Silver saw another vampire levitate towards her. Having just fought down the urge to change, she immediately let it rise up again, but this time it was conscious and therefore the monster inside her was under her control.

However, as she began to fight her, she quickly realized that she was overpowered. The vampire was stronger, faster, and overall just better than she was. As she was backed up against the wall, the vampire leaned in to deal the final blow. As the urge to kill surged through her veins, Silver thought to herself Big mistake! The extra push from the monster inside was all that she needed to overpower her; with one quick slash the head was rolling away from her. As she looked up, she saw Anne being dragged out of the room by a swarming horde of vampires.

She darted the two feet or so from the place she was standing to the window. She punched the glass, ignoring the shards digging into her skin as it shattered, and desperately threw herself out. Extending her wings, she rose above the hotel complex and watched, helpless, as the girl was kidnapped.

They won't get away with this! she thought angrily. Her wings outstretched, she soared above the car in which Anne was trapped, following it so she would know where her captors were taking her.

She tried to stay out of sight. Oh, she tried. The clouds were minimal, but she stayed in them as much as possible. But eventually, she was spotted. She tried to dodge the bullets, too, but there were far too many of them. Eventually, her wings grew so full of holes that they could no longer hold her above ground, and she plummeted to earth.

The impact was hard, but not too hard to incapacitate her. She staggered to her feet; something crunched and hurt a lot when she moved her right arm, but it didn't stop her from walking. She called upon what little adrenaline and monster-juice she had left and began to run at a superhuman speed back towards the hotel. She could at least tell the others what direction Anne's captors had taken her.

"You're nothing but a lot of talk," Elaine growled. "Even if putting a machete in your body won't kill you, I'll bet it'll certainly hurt. You've no reason to protect us except to get what you want. Once you get whatever it is you're looking for you'll no doubt bail." With a frown she decided, "No deal sprite boy."

Dean continued to stare silently at Fintan before he finally blew up, "I don't know, or care, who the HELL you think you are. I am not for trading. I have half a mind to kick your a** without even listening to the rest of your speech." Emily was staring at that Silver gone in awe. She had half a mind to kick her butt for telling her secret. She turned to look at Fintan. "We are not idiots, you imbecile. We have prior engagements, as you have already realized. I personally could not care less about what you say from this point on. Please leave for your welcome has expired" she said in a cool tone. Sam stood again and positioned himself in front of Emily.

Elaine glowered at him. She would have chucked him out of the window if she knew what he was capable off. "I think our answer has been pretty clear," Elaine stated. "However," she smirked. "You're obviously very desperate if you want help from what you see as lowlife beings. If we do this deal I suggest you go in first as a favor of trust." Tucking the machete into one of her belt loops Elaine looked him over to see if he would try to bluff.

Anne felt so tired as she began to slowly wake up. Her body ached so badly, five fiery points all over her body. One on her right side of her neck, one on each arm, and one on the insides of her thighs. She could hear footsteps walking all along the room. They sounded too far apart and light to be more than one person. Anne didn't want to open her eyes and let them know she was awake. Anne was beginning to lose feeling in her lower body. Please hurry. Anne thought. Please hurry, please, oh Jack please let them be coming. It was almost as if she was praying to something or some one.

Fintan scoffed, "You are a prime example of what's wrong with the gender of your species. Always so damn nosy. I was being discreet because it's simply my business, besides none of you asked how I would be...aiding you."

"Nosy am I?" Elaine asked Fintan. "Who is the one walking in on people and proposing a deal for a reason you won't clearly reveal simply because it's your business?" She went down to check on Silver. "My business is making sure Anne doesn't get murdered by some ravenous creature which no thanks to this unclear discussion is becoming more impossible by the minute! Help us if you like. I don't give a damn either way. We're getting out of here."

Elaine picked Silver up and looked at the others in the room. "Let's go."

Elaine frowned at Emily for taking Silver out of her arms. "What do you think I'm going to toss her out the window just because I pointed a gun at her earlier?" Elaine asked Emily as she followed. "I'm not heartless you know."
