With the tom on his back beside her, Silverpaw glanced at him, and batted at his tail a little before answering.
"If you don't pass your warrior assessment, I don't know who could." She mewled, her eyes wide. She'd never pass hers with a mentor like Pepperdust if Firepaw couldn't pass.

His orange tail twitch a bit as Silverpaw batted at it. Though he was silent as he waited for a response from the silvery she-cat. Firepaw purred at her response. "Really?" He meowed and gingerly poked her chin with his paw. "I wonder when I'll get assigned my assessment." He mused thoughtfully.

The silver she-cat let out a giggle when Firepaw poked her chin, wherever he touched her, tingles spread through her body and she didn't want to leave Firepaw's side.
"Really! And I hope it's not soon, then you won't be in the apprentice den with me!" She mewed, before giggling again, and adding, "But I know you want to be a warrior, and you'll be an amazing warrior, too."

Firepaw purred, his tail swaying happily. He loved to be with Silverpaw. He didn't treat her like others did. Well, at least he tried not to. He liked her because she was a cool cat. Her condition didn't bother him. "Well... If it's soon then I'll just have to visit the apprentice den on some nights." Firepaw joked lightly, purring when she said he'd make a great warrior. "You will too. You'll be the best hunter this clan has seen!" He meowed, careful to avoid talking about battles.

She liked this tom a lot, the way that he acted around her was no different from any other cat, like her condition didn't exist, and he understood her so well. Maybe it was because he had a condition of his own that could make other cats treat him differently. She purred when he said he'd visit the apprentice den.
"You can, it's probably really crowded in the warrior den!" She joked, flicking her tail at him. "To be the best hunter, I think the first thing I'd have to do is catch something." She mewed, sticking her tongue out at the tom. "I can't even catch a cold, much less a mouse!" This time, Silverpaw was joking. She enjoyed hunting, much more than battle training, and she had lots of fun hunting.

Firepaw looked rather quickly to his blind-deaf side when he thought he heard something. Every time some thing approached him from that side, it caught him off guard so it frightened him just a little bit. This time though, it was only a fly. He shook his head and looked back to Silverpaw. "Absolutely. All those warriors take up a lot of space." He purred.
Firepaw playfully snapped his jaws when she flicked her tail at him. "You shouldn't poke that thing at cats." He purred.
"Well. I know of one way you can catch a cold." He retorted.

The way that Firepaw glanced to one side made Silverpaw thankful that at least her condition didn't hinder her senses, but then she shook it off, just smiling along with Firepaw's jokes.
"You don't take up much space, do you, Firepaw?" She asked, pacing around Firepaw's body, pulling her tail away from his jaws and playfully poking his sides. "I'm sure you can share my nest with me." She offered, and when he mentioned catching a cold, she tipped her head to one side. "Really? How do you do that?"

Firepaw shook his head at her question, he was pretty sure he didn't take up too much space. When she poked his side he let out a laugh. "Ey!" He meowed returning the poke. "Really now..." He meowed. "Are you sure you won't attack me in your sleep?" He joked, sitting up.
"Catch a cold? Simple-" Firepaw began. "We go out into the territory and find a stream. Then, I push you in..." He nudged her shoulder, pretending to push her into a 'stream'. "Then we find a windy spot and have you sit there for a little while." The vibrant orange tom stated simply.

Silverpaw giggled with the tom. She'd never been so happy before, and she wasn't about to stop now. She laughed and jerked sideways, the poke made her want to laugh more, but she tried to fight it. "I'm not sure I'll attack you in your sleep, actually. You'll have to prove to me that you're not worth attacking!" She purred.
But the silver tabby shivered as the vibrant tom taught her how to catch a cold. The thought scared her, but she laughed it off. "I believe that's called 'waiting for the cold to catch you'." She mewed, pushing the tom aside, still purring with delight.

Firepaw gave a mock whimper. "But I don't wanna be attacked." He meowed with a flick of his tail.
"No." Firepaw argued. "We're giving the cold a chance to be caught." He said as he was pushed aside. "You have something on your face. Right-" Firepaw poked her cheek. "-There"

The silvery she-cat laughed when Firepaw pretended to be cute and innocent. He did a really good job of it, and he was cute to begin with. "Okay, fine. I won't attack you in your sleep." Silverpaw mewed.
"But how would you catch a cold just sitting there? Do you catch mice by sitting there and waiting for one to jump into your paws?" Silverpaw protested, as she was poked on the cheek. She let out a yelp, and then poked his side again.

Firepaw looked at Silverpaw. How was it that she was so good at arguing? "Well.... No but..." He began, trying to think of something to retort with.
As he was in his thoughts he was poked again. "How'd we start on poking anyway?" Firepaw asked curiously, curling his tail around his paws.

Antswarm was watching Firepaw and Silverpaw once he noticed the 'poking war' that had erupted. It made him laugh, and her tired to comment to Pepperdust about it, when he noticed she had fallen asleep beside him. "That's right, sleep." He thought, toward her. "You need it." ... if you know how to look at it. occ: Have you both noticed it's very inactive in here lately?

The silver she-cat snorted at the vibrant tom, who had decided to change the topic after obviously losing the argument. However, she didn't want to bring it up, she was right anyways. She grinned, and looked at Firepaw again.
"You poked me first." She mewed.

Firepaw laughed at Silverpaw when she snorted. Then, once he had calmed down he attempted to imitate her snort. "You sound funny when you snort." He teased lightly, looking slightly taken aback when she said he poked her first. "You sure about that miss Silverpaw?" The vibrant tom queried.
