"Mmm...I want it all," That Dante could full well believe, Jeremy didn't seem like the guy to go half way when he decided to do something. Still, Dante couldn't help but be curious.... what exactly had Jeremy dreamed of visiting? Was it more a sights of the world kind of a trip, or a get down and dirty with the reality of the world? Either way Dante chuckled slightly at the reply.

"Never settling for second best, hey." He mussed, the words flowing from his lips without thought of any double entendre they may include.

"Then again, I'm not so sure I trust you in the kitchen," Dante quirked an eyebrow at that.

"And why not?" He smiled though, accepting the tease for what it was rather than anything serious. "I will have you know I make one mean roast dinner." It was one of his favourite meals for some reason, though he hadn't cooked one for only lord knew how long. Maybe it was time to change that. "And cake, my chocolate cake will make you melt at the knees, it's that damn good." He chirped, grinning a little. "Of course, if you're worried that it is something else I will be beat you at.... well...." He shrugged playfully, "...can't say I blame you."

"Pardon the intrusion," Man, this guy could kiss, and it was something that Dante happily participated in, making no effort to get away. Of course, the act had one very prominent effect on his circuits, it shorted them, making Dante forget for a moment about his silly idea to take things slow.... all he could see as Jeremy walked away was the sway of hips, all sorts of sinful images revolving around that arse of his popping into mind.... wow, he really did have a thing for arse, strange how he had never really noticed that before.

Jeremy's words hardly processed in his brain as he turned and followed the guy over to the sofa. The moment the guy was perched on the thing he made his move. Straddling that lap and putting his arms around the guys neck, a very forward move indeed.... especially as he leaned down and claimed those lips for his own without hesitation or pause. He allowed his tongue to probe, allowed his breathing to change, and poured all of his passion and feeling into the kiss. Man.... this guy was dangerous, and despite only having known him for a short time, Dante had to wonder if had truly fallen for the guy. God help him if he had.

Breaking the kiss he pulled back to look down at the guy. Jeremy's eyes were striking, and as he looked down for a paused moment between them Dante couldn't help but feel drawn to them. Unsure where the courage came from he found himself speaking, his tone steady and unashamed despite the content of his words.... "What would you say if I said I wanted to forget about going slow?"

He wouldn't push though, if Jeremy didn't want it he would happily roll of the guys lap and sit next to him to watch whatever film the guy had tried to suggest, or go home... whatever was decided. Still, he couldn't help but think he would regret it later if he didn't say what was on his mind. Dante didn't want to be the one who always did as he was told, or what was expected.... no.... for a change he wanted to be just as aggressive as his partner. For most of their exchanges Jeremy had lead the way.... ok, so it had been Dante to push to climb into this guys bed on their first meeting but he hadn't been the one to suggest.... so yeah, in many ways this was Dante's way of trying to chase the guy. He didn't push or demand though, simply looked down at the guy as he waited for a reply.

"And cake, my chocolate cake will make you melt at the knees, it's that damn good."

"So you want me on my knees, huh?" He winked playfully with a chuckle. He figured he could at least flirt with his words if not with his body. It's not as if they could deny their attraction for each other, after all, and let's be honest, they both enjoyed each other in bed. Why hide from it? Might as well be casual and joke about it behind closed doors.

He listened to the rest of what the other was saying. "Whoa whoa whoa!" He laughed.

He hadn't expected the other to kiss and straddle him...not that he really mind it. He certainly couldn't find the strength to move away or push the other off to slow him down, since they had come to the reluctant agreement that they should take it slow. However, two kisses like this in a row sure made it hard. Not to mention the perfect position they were already in made it harder to resist.

"What would you say if I said I wanted to forget about going slow?"

His heartbeat felt like it was shaking his entire chest, and he tried to steady his breath a bit. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked, knowing the very well that the other could just be getting carried away from the first kiss. Though he couldn't resist running his hands up and down the other's sides softly.

He looked the other directly in the eyes. He tried to figure out a way of justifying this in his head. Sleeping with this man once again. But the more he touched Dante, the more he started to ignore all reasons to say no.

Well...he was technically dating the guy now. And the way his body curved was as appealing as ever. But then the thought of Phil came to his mind, and his hands froze. It wouldn't feel right trying to explain the situation to Phil tomorrow after having sex with Dante again tonight. His whole point was supposed to be that he wasn't just in this for the sex.

He removed his hands from the other's body. "We shouldn't," he finally sighed, disappointed with his sudden conscience. "Not tonight...At least...not until I talk to Phil." He knew that probably sounded ridiculous, but Phil did serve as his conscience a lot of the time these days. And he didn't like the idea of the other disapproving. After all, Phil was the closest thing to a father he had. "But, uh..." he paused, looking the other up and down, at a loss for words looking at the other for a moment. "Can we take a rain check...?" He flashed him an innocent and almost pleading smile.

"So you want me on my knees, huh?"

"Always." He chuckled, actually surprising himself with his reply.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He quirked his brow, an expression that just screamed... hello, what do you think? Though he remained silent, simply letting the guy touch him... and man, didn't he just get tingles wherever the guy touched him.

