull his little brother in for a hug, he relaxed quite a bit and was glad to see they seemed to have made up. There was one less thing to worry about although Florida had a feeling he would need to talk to Landon about all of this. He never realized how possessive and insecure the golden boy could be. As disturbing as it was in some ways, in others Florida felt oddly pleased to see that no matter how big and powerful California was, he still relied on him emotionally to some degree. That was a little reassuring in the weirdest way possible for the elder state. While watching his little Alta fondly the Floridian had missed most of what had gone on between Leilani and Christian until he just happened to glance in their direction. He just so happened to glance over at the moment when the tropical island kissed his boyfriend. Rutilio blinked and watched only to see no objection or rejection of the lip-lock. Instead the blonde had the nerve to act all adorable and bashful! Que demonios!Florida's lower eyelid twitched recalling how he got jumped at the cultural festival for giving out kisses, but apparently it was perfectly fine for Christian lip lock with whoever he wanted! It wasn't fair at all! Reaching deep into the sand, Rutilio located the best hand-sized shell he could before chucking it at his boyfriend's head bobbing in the waves. "Peaches! Why do you get kisses and I don't, you evil hairy fruit muncher!?" Rutilio ranted from the shore. He didn't know if the younger state could hear him, but he made sure to shake his fist so there could be no confusion who exactly had objected to Christian's actions. "If I have to ask permission then you do, too! Tonto del culo!" Florida paused for a moment before lowering his fist and calmly waving to Hawaii with his other hand since he hadn't greeted her yet. Once he had been adequately friendly to his fellow tropical state, he turned his attention back to Georgia and raised his hand high in the air so the middle finger he erected at his former rival could be seen like a proud flag of disapproval. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀<> <>

She was glad that her kiss wasn't rejected or that he didn't freak out like she thought he would; which was also partially the reason why she hadn't given Andrew or Landon a proper kiss on the lips. It was a simple loving custom amongst her people. Mothers kissed fathers on the lips, children kissed each other on the lips, even complete strangers greeted each other with a kiss on the lips. So this sort of thing wasn't new to her, but she still had her doubts if such a thing so accustomed to her way of life might fall upon an ignorant conscious. And the two she had mentioned before might faint if she were ever so forward with them. But it didn't and she wasn't, and that was good!
"I understand and I feel the exact same way. That's why I apologized to Andrew earlier and explained to him exactly what all of the covering meant to me...and how it reminded me of my not-so-great history with the rest of the Union," She began as she moved her right hand across the harpoon to her neck, scratching it quickly with her fingertips before a sudden shouting of the word 'Peaches' caught her attention. At first response, she thought someone was just elated over another person bringing peaches, but she quickly remembered--as soon as her eyes scanned the coastline--that it was a nickname used by Florida for his boyfriend. Upon seeing this, a shell was immediately coming into closer and closer view of the two, aimed straight for Christian's head.
Releasing her grasp on her harpoon with the same hand she was using before, she reached before Christian and caught the conche-looking shell in her hand, winching a bit since a spike had poked her rather roughly in the palm before she brought the shell closer and examined it. She could still hear Rutilio in the background, ranting on about the kiss she had just given her eastern neighbor, which caused her to blush slightly as well, since it was partially her fault that the blond was being scolded in this manner. She continued to keep to herself, fiddling with the shell that was chucked in their direction before she heard the last of the Spanish in his rant.
Glancing upwards, she saw Florida lowering a fist that he had must of intended for going into Georgia's face, blinking at him with her crystal-blue eyes as his gaze finally fell upon her. The fist soon opened up and a wave was then made present. She couldn't tell if he was smiling at her or not, but from her dipped position in the water, the water now up to her chin since she felt bad for starting yet another FloridaxGeorgia fight, due to her freely-kissing nature. "I'm sorry Christian..." She muttered as she looked to him out of the corner of her eyes, biting the inside of her cheek, as she always did out of nervousness. (HawaiianRollarcoasterRide - . . .)

My, the way Andrew glared at him almost made it seem as if Landon had caught him red-handed at something horribly wrong. The Californian was immensely grateful that he had had the good sense to promptly put his camera away, although he was probably going to have to hide it somewhere after all this...
Landon was very happy to see that Christian was so readily willing to accept his apology, although a part of him still wondered what kind of profit he could have made if he had never butted in and issued that deal to the two in the first place. Sure, humility was good and all, but he really preferred the green.
Just when he thought the handshake was over, California suddenly found himself hauled into a noogie by an enthusiastic Georgia. Even worse, Christian even started ruffling his hair! H-He didn't need to be babied like this! It was now Landon's turn to flush red with embarrassment.
When Georgia excused himself to talk with Hawaii, Landon watched him go before turning uncomfortably to Andrew. They stared each other down for many awkward moments before the Westerner decided to break the monotony and speak. "Y'know, Andy, I haven't taken anything new," he said bluntly. "Haven't had time since Pat came back." He nodded significantly to the micro-nation standing some distance away, perhaps watching to make sure he didn't 'overexert' himself. Honestly, Landon wouldn't be surprised if she decided to chew him out after all this...
Rutilio's voice cut through the tension in the air as it shouted something in Spanish that Landon barely heard and threw a shell at Christian that was intercepted by Leilani. Intensely curious but still smarting from his last apology, the Californian edged a little closer to where something interesting would be happening. He could only catch wisps of the conversation, but that would have to do.

