ThePersonInFrontOfYou Hi there, short shorts! confused She looks younger then I thought she'd look, but I actually kind of like this design. I like the colors and the cloak a lot. I feel like she would have been better without the book, or having her hands and face reflect that she's holding a magic book or making the book float instead of just slapping it on. But maybe they wanted to hide the fact that she's wearing tight cutoff shorts and exposing her midriff too. The book just bugs me, I guess. ^^^ Fully agree with what Tiki said. It seems that Celica is my favorite female DLC art out of all the female DLC. But at the same time, we don't know what else will be coming. >>; In addition, you're right. The patterns is now broken to figure out who will become the next DLC. WE WANT FE7 LORDS!!! >>;

I find it funny, that everyone had some issue with the previous Female DLC characters, but not Celica... Celica's art is done by an outright Hentai artist (saitom) that Nintendo just so happened upon. Not that I'm complaining about it- it's great, although I will say, it looks kinda "Generic Anime Magical Girl" to me, but it's kinda funny in a way that people like this one more than the others.
And yes, the pattern was shattered, although Othin, and a few others maintain it wasn't-- stating that the next 2(after Celica) will RvBFinal-- Eliwood (Paladin), LvDFinal-- Ike (Paris's Class) or the option that we don't get Ike thru DLC and he IS Paris.
I think there might just be another set of 5-star maps ahead, despite Othin citing gameplay reasons why not, yet, even as brutal as the maps seen thus far are, there's no "Breaker" builds being used by the enemy (Aka: No 5-slayer Nosferatu++ Sorcs, No 100% Critical 70ATK Vantage Ruin wielders...) Hell, outside of Tiki, there's no Manakete. There's definitely room for them to get even harder, so it's not impossible.

I really didn't want to talk too much about her... tight pants... but what an artist does does not spread to every piece of art they do. I know I've stated the pose of Micaiah in particular is what made the picture really icky looking, as opposed to just putting her in a tasteless outfit. The pose made it ten times worse. It implies a mindset and not just an outfit. That's a similar issue to the one I had with Tiki's Shadow Dragon official art. She's always had her short skirt, but that pose and that face... eaugh. I didn't care about what the artists themselves did before drawing DLC characters, though I do think it is interesting to know. They just don't affect my opinion of the piece itself, which does and should be able to stand alone. Plus, we haven't gotten anything by Shirow Masamune yet.I do wish Celica looked older, though. I have not played Gaiden, but I have seen her art, and I thought she would look older. Elincia's still my favorite DLC lady, despite what I said. Stupid pants. Ahh... that's why I can't find the artist... Eh. I still really want some FE7 characters. If that prediction is right, I am excited to see Eliwood.

Not sure how Elincia was stereotypical or whatever.
As far as it goes, the next is LvD2 obviously.
I'm stating the theories.
RvBFinal (Whenever it shows)-- has to be a FE7 character. Eliwood is the primary Choice, obviously, he's a Paladin. It could be Lyn, but that'd stack Swordmasters (Lyn needs to be a SM-- she would need to retain access to her Legendary).
LvDFinal would likely be Ike- and considering his class: There's enough info to state Paris's class is a Hero-type.... and there's plenty of parallels between Ike and Paris (And not just the name (Ike's original name was Paris))... it'd set Ike off as a unique class amongst the DLC units.
The other option relies on Paris and Ike being one-in-the same (Because Ike won't be left out)-- and that'd be instead of Ike we once again, have the option of getting Master Knight (all weapon types)-- ofc, that'd mean we'd be getting Sigurd.
Furthering the connection is the fact that at this release rate, LvDFinal will be announced at the same time as the release of Paris's Spotpass Chapter...
I don't think that's entirely the case myself. I think there's a strictly 5-star set waiting in the wings.

Again, what makes you so sure the next DLC is officially confirmed? :/ It could be a rumored or someone's theory. It's not like the company said what the next DLC will be before releasing it.

Personally, I don't believe they'll be releasing a "Master Knight" class that can use everything. Othin and others have pointed out that the display screens for character information use virtually all space in the screen and that characters in classes with 3 weapon types have no room for anything else. That and it blatantly destroys any notion of balance.
Meanwhile I do love the Celica art. It's simply the most fabulous. Elincia's was cute as far as the female designs go so far but Celica blows her away I think. And if you look at virtually any FE art from the 90s, if you're not wearing a harem pant, armor, or no pants, you're wearing tight pants. It could be pretty homoerotic Oh... I miss it.
There's also no way we're NOT getting Ike and Sigurd at some point. Still think that Lyn'll be released as a Myrmidon, as it happens to be the case that they've been releasing unpromoted characters, and Myrmidon fits her more accurately then either Assassin or Swordmaster. I could see her getting a skill that lets her use those class exclusive swords in any class, though. I can't imagine Ike not being a Hero or Eliwood not being a Paladin (unless they use new classes for them), although I could see Sigurd swinging as either a Great Knight or Paladin. Because he's a boss like that. I also expect another full set of DLC maps, but I do not expect it to be completely 5 stars.

As a note: Nintendo Direct confirmed FEA NA and EU Release is 2013.
The translations appear to be separate as well, as Treehouse (AKA NoA's in-house translation team) is dealing with the NA release directly...
Europe got Jossed. Haha.
Also: The DLC being released for the NA version IS confirmed.
All of that could've been assumed, but there was a direct confirmation last night, so...

That's what the general guess was (Obviously, the plan was to localize the game- otherwise Reggie wouldn't have had such a blunder- it just was so far off, that it wasn't going to worth mentioning at E3.) And it was proved right.
As a note, I'm guessing March for both the NA and EU release. Jan/Feb are out: They're too close to the Christmas rush, but after it. It shouldn't take more than a year to localize the games-- 11 months would drop the release right on March- which, yes, is a common release month.

Obligatory DLC Announcement Post LYN. SWORDMASTER. With that, the idea that they're not going to repeat a class is dead... However, FE7 + RvB3 being this one does fit the pattern.