Only a moment later he heard Jeremy speak again, his hands pause in their gentle caress and without listening he knew exactly what Jeremy was going to say. He supposed it was only logical, they had agreed to go slow for a reason.... and who would have thought it would have been Dante and not Jeremy trying to break that. The disappointment only flashed in his eyes for a second before he chuckled softly and waved it off with a nonchalance he didn't completely feel. Moving with as much grace as he could muster he repositioned himself so he was sat on the sofa next to Jeremy instead of on him. He kept a little room between them, though not enough to make it seem like he was suddenly being cold with the guy. "No problem." He grinned, turning his pearly whites to Jeremy. "Rain check it is."

In truth part of him agreed with Jeremy, the guy was worried about Phil and even Dante wanted them to sort things out. He had already committed himself to do what was needed to make sure the friends made up.... but after talking with Jeremy tonight about it, he had a feeling they would find a way.

Eyes turning towards the TV he found himself saying, "So that film you mentioned.... still up for it?" He tilted his head to the side a little as if trying to figure something out.

Jeremy could tell that definitely wasn't the answer that Dante had wanted. That much was obvious. He felt a little bad for half rejecting the other after he had put himself out there like that. He knew how hurtful that could be, even if unintended. It was hard to work up the nerve to do something so sensual.

But at the very least, Dante should be proud that he made Jeremy waver as much as he did. He had nearly given in and ignored Phil completely, but he figured if he could just get Phil to understand now, he wouldn't hold back so much, or worry about feeling guilty afterwards.

Dammit, Phil! He thought to himself.

"Rain check it is."

"I'll make it up to you, I swear." And a swear it was. As soon as he made Phil understand, he wouldn't hold back the urges he had gained with Dante. And he'd, once again, make the first move to initiate.

He snapped out of it when the other asked about the movie, and smiled a little, trying to act casual, though he was plagued with ideas of how and when he could talk to Phil about this. He hated that that idiot had such an effect on him, but...that was how it was.

"Of course," he smiled.

He turned on the TV and sorted through the menu to find the movie before picking it out. He wrapped an arm around the other as it began so that they could at least cuddle a bit during the movie.

However, he ended up falling asleep on the couch before it finished.

"I'll make it up to you, I swear." Dante didn't say anything to that, simply smiled a little but kept his focus wandering between Jeremy and the TV.

Still, he couldn't help but find himself relax a little as the other brought an arm around him and pulled him slightly against him. Dante went willingly, once again surprising himself. Something he seemed to be doing a lot around this man. He kept his hands to himself, despite the soft contact made by his shoulder and head.

Watching the film he found himself losing track of time, he turned about to say something to Jeremy about a particularly funny point when he noticed the guy was fast asleep. He couldn't help but smile down at him, it either meant he was really tired... again... or he felt comfortable enough around Dante to lower his guard, even if it was only a little bit. It took a moment to just watch the guy sleep, not really getting the chance in the past since Jeremy was usually the one to wake up first. He looked at ease.

Slipping himself out of his hold, he carefully placed the arm that had been holding him down by the guys side before tiptoeing away. Each movement was slow, he didn't want to wake the guy up. Wandering towards the bedroom he made quick work of grabbing the blanket that covered it and making it back towards Jeremy. Gently he covered the guy, still being extra careful not to wake him up.

The guy snored, caused Dante to freeze for a moment.... was he going to wake up? It didn't seem so. Wandering towards his bag he took out a piece of paper and a pen, scribbling a quick note and leaving it on the coffee table.

Night Sleeping Beauty,
I'll lock up and post your door key for you.
I had fun. Thanks. Sleep well.
See you at work tomorrow.
Text if you need me before that.

Dante

He had hesitated twice, part of him had automatically gone to write 'love Dante' but he had stalled himself, and then as he had contemplated going for a more colloquial 'luv' he found himself unable to reduce the term to such... and so settled simply for his name. Plain simple, no added affection that could easily scare the guy off.

Grabbing the keys from where he had seen Jeremy dump them earlier in the evening he grabbed his things and made for the door, locking up from the outside just as he had promised before opening the mail flap on the door and tossing the keys back inside.... he hoped the later part didn't wake the guy. Part of Dante had been tempted to allow himself to fall asleep next to the guy, but he didn't want to come across as desperate or needy... another part of him had wanted to help move Jeremy to the bed first.... but at the time neither had seemed like a good idea. He paused in the corridor for a moment, only then realising he had left the guys TV on.... ah well, maybe turning that off would have woken him, especially since he had fallen asleep listening to the thing.

Slipping his coat on he made his way out of the building and towards the Tube. Thankfully it was still earlier enough to grab one home.

The house seemed.... empty.... when he finally made it home. Making easy work of stripping off he crawled into bed naked, enjoying the coldness against his heated skin. It wasn't long before he fell asleep.

------------------------------

The next morning at work passed by rather unproductively for Dante, he spent most of it arguing with Richard and Alex about the best way to present their joint presentation to one of the larger companies. As far as Dante could see the colour scheme they had come up with needed to be reevaluated, it didn't fit in with the clients requirement to be 'trendy'.... but it seemed each of them had a completely different interpretation of the meaning, and it wasn't getting them anywhere fast.