If you ever want to know about that one, just ask some day when not so many people are around and I'll tell ya 'bout that one." He smiled softly and allowed himself to sink back into the water so the the only thing sticking above the surface was his head.
He then heard Florida call for him and spun to see Florida chug a shell at him. However, before Christian could fully react, Leilani was quick to react and grabbed the shell to prevent injury from occurring to the blond state swimming next to her. He didn't get a chance to see if she was bleeding, but from the wince he wouldn't be surprised if the shell punctured a layer or two of flesh, even if it wasn't enough to make her bleed. Georgia looked back to Florida and frowned, waving off the finger sent to him, before he reached for Leilani's hand and inspected it for a moment. "Good... He didn't make it bleed.... You would have to get out of the water for a few minutes to allow it to clot if he had..." He patted her hand a couple of times before he released her hand, allowing it to sink into the water if she chose to let it.
He looked up to her as she apologized and smiled softly, his cyan eyes holding nothing but sincerity. "Hey, don't worry about it. It's just some steam I'm gonna get for a little bit. I'm sure once I talk to him he'll untangle his panties and go back to playing." He reached into the water and snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her into a hug, making sure to kick his legs enugh to keep them both above the water. After a minute of hugging, Georgia released Hawaii and quickly dropped into the water before he spun himself in the water and quickly made his way to the water's edge for yet another apology.... Which, honestly, this one was a little unnecessary to him, but he knew he'd never hear the end of it from his boyfriend if he didn't.
He surfaced not too far from where Florida was and gasped for air before he up-righted himself. He was at the part of the water where it was deep enough for him to stand and have the water come up to his chest, so he didn't have to worry about kicking his legs or keeping his arms out for balance unless a large wave came. He brushed some of his blond bangs from his face and frowned lightly at Florida before he crossed his arms. "You could have seriously hurt Leilani just now. And what the hell were you going on about just now? I couldn't really hear a word you were saying. I thought I heard something about Christianity or something? Look, I ain't changing my religion, and I don't know what that has to do with us being at the beach or why you're just now bringing it up..." Yeah.... He really misheard that one. Somehow he mixed "Kissing" with "Christian" and assumed that this was a religion rant since he remembered being younger and freaking out because the Floridian was Catholic.

The State of Tennessee ☀Andrew S. Hickory☀ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Tennessee stilled when Georgia took his hand and caught the look he was given by his brother. It took a great deal of will power not to sulk or huff irritably when he was prevented from smashing that camera. He sat still and was quiet as the two blondes seemed to make peace with each other. He remained perfectly silent as his eyes followed Georgia out into the water where he started speaking with Leilani out of sight and hearing range. He only then turned his attention back to California. The camera was out of sight, but most definitely not out of mind. His eyes only narrowed suspiciously when Landon claimed not to have taken any new pictures. Tennessee had heard that one before from some of the paparazzi that stalked through Nashville trying to hunt down interesting Country Music stars. The Tennessean didn't give California any warning before suddenly tackling the golden boy in an attempt to get hold of the camera and check for himself whether or not Landon was telling the truth. When it came to defending his reputation as being "not cute" (even though everyone but him seemed to agree that he was) Andrew wasn't going to take any risks. ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Grade 9 The Volunteer <> <>

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ Landon had inched about a foot closer when he was suddenly tackled from behind without any warning by Andrew. Too surprised to cry out immediately, he instead fought to roll them both over so that he could be on top—not an easy maneuver given that Tennessee was presently clawing at his shorts to try and get at—his camera!
The thought of getting a multiple-hundred-dollar item chopped to pieces by Andrew’s tomahawk was enough to give Landon a boost of energy, and with a loud grunt, he heaved the two over onto their sides. While the other state was briefly disoriented, Landon rolled quickly over so that he pinned Andrew to the sand, putting them both in a rather awkward-looking ‘hug’, and lifted his upper body to slam it back onto the Easterner’s chest. The impact caused Tennessee’s hands to loosen just a little bit, giving California barely enough room to turn himself around and press his hands onto the other’s shoulders, effectively grounding him for now.
“What the hell was that for?!” he demanded. “Didn’t I just say I haven’t taken anything new?” He was too outraged at Andrew at the moment to pay any attention to the other states conversation he had so surreptitiously encroached on just a minute ago.

☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀"Que?!" Rutilio was startled when Georgia blurted out something about changing his religion from Christianity. Why would he...? Wait, did he still think...? Damn that Oglethorpe! (Because, as far as the former Spaniard was concerned, everything was Oglethorpe's fault.) The Floridian struggled hard not to try explaining to his Protestant boyfriend that Catholicism was also a form of Christianity, too, but now wasn't the time for that! Not to mention it was probably an argument that he would never win with the rest of the Bible Belt no matter how hard he tried... "You are a hypocrite!" he accused instead as he went right back into his dramatic fussing and flailing. "You said I was not allowed to kiss anyone without permission then you kissed Hawaii. If I am not allowed to kiss then you are not allowed to without my permission, either, Coke guzzler! I hope your sneaky smooches tasted like salt and deception!" Where exactly the deception was in this was anyone's guess, but Rutilio didn't worry about his word choice as he went on to stream rapid Spanish accusations at Georgia too fast for even a native speaker to probably understand what he was saying. ☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀✿☀<> <>
