Alice crinkled her nose at him which was a sign she was a little irritated when he didn't play her game. She looked up at him and sighed as he went `and spoke to Darion and releasing him to go. Darion turned away from Yajuu and Alice and grabbed his things."The tournament doesn't start until awhile... I think I can squeeze in a fight before hand, lets see what unlucky b*****d crosses my path first..." Darion would leave the Bed of Bones with no particular destination in mind.

Darion would walk back to the grotto with the body over his shoulder. He would throw it down on the ground and smile."And just like that I win... Originally it was almost three on one, until I knocked this girl out and held her hostage, I would have been able to get all three of them but someone over confident that he knew me challenged me. Everyone else backed off, in the end I still won." Darion would take out the voodoo doll controlling Laura and make her stand up. He liked the voodoo he had learned but until Yajuu told him the next step he would train some more.

Darion recalled four general skills he had read up a long time ago. He figured he would start with the easiest. Strike Raid. Darion would throw his spear like a boomerang and watch it spin towards a tree. The spear would return towards him and he would catch it with the same hand he threw it with. 1/1
Darion had ideas for moves he could preform for the next skill. Super Jump, with that skill he would be able to jump really high. Darion would focus his ki inot his legs and would crouch down and jump high into the air, he would then land on a tree branch to make it so he wouldn't damage his legs.1/1

Darion would recall the third skill, called Smooth Landing he would think about how to execute it for a moment. It had the potential to soften landings for him to an extent but how he was going to pull it of was going to be tricky.1/7
Darion would close his eyes and picture his Ki network, he would picture the scenario of him jumping off a building, he would see how the ki would benefit his legs, he wasn't sure if it was releasing the ki that would help or lining the ki on his legs that would help. He sat and pondered on the situation.2/7
Darion thought he had reached a conclusion as he would then jump from the tree branch, was he fell he would load his legs with ki, lacing his muscles and bones with ki made him land perfectly like a cat. Darion would smile, he had the right way of doing it down, but he would check to at which height it would help at. 3/7

A high pitch shrilling noise would be heard, and then hundreds more joined in conjunction with the original shrill. It started off quite, Darion may have known something was wrong because all the insects and birds in the trees became dead quiet. The shrilling noise grew every louder and louder, and then for some reason, the sky grew darker. Darker than it originally was, for if Darion would look up, he would see hundreds of flying beasts blocking out the light of the moon. They were faceless, black skinned horror with large wings and claws, and as soon as Darion would notice their presence, all of them swarmed, 200 Night Gaunts in all, diving straight for Darion. Each one of them letting loose a unholy cry of fury.They were coordinated to say the least, for they came from all different directions, many of them using the trees for cover to initiate surprise strikes.

Darion would look up and throw both of his hands up at the same time, Suddenly two beams of pure high concentrated ki would shoot out of his hands that would freeze everything they touched and not only that but pass through them to get the ones behind them too. Darion would move his hands move the beams as well to get as many as he could and even the ones behind them. As they would fall they would shatter at least half of them would die from this. Darion would take up his steel spear and Impale the demons that would come towards him. He could see the ones hiding in the trees considering he never turned off his chi sight. He would most likely be able to avoid all of them with minor difficulties

Yajuu glanced at Alice. "Still working for Akasun then..." Really Yajuu shouldn't have resented Akasun. The man had always accommodated him with whatever Yajuu wanted. Yet still the very thought of the man repulsed him. The two veterans were able to spare some time to talk about old times before Darion had returned with his prey, but he wasn't afforded much peace before a set of Night Gaunts attacked him. Yajuu grew a fanged smirk, knowing who could be the only one behind such an attack. "Demona..." He hissed under his breath. Naturally Yajuu could banish these creatures whenever he wanted, but he paused for a moment. His student could use some of this training.