"Fine...." He found himself saying, "If we can't come up with the new campaign images alone then we need to get a second opinion.... or rather a fourth. How about we make up provisional sketches and go from there?" Dante was fed up by this point, arguing really wasn't getting anyone anywhere... and without seeing some solid ideas sketched out they were never going to manage to agree on anything.... doodles, sketches and colour schemes simply weren't going to cut it right now.

"Agreed." They chimed back in chorus, making Dante blink in wonderment for a moment... had they rehearsed that or something? Or were they simply so in sinc after working together for so long. Whatever, there was no time to waste further on the matter. Finally heading back to his desk he settled in, checking his mail and the internal memo system before starting to work on his concept design for the marketing proposal.

He was about to start when he spotted a pink posted note reading 'See the boss'. He stared at the thing in disbelief for a moment, having no idea who had left it or why as he got up and made his way to Jeremy's office.

Jeremy felt less warm and nestled than before once the other got up, but it didn't wake him It was more like he just noticed the difference, but his tired mind assured him that it was only temporary. He had only stirred a little when he heard the keys clang to the ground from the mail slot. It wasn't until a bomb went off in the movie that he jumped to a waking state.

He groaned, remembering how bad this couch was when it came to comfort. He sat up and felt an uncomfortable twinge in his back. He had to stretch and twist a bit to make it feel better. He looked around as he did so, still processing the information around him. He rubbed his heavy feeling eyes as he got up to turn on the light and turn off the TV.

After a few more seconds, he saw that the other's coat was gone. So he left. He supposed that made sense...he probably wanted to sleep somewhere more comfortable. Not to mention there was never any guaruntee of a little sleepover unless sex or alcohol was involved, and for the first night since he had met Dante, they had managed to avoid both, despite the craving.

He groaned to himself again at the memory. Why did I have to be such a loyal guy??

Less than a minute later, he saw the note and picked it up. He smiled a little when he read it. It gave him a little more comfort towards their situation with each other. This was enough to let him sleep comfortably for the rest of his night in his bed...and yet he still wanted the other to be with him as he did. Not for sex, but just his presence...

What the hell was up with that?

***

The first thing Jeremy did that morning was go to Phil's office, closing the door behind him. Phil looked up from his work, a bit surprised at who was standing before him, at first, but then lowered his head to his reading again.

"What's up?" He said a little too calmly.

"Dante came to my place last night."

Phil pursed his lips for a moment. "Oh...?" He didn't actually sound interested. "That's not too surprising, I suppose."

"That's not the best part," he told him before sitting down. "We didn't have sex. And I still had fun."

Now that came as a surprise to Phil. His head whipped up to look at the other. "Seriously?" He asked. "When was the last time you took a man back to your place without the intention of sleeping with him? Middle school??"

Jeremy laughed a bit and nodded. "I'm growing quite fond of his company alone," he admitted. "Which is...kinda weird." He paused again. "He offered to sleep with me, though."

Phil's eyebrow quirked in interest, and it relieved Jeremy to see. "How so?"

"He straddled me and said he wanted to do it," he leaned in, smiling a little at the memory.

"And you didn't f*ck him?"

"I wanted to...I really wanted to," he admitted. "But then your damn face popped up in my head like your my f*cking conscience or something!"

This made Phil burst out laughing. His laugh bellowed, and once again, Jeremy felt better about being here. He had missed these moments. "You didn't f*ck him because you were thinking of me? Is this your way of confessing? I'll have you know I'm a committed man now!" He teased.

Jeremy smirked a little. "I just...hate that you were mad at me for being with him. I guess I wanted your approval," he said, looking away for a moment, turning a little red as he thought about what he wanted to say. This really was a punch to his pride. "You're...my best friend, after all." He paused.

His last words had actually touched Phil a lot more than Jeremy had thought they would. Phil smiled a little.

"But I really do feel like it's the right thing for me to try this out with him." He made eye contact again.

Phil was quiet for a while, then took a deep breath. "I was thinking about it too," he admitted. "I got too involved with your love life, and...I guess I just wasn't expecting it to happen so fast, so I was skeptical. But in reality it's none of my business...I was actually going to talk to you about it today. I missed not being mad at you," he chuckled before straightening up a bit, trying to act like a powerful father or brother. "You have my blessing." He tried to remain serious for an extra second but ended up laughing.

And Jeremy found himself laughing with him. They both realized that they had been looking far too into this situation, and had been thinking much too much about each other lately. Jeremy then continued to explain how he felt bad for saying no to him last night, and Phil attempted to cheer him up, like usual.

"Well. You promised you'd make it up to him."

"Yeah...?" Jeremy raised a brow, not understanding his point.

"So make it up to him by doing something more kinky. Do something with him in your office!" He smiled brightly.

"Are you insane?? That's way to risque and risky! He'd hate if I did that."

"Why would he hate it?"

"Because we're supposed to keep it professional at work."

"Do it in your office. Close the door. No one can see, so no one would know it was anything unprofessional. That's the fun of an office romance!"

