Once he did, Shira yelped and almost fell out of her seat, she gripped the table then when she caught herself "Atticus! W-What are you doing here?" She asked wit ha surprised look. At the same time the depressed look in her eyes seemed to lighten. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

Atticus didn't smile, but one could tell that he was happy that she spoke to him, "You had your chance speak, so now I will have mine." he said as he looked into her eyes, "Shira, I had no idea that I was constantly comparing you to Akumu, in fact if you did not tell me that, I would have not noticed. If it seems like I did it on purpose, I wanted to tell you that I didn't. You should know that I would never do anything to deliberately harm you." he said as he sighed, "But ever since I became human, you've been distancing yourself from me by being angry or upset, and never telling me why. I want to trust you, but when you are like that, I start to doubt myself. I thought you would know how much I cared for you, I gave up my dreams, goals, and the closest thing I had to a parent, just so I could come here and be your partner, but it seems as if you don't even care about that." he said as looked away, "I really am considering going back to Divine and being a demon again." The only road for me to walk now, is the road to Twilight. Where there is no good or evil, only me."

She muttered "I didn't tell you anything is because I was trying to keep my promise with not being mad or sad or anything... guess that did not work well..." She said before looking up at him nervously "And... I am a bit afraid that if I get close to you then something like before may happen again... and I do not think I can handle something like that again." Atticus sighed and looked at Shira, "That promise was pointless, just forget about." he said as he then gave a smile, "You don't have to worry about me forgetting you or leaving you ever again, Divine made me human, just for that purpose. He did this for my sake, so that I may choose whether to be alone or have the chance to be happy, something that he did not get to choose. I chose happiness, and I will never go away again." he said.