Alice was about to was about to say something when she heard the shrieking of the Night Gaunts. When she heard Yajuu hiss the woman who started this name she sighed. Looking to the sky covered in Night Gaunts she spoke, "So it has begun then....It's too early yet but it's begun." Her words were cryptic and she stepped inside Yajuu's hut to not even look at the disgusting creatures Demona controlled. She knew the woman was going to come back due to the email Akasun sent her. She knew what the reason was....To kill off the weak. A natural genocide.

Indeed Darion may have been able to get more, but there was some kind of other force here at work. A guiding hand that seemed to save the Gaunts by spreading out between themselves, mitigating the damage caused. Still, many Gaunts crashed to the ground in iced chunks, but some would find their way past Darion's initial defense. There was simply just to many for Darion to keep track and react to them all at once. The one's that got past the defense came together from all sides attempting to grab Darion, and fly off with him.
In the meantime, a large group of the Gaunt's split off from the main attacking group and landed near a tree. They all clumped together among the tree, exerting all their force. It appeared as if they were trying to uproot it.

Darion would watch as the Gaunts would approach from around him and grin and he would plant his heel in the ground and wait until the Gaunts would get close enough, when they were within the range of his spear he would quickly thrust his spear forward and spin, he would use both hands to hold the spear managing to hit the Gaunts that would attempt to surround him. He would use his ki to enhance his speed and manage to slam into the Gaunts making them pile into each other as he spun, keeping them against the spear he would send them launching as he would stop spinning, he would place one hand on the ground and spikes of ice would shoot up facing the gaunts as they would be sent towards the sharp tips that aimed to impale them. Darion would jump back and wait for the next move of the Gaunts.

The Gaunts that attacked Darion eventually met their end, but the assault was far from over. A large sound would appear, something that resembled crashing wood, and from behind a large tree was being flown in the air by many of the Gaunts, and it heading straight for Darion in a battering ram type fashion. As it came, some of the Night Gaunts, five in total attempted to dive into Darion, and hold him in place as the tree would crush him.

Alice head the snapping of wood from in the hut and she ran out to see a tree flying towards the kid. Pushing him out the way the wind began to swirl around her right hand in and up her arm in a quick motion. A smirk appeared on her face as she punched right at the tree flying at their way. If the hit would connect the tree would shatter into many pieces and attempt to impale the gaunts by the wood shards. Yet that would make her a target. She went to pull an emergency phone out her pocket and found it wasn't there. She looked at Darion,"Do me a favor and go get my phone out the library cause it's a lil important right now since this s**t was not supposed to be ******** happening yet you stupid son of a b***h akasun!" She practically snapped at the boy.

Even if an opponent tries to make a narrow dodge to the side the powerful winds wrapping around the arm will send them hurling and flopping away through the air like a human wind-mill until most likely crashing through the nearest solid object, dealing an incredible amount of damage that way. Because the fist is obvious and clearly visible, this skill is best used with a speed-enhancer technique (such as Jet Flight). Lasts 2 posts.

Darion would glare at Alice for a moment. She knew this was going to happen? Darion would look at Laura and groan. He would run up to her and stab her in the heart, killing her so she couldn't wake up. He would quickly take her body and put her inside Yajuu's hut. "Watch my prize... Also don't expect me to come back so quickly... I have friends and before I do anything for someone who knew about this, I'm doing what I want..." Darion would say as he would stab his voodoo doll in the heart to release his hold on Laura and take the blood from one of the Gaunts and wipe it on the dool, giving control of it's body. . The Gaunt would quickly begin to walk out of the area as Darion would quickly put himself over one of it's shoulder. Acting as if he died.

The Gaunts weren't just going to sit idly by and let Darion walk off without being followed, it was clear that Darion was the main target, as they largely ignored Alice. As Darion left, all the Gaunts flew up into the air and converged onto one another recreating the swarm. Once they were in a bundle again, they flew after Darion. Normally, the Gaunts would be fooled by Darion's ruse, but their were eyes behind the Gaunt's head that Darion wouldn't be able to see, eyes that knew when their prey was trying to act sly.