Jeremy chuckled a little and shook his head. "It's a fun thought," he said, standing up. "But I wouldn't even know how to make that happen." He left his office.

And of course Phil started playing matchmaker again after that, leaving a note on Dante's desk.

Jeremy was typing away at work when Dante came in. "Something I can help you with, newbie?"

Before Dante could even answer, Jeremy saw Phil sneak up behind him, and shove him in, quickly shutting the door so the two were inside alone. Jeremy had quickly gotten up to catch the other.

"Are you alright?" He asked before walking to the door to open it. But the knob wouldn't budge. Phil had long since learned how to lock a door from the outside using office supplies. Damn him. If he was in the same room alone with the other for too long, he'd be tempted.

He turned back to the other. "It would seem we're locked in...for now. Until otherwise, I suppose we can just...relax." He was quiet for a moment, dirty thoughts plaguing his mind. He cleared his throat in hopes to rid of them. "Umm...How's work?" He attempted. "Feeling alright today?"

Completely oblivious to the conversation that had fallen between Jeremy and Phil, and that was probably a good thing since he would likely have never gone near Jeremy's office again if he had known... .ok, maybe not the truth but still.

"Something I can help you with, newbie?" He went to say something when he found himself shoved into the room, caught off guard he stumbled a little, feeling completely inelegant... very much like a flattened squirrel. Once again Jeremy was there to catch him AGAIN, and he couldn't help but blushing softly. "Guess we are making a habit out of this...." He mumbled, while he straightened himself up.

He heard the lock, and couldn't help but turn to the door and watch as Jeremy tried the thing anyway... locked.... great! Who the.... wait, there was only one person that Dante could think of who would likely dare do this.... Phil. Running his hand through his hair he listened to Jeremy's random words, and he wouldn't help but feel that there was something different about the guy.... it was for that reason that he turned back towards him with a quirked brow and looked the guy up and down from head to toe. "You feeling ok? You're.... " He paused, not really wanting to voice his 'concern'. It wasn't that Jeremy was being weird, it was just more like his out of work persona than his work one, and to be honest it was throwing Dante off guard a little.

"Never mind. I'm fine thanks, but then again I'm not the one that fell asleep on the sofa." He smirked a little at then, unable to tease the guy even as he felt strange for doing so hear. "Work.... let's not go there right now, I am pretty sure I am going to need help burying two dead bodies this evening." Sighing softly he decided to push the thoughts away. Holding up the pink post-it note he said softly, "Do you know anything about this... or... going by what just happened should I just assume it was Phil?" His eyes scanned the office a little then, why did it suddenly feel so small.... and why did his eyes keep going back to the bloody desk. For christ sakes, what was up with him? Was he some bloody teenager with a perma-bona? He was pretty sure his libido had never been this high before.

Ignoring his thoughts he decided to stick to a relatively 'safe' topic... Phil. After all, had it not been the thought of the guy that had stopped everything the previous night. "I am going to assume you spoke to Phil then?" He said, his eyes finally settling back on Jeremy.

Grins777
Awww smile Well I am not sure how long I will be up tonight, but I will poke you when I decide to go to bed.
PostPosted: Tue May 22, 2012 3:29 pm

Jeremy waited for the other to finish his question, but when it was dismissed, he shrugged it off, figuring it wasn't that important.

"Never mind. I'm fine thanks, but then again I'm not the one that fell asleep on the sofa."

Jeremy smirked a little. "Not my fault it was so comfortable there," he chuckled. "Though you didn't appreciate it quite as much."

When the other talked of needing to bury two dead bodies, he nodded and chuckled a little, figuring he was talking about Alex and Richard, since they were all working on that big project together. He supposed the fact that they were arguing it out was good, in a way. At least they were all dedicated to making this a good presentation and product design.

"Might want to make that three bodies. I'd have to say Phil might have to be thrown in there as well."

Phil had gotten a cup and put it against the door to listen in, so he caught that line and chuckled quietly to himself.

He nodded when the other asked if this was the doing of Phil. "I'm afraid I only have yellow sticky notes," he explained. "Never been much a fan of pink."

"I am going to assume you spoke to Phil then?"

"Indeed," he nodded. "We sorted things out," he smiled softly. "I'm really sorry about last night. I really did want to...you know." He looked to the side, as if his desk were a point of interest. "I mean...you're a pretty tough guy to resist," he admitted with a slightly nervous chuckle.

He found himself hyper-aware of everything about the other now. He could actually smell him, somehow. The memory of the other straddling him last night came to mind again. He was quickly losing his work persona, and that worried him. Was an office and a locked door all it took to make him lose his cool?

It appeared so. Well...I had told him I'd make it up to him somehow. Even if the other rejected him now, he figured it would have still even out to fair ground, since Jeremy had done the same, despite himself last night.

Looking a little more closely at the other, he saw a piece of lint in the other's hair. He got up and walked over to him. "You've got a little..." He trailed off, standing a little too close for 'casual work' standards, as he picked the small gray particle out of the other's bangs. After pulling that out and letting it drop to the ground, he found his hand lingering there. He pushed the hair out of the others face slowly so he could get a better look into his eyes. Indeed. They were hypnotic now.

He couldn't resist.

He slowly leaned down and kissed the other. His heart rate once again picked up even more now. He tried to imagine that they weren't in his office, but back at his house. It didn't take much convincing, since he quickly got lost in the kiss and found himself deepening it more, his lips tingling against the other's. He placed his a hand on the other's cheek, feeling his familiar soft skin. It slowly ran down to the side of the other's neck, with care. His lips left a trail of kisses to the corner of the other's lips. and down to the other's collar bone.

"If you want me to stop, you should probably tell me now," he whispered against his skin, finally able to stop himself. "Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll be able to stop myself," he admitted reluctantly.

He didn't like losing his control, but for some reason Dante had this power of it. He wasn't sure when, or how he had gotten such a power. But it certainly changed quite a few things for Jeremy.

He kissed the other's neck one more time as he waited for the other to push him off or say no. He tried to prepare himself for anything and everything.

"Not my fault it was so comfortable there. Though you didn't appreciate it quite as much."

"Not true..." Dante found himself saying before he realised he even had any intention to speak. Running a hand over his face and into his hair he allowed it to pause for a moment as he regained his loosely held composure... he really didn't want to reveal too much with his words but figured he couldn't just leave it there. "...didn't want to bug you more. Figured it was easier to just poof and let you sleep... you were pretty dead to the world, Sleeping Beauty." Normally around Jeremy he suspected he would have winked after that, but he couldn't bring himself to right now. Nerves? Though he wasn't entirely sure what exactly he was nervous about. Small space. Locked inside. Phil the cause. Naught thoughts fumbling through his mind. But who was keeping track.... really?

"Might want to make that three bodies. I'd have to say Phil might have to be thrown in there as well."

"Ok..." He chuckled, "I will grab my shovel." Though he didn't make any effort to move, not even to shift on the spot... something he often did when he got a little nervous. Was it him... or was it suddenly really hot in here?

"I'm afraid I only have yellow sticky notes. Never been much a fan of pink."

"Right....." He drawled, scrunching the note up in his hand and suddenly unable to acknowledge that he had just been played. Ah well, no point lingering on that thought now.

He couldn't help but genuinely smile at the fact that Jeremy and Phil had sorted things out. "I'm glad." He said, the sentiment as genuine as his smile. Of course that only lasted for a moment as the blush reappeared with a vengeance at Jeremy's next words.

Dante was in no way prepared for what spilled out of Jeremy's lips. He had expected it to come up eventually, just not at work, and he was far from prepared for it right now. "Em... eh... no problem... it's fine.... didn't take it personally. I understood." He stammered badly. Ok, now he felt like he was a strawberry.... what a nice colour. Very impressive to reach.

Of course, as always, Jeremy didn't leave him much time to think or collect his thoughts before he struck again. "You've got a little...." The words barely registered. All that did was that Jeremy was suddenly very close... very very close... very very very close.... so much so that if they hadn't been in his locked office, he probably would have pushed the guy away. They were at work after all, and this was exactly how rumours started.... even if there was truth behind them this time. Distracted, he found himself looking up into two dazzling eyes... and in that moment he knew everything was lost. Like a puppet under a spell he was completely captivated.

Returning the kiss, he barely register that one of his own hands had found it's way to Jeremy's hip. Dante was far more aware of the fact that Jeremy was being extremely gentle with him... caressing his skin, kissing and indulging with no obvious rush. And it seemed in that moment that something clicked.... was it possible Jeremy had been in on this with Phil all along? Why else would he even try this at work? Especially since the Phil issue was now supposably resolved.... and that had been the cause of 'stopping' the previous evening.

He took a moment to catch his breath, no longer aware if his face was red or if he was simply on fire from all the spots on his body that instantly recalled the previous attention they had received from Jeremy. Fantastic, it seemed that Jeremy had some strange control over him.... he just had to make sure he never figured that out.

"If you want me to stop, you should probably tell me now. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'll be able to stop myself,"

His mind whirled, and he found himself torn.... the only factor holding him back was the location. Dante had never been one for office romances in the past, and he was pretty sure that had he not met Jeremy before starting here he wouldn't have allowed himself to get close to the guy at all.... or would it? He couldn't exactly claim he had planned much of anything that had fallen between them.

It didn't help that Jeremy had started to kiss him again, the brief yet delicious contact enough to melt away all his worries and fears. He supposed everyone had to be a little daring at least once in their life.... In reply to the guys question, Dante ran his hand up Jeremy's chest, leaning forward slightly so his mouth was near the guys ear. "Just once." He said, unable to say much more... and oddly surprised at how husky his voice sounded even to his own ears.

"Just once." The perfect answer.

"Agreed," he whispered against his skin. He reached around him, and locked the door from the inside in case Phil decided to take off his little lock before they were done being...well...together.

He found himself undoing he other's shirt, and kissing down his chest, running his hands over the other's newly exposed skin. Things like this shouldn't take long. Twenty or so minutes was a usually a normal amount of time for two people to spend in one office, right?

He ended up first servicing the other with excruciatingly thorough detail to the sensitive spots he had found in their last endeavors. And what followed that was simply actions that went with their flow.

***

That was certainly the most excitement he had had in the his office in quite some time.

After freshening up again, putting his tie back on and straightening it, he looked over at the other "I vote we don't tell Phil about this," he said. "I can't believe one of his plans worked," he mumbled. Then again, it wasn't as if he were disappointed in the experience.

It was true that he and Phil had talked about such acts briefly, and indeed they had both done something or other in the office that would be considered scandalous. But it was different with Dante. And Jeremy had honestly not intended for this to happen. He would have been completely content with doing such acts in a safer setting.

But he had to admit, there was a whole other level of excitement in that. At the very least, it was a fulfilling one time event.

He walked over to the other. "You alright?" He asked, resting a hand on the other's shoulder for a moment. "There were some, eh...interesting positions there," he pointed out. They had to work around all the office furniture.

Indeed, Phil had unlocked the door a few minutes after he heard the door being locked, and no one outside of the office seemed to notice, nor care. It was a busy day for everyone in their cubicles. Luckily, they were all in their little box-shaped worlds while they did that.

Dante was out of breath still, each intake far shallower than the one before. In out, In out.... he reminded himself, unsure that his brain even had the capacity to recall how to breath right now.

"I vote we don't tell Phil about this. I can't believe one of his plans worked." He smiled over his shoulder at Jeremy, while his fingers busily redid his shirt and tie. Crap... he was pretty sure the thing looked like a crumpled creased mess now, and for a moment he wondered if anyone would buy the whole 'been stuck in this chair too long' excuse.... probably not, though it was unlikely anyone would even care. "Some thing tells me.... he already knows." He couldn't shift the feeling that Phil was currently playing 'guard', be it directly or covertly, that wasn't clear from this side of the door.

"You alright? There were some, eh...interesting positions there,"

"Ha...." The sound came out as his blush returned a little, "...if I had known you would test it, I would have possibly reconsidered telling you I was.... flexible." He grinned, adding a little wink as he straightened out the rest of his uniform.... including his hair. He was pretty sure the stuff was messed up, maybe he should consider getting it cut, the length was starting to get annoying to keep tidy. Thankfully it was much easier to breath now. Back to normal. As if nothing unusual had happened at all..... except to Dante's eyes the desk looked far cleaner than it had before.

Dante looked at his watch. Crappidy, crap, crap... look at the time! They had allowed themselves to indulge and explore more than he had expected, and what should have been a 'quicky' had turned out to be a little longer than that. Not that it bothered him, but the fact that he was meant to be meeting up with his sketch idea soon. Good job it was nearly lunch. Walking towards Jeremy he kissed him on the cheek softly, stealing one last kiss before returning to colleague status once more, he watched as Jeremy unlocked the door. "Gonna have to work through lunch to catch up. So I'll see you later or something." With that he slipped out of the office and back towards his cubicle.... well aware of Phil's grin as he passed the guy, and sure enough the guy was still hovering around the front of Jeremy's office. It took all of Dante's self control not to react or blush.... I'm not embarrassed... I'm not embarrassed.... He told himself, the mantra strangely helping to calm his nerves.

As he sat down at his desk he couldn't help but touch his lips. The were a little tender from all the deep kisses, and he predicted they were slightly red and swollen too... but thinking about that just lead to him to think about everything had followed the kissing... did he really just do that? Man, was he a glutton for punishment. The worst thing was he couldn't muster enough self-preservation to actually be ashamed of himself... if anything, the only thing his mind was really thinking right now was... Wow.

Phil didn't even attempt to hide his grin as Dante left, entering Jeremy's office unashamed of what he had 'overheard' and extrapolated based on everything he knew. "Crap." He said, a grin upon his features, "What have you done with the real Jeremy? Not seen that dopey grin in a while." He chuckled. "So.... you rocked his world then." He sat down, spreading out and leaning his head on his hands. "Go on say it... Phil, I owe you one."

"Some thing tells me.... he already knows."

"True...he does have a way with snooping," he sighed.

"Ha ...if I had known you would test it, I would have possibly reconsidered telling you I was.... flexible."

"Oh, come on," he chuckled. "You must have known why I was asking," he chuckled. "But your flexibility was still pretty impressive."

Jeremy kissed the other's cheek as well and returned the other, also taking this as the end of their little scandalous affair, and returning to normal.

"Gonna have to work through lunch to catch up. So I'll see you later or something."

"Good luck on the rest of the project," he nodded, closing the door again and returning to his desk.

That was certainly a refreshing visit. He had been very tired and unmotivated to do much of anything today, but after that prolonged 'quicky' he felt recharged. They had said they'd only do it once...but honestly, just thinking about doing that again was extremely tempting. He found himself multitasking: working on the statistics for their target audience, as well as brainstorming other possible places they might be able to do it in the building.

Dammit. He shouldn't have been thinking about it this much, especially since the other had said it was a one time thing...then again they had also said that they would take it slow...and in the beginning they had agreed to put the past behind them completely and essentially have nothing to do with each other... clearly sex and intimacy in general was a big weakness for them.

Still. He couldn't say he regretted it. He smiled to himself at the thought.

Phil walked in not too much long after. "Crap...What have you done with the real Jeremy? Not seen that dopey grin in a while."

Jeremy sighed and rolled his eyes. Yes, everything was returning to normalcy. His smile faded. "There was no grin," he denied.

"So.... you rocked his world then. Go on say it... Phil, I owe you one."

"Nothing happened." That was a bold faced lie. "We talked about how ridiculous you were."

"That explains the locked door," Phil smirked. "And the moans."

Jeremy's head whipped up when he heard the last part. "You can't hear through that door!"

"You can with a cup," he smiled.

How had a guy like this turned out to be his best friend. "Don't you find it the slightest bit creepy that you were eavesdropping on one of your friend's sexual endeavors?"

"So you admit it!" He pointed at him.

Jeremy found himself turning a little red both from embarassment and slight frustration. "Did you hear moans or not??" He demanded.

"Only for the first minute or so. Then I left due to the creepiness of the situation," he teased with a chuckle.

Jeremy sighed. There really was no fooling this guy was there?

"Still waiting for that thank you," he smirked.

"I'm not thanking you for anything."

"Why? It wasn't good?"

"I didn't say that."

"So it was good?"

"Yes!" He exclaimed, looking at him. "Yes, it was a very enjoyable experience."

"So you owe me one! Come on, at least admit I was right," he pouted.

Jeremy sighed, giving in. "I'll treat you to lunch at the cafe, alright?"

"That sex was only worth a measly sandwich? Dante would be insulted to hear that," he half threatened.

"Fine! Lunch at the diner. Including whatever drink you want, and a slice of your favorite pie!" He clenched his jaw. He was not going to live this down for months.

Phil's brows quirked up. "Damn. That must have been some really good sex."

**

Lunch came and went, and Jeremy wasn't sure if he was supposed to meet up with Dante tonight or not. They were supposed to go on a date this weekend, and all. And they hadn't made any plans for tonight. He supposed if he happened to see him at their stop, then they could decide what they wanted to do from there.

So he went down the elevator alone, and walked to the subway.

After Dante kicked his mind into gear he found that he got things done with amazing skill and detail, he was so not feeling refreshed. No, really he wasn't. Damn, ********, s**t.... he would never live it down if Jeremy knew, despite the physical ache -a constant reminder of what they had been rocking in the office- he was as sharp as a fiddle. Sighing he simply accepted it and got to work.

He didn't eat anything, nor did he make any effort to, he wasn't sure he could handle food right now.... plus he was busy. Finally done with his sketches he ended up back with Alex and Richard, more back and forth, more contemplating their deaths... though this time he grinned over it, thinking how Phil would join them, and then in turn thinking of Jeremy.... a vicious, vicious cycle indeed.

"You ok Dante?" He snapped to attention at that, looking at Alex with as much 'innocence' as he could muster.

"Yeah... why? Does something look up?" He already knew the answer. How many guys grinned like he was while knee deep in an argument? Answer.... very very few, and usually Dante wasn't among them.

"Eh, well..... never mind." There was a chuckle, "Just that grin your sporting. Must have been good whatever it was." Crap! He thought, how was he going to talk himself out of this? Instead of words those his smile faded and he tried to shrug of the desire to grin once more. "Back to work?" he asked, clearly dodging though neither guy pressed or assumed anything.

In the end the three of them had agreed and disagreed with different elements of each other designs, and a sort of mix and match of the three had occurred. While his own colour scheme had been overruled, Dante was proud that he got to pretty much keep the layout he had come up with. Adapt and overcome, as they said. By the end of the day he was actually rather proud of what they had whipped together, and he was sure the experience was going to cement them together as a team... at least for this project. Before he even realised it, it was getting late. The office nearly empty of the usual busy bee workers that zoomed and buzzed around the place, in fact he was pretty sure that Jeremy had gone home already too. Grabbing his stuff he headed out, slipping his phone free as he climbed into the elevator. A quick tap at the keys and he sent a text to the guy.

Finished late, sorry I didn't catch you. See you tomorrow. smile

As always with his text messages he used full words, not actually very good at reading the message himself if it was filled with too many text-slang words, sure he got stuff like 'l8r' and '2gtha' and even 'lmao'.... but he was far happier in the realms of 'real English'. Part of him, he realised as he waited for the train home, was actually disappointed he had missed the guy. Even as the rational side of his brain knew all too well that they couldn't see each other every day, it wasn't like they were living together, and it was far to early for anything like that.... still, the urge to see the guy didn't fade.

His stop was approaching, and he had a moment of hesitation at getting off.... but what was he going to do? Get of at Jeremy's stop, wander around a little bit before finally caving and going to his place, only to find he was out... or with Phil... or far too busy.... yeah, that was far from his brightest idea. In the end, the thought of bugging the guy too much was what prevented him from procrastinating, getting off like normal he headed home

Grins777
Bah..... 5am.... just as horrible as 3am... XD hehehe.
Ok, coolios..... I go to 'stay and play' with the kids usually on a Wednesday, so I probably won't be around that much after 9am (which is 4 hours away) since it starts at 9.30am. Lasts for 2 hours, but I am not sure what I am doing after today. smile Will linger as long as I can though.

Jeremy had been finish up eating his dinner when his phone went off. He looked at the text and couldn't help but smile, a little happy that the other had even thought to text him. Thought he wasn't actually sure if he should reply or not. It wasn't really a message that asked for a response, was it? Then again, it might seem like he was ignoring him if he didn't.

Quote:
Hope it all worked out in the end! Eh, we spent a good amount of quality time together today, anyhow wink

God forbid anyone at their job steal either of their phones and snoop for some odd reason. It'd certainly be hard to explain his way out of that message. Note to self: regularly delete messages, just to be on the safe side.

Jeremy was another person who didn't really enjoy text speak. It certainly took away from the conversation, and was a pretty bad habit to develop in the first place. The only time he did happen to use it was if he was in a hurry with his hands full, and the text message absolutely needed to be responded to right then and there. A very rare set of circumstances.

That night, he went to sleep peacefully, and woke up early the next morning, deciding to go to work early as well

It wasn't until he got to work that he realized he had gotten a message from Phil as well. A teasing one asking about if there were plans to fool around today, and if he should just avoid his office completely. Jeremy pursed his lips and responded with: It was a one time thing, Phil. One time. Already he could tell Phil was going to give him s**t all day.

Although...not like he wanted it to be one time, but he'd certainly try to convince himself and Phil that it was.

His sexual thoughts of Dante had been adding up quite a bit. Their first time at the hotel, their second time when he was depressed, and then yesterday, in the office. The third time's the charm, he supposed. It was technically the first time they slept together without the help of depression or alcohol. That time it was...lust? Perhaps?

He just hoped his office wouldn't forever remind him of all the things they did, in all the places they did it. It sucked being a highly sexual male, sometimes.

Alright. I guess we'll see how long I actually stay up! Haha

On his walk back home his phone went off again, a message? He hadn't be expecting one... and the one he got was enough to have him glowing from ear to ear. Thank god the signal on the Tube was nonexistent or it was probably that he would have made a fool of himself.

Did he reply? He decided not to in the end, it wasn't as if anything had been asked.... and he really didn't know how to respond. 'We sure did'..... 'One hell of a workout'.... or even worst, 'Let's do it again sometime'. Yes, Dante had said only once.... but as he remembered how easy it had been to talk him into it the first time Dante couldn't help but wonder if Jeremy knew the combination to unlock his pants..... after all, the guy had practically had him purring and eating out of the palm of his hand. His stomach chose that moment to growl, which considering he hadn't ate much today didn't overly surprise him. The smell of the cake show beckoned and before he knew it was in the thing indulging in his 'habit'. Today, a spectacular looking chocolate mini cheesecake with chocolate curls and flute. Lot of chocolate, and already he was licking his lips in anticipation.

The evening faded past quickly. Music. Work. Eat. Sleep. Nothing really out of the ordinary.... except maybe the call back he gave to his Father. An earlier flight than original scheduled, and Dante was actually worried that he wouldn't have time to get there after work.... As always his stubborn Father insisted that he would simply go and eat at a restaurant or something while he ate, did the guy even realise how much media attention he got at times? Ah well, maybe his appearance would actually help some poor struggling business who would end up able to boast that the guy had sat in their chair or something? It was amazing how reputation and fame could sometimes generate business.

The next day was uneventful, at least in comparison to the previous day. More work, a few meetings..... and a complete avoidance of eye contact with the glass office that belonged to his 'boss'. He didn't have a reason to go there, and for that he was actually thankful for..... his imagination was already expressing itself rather well without the visual cues and reminders of where and what exactly they had done to each other.

"Morning." Dante looked up to see Phil, and visible cringed a little.... he was sooooooo not in the mood to be teased right now. Reluctantly he replied, "Morning." But was thankful to find that an all knowing grin was all he got as he waved and walked off. Perhaps he was safe from the guy since they were at work... after all Phil was Jeremy's best friend, and probably wouldn't do anything to ruin the guys career.... well, outside of suggesting it to Jeremy in the first place.

No! No! No! No! NO! Focus Dante! Turning back to the computer he did just that. He had packed his own lunch today, well aware that he was probably going to work through again today.... he was on a roll, and ended doing exactly that. At some point Richard had grabbed his chair and was squeezed behind the desk with Dante as they poured all their hard work, hopes and dreams into the little digital box. Now that they were finally agreeing Dante had to admit the guy was pretty easy to get on with, and funny. He was aware that he had actually burst into laughter a few times from one joke or another.

Popping a grape into his mouth he was completely focused on work... so it came as quite a shock when a loud slamming of a door echoed through the building and some guy stormed out of Jeremy's office... looking very much like he wanted to kill the guy for one thing or another. Dante actually almost felt bad for the guy, having been at the end of being ripped into on his first few days he was well aware how much the guy pushed in his quest for perfection. He hadn't meant to stare.... but even after the chaos had calmed down he discovered his eyes were still lingering on the door... what the hell was he doing? Trying to catch a peek at the guy or something.... how bloody pathetic was that? Worst, he was covering for his action, or rather inaction, by stuffing a bite of his sandwich into his mouth.

Grins777
